Virtual Roundtable Discussion with All KSLA Providers - Discontinued For Now

For the past eight weeks, KSLA has hosted weekly virtual roundtable discussions regarding COVID-19. During these calls, many of our provider members have shared strategies and coping mechanisms for supporting residents, as well as various community issues such as PPE and staffing.

Some really good information has come from these discussions, and in fact, it was these discussions that led KSLA to submit a proposal to DAIL regarding limited resumption of certain activities in assisted living and personal care (see the proposal in the above article). We're told that we will be hearing from the Task Force on Long Term Care with a response to our proposal soon.

While these roundtable discussions have been helpful to many, attendance numbers have declined over the past few weeks. We're going to discontinue these calls for the time being. We will continue to address issues and concerns as vigorously as ever and will provide feedback to all of our members via weekly eBlasts.

For those who would like to see minutes of past roundtable discussions, they're located on the KSLA website on the members only resource page. Simply log in to the members only portion of our website (in the top right corner). After entering your user ID and password, click on "resources" (under the login heading). There you'll see several sections and the COVID-19 resources are the third section down.
