Associations Request Financial Relief for Members by Reducing or Waiving 2021 Licensure Fees

On December 2, KSLA sent a letter to Secretary Friedlander, CHFS, (also signed by the Presidents of Leading Age and KAHCF/KCAL) requesting financial relief for the long term care industry.

In the letter, we asked Secretary Friedlander to reduce or eliminate 2021 license fees for skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and personal care homes.

While we haven't had a response to our request yet, we're hopeful that some financial relief will come from this effort. We'll keep you posted.
