Certified Medication Aide Training Course Application Process Workshop - 10 a.m., Monday, June 10

The Kentucky Board of Nursing will conduct a workshop for providers who wish to create and open their own CMA 1 or CMA 2 training program. This workshop is designed to prepare a facility/proprietary program with the creation of a CMA course, as well as the submission/approval process through the EDvera system.

This workshop will take place from10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. (EDT) on Monday, June 10 via Zoom.

Advance registration is required. To register, visit the following link: https://us06web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZcpde6qqzkpGdLPozeSPUFQavi5mTuGz3ud.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. Please submit any questions you have about creating and submitting a CMA training course for approval to: joyr.pennington@ky.gov.

Important note: The KBN uses EdVera to collect required information and documentation for the purpose of approving training programs. This workshop is for that purpose only.

OIG will use EdVera for the ALC licensure process but this workshop is not for that. OIG will send out instructions for how to use the EdVera platform to apply for ALC licensure at a later date.
