During the two days of the final session of the General Assembly, the House Committee decided to strip the amendment calling for the Assisted Living document that was originally in SB20 from the Bill. HB29 was eventually passed by the Senate but it only covered that portion of the Bill which extended a temporary administrator's license from six months to nine months.

Therefore, we're still operating Assisted Living communities under the existing regulation with no changes. This means that reviews by DAIL should only happen every two years unless you have a statement of danger or an out-of-compliance issue related to providing health services.
