SOMERSET , Ky, is fortunate to have Bluegrass Senior Living available for our senior population. Thank you, Farm Bureau! It’s a beautiful facility and the staff is friendly and always helpful. They are available to answer questions or to direct you to the person who can help you. Scheduled tours help you gain important information. I was in search of Memory Care for a very important person in my life. Although he has only been a resident for a week, I think he will receive excellent care. Workers are readily available to give you a quick report on progress or concerns. Activities are planned throughout the day. We are anxiously looking forward to experiencing Memory Care at Bluegrass Senior Living.

The staff is great, they are helpful and busy. The food is good too.

I have nothing but good things to say about Bluegrass Senior Living. My mother has Alzheimer’s and I could no longer care for her in my home. I have always worried about placing her in a facility bc you never know until you get there if it’s a good place to leave her. We took her for respite care one weekend and she wanted to stay longer than just the weekend. She has flourished while living in the facility. She loves her room and all the staff as much as they love her. I highly recommend Bluegrass Senior Living for Assisted Living along with Memory Care living!

Assisted living may not be for everyone, but for my wife and I, it has been a godsend. The accommodations are in a home-like environment with nearby friendly neighbors. I have often described the meals as being "Cracker Barrel" like, home style with many choices. However, the best part of being in the Bluegrass Senior Living family, is the competent nursing staff.....24/7 assurance of a nurse when needed. My children appreciate the worry-free environment that Bluegrass Senior Living allows us to enjoy.

Excellent facility with a caring staff that takes the time to assist residents in matters large and small. My mom looks forward to her weekly hair appointment and the staff is wonderful to her. She loves her friends at Bluegrass. Thanks

The staff is very attentive to needs of my Mom who suffers from memory loss. They engage her socially and with activities to “live in the moment”. They have gotten to know my mom’s personality with her likes and dislikes. The staff works to play into these to make my Mom’s day pleasant. They attend to her medical needs in coordination with local doctors. The facility is clean, bright, and pleasant.

The room sizes the apartments and single rooms are big enough 2 can live comfortably The staff will answer questions so be nosey.

Very professional and organized. The staff is exceptionally compassionate, kind and caring. The building is immaculate, beautiful and well appointed. Surrounded by nature, makes it a peaceful place to dwell.

Dad had a great time yesterday at Bluegrass Senior Living. It was a long fun day with wrapping presents for families, taking dad around to look at all the local vendors who were selling their goods. He picked out a "red" hat, of course. 😆 After supper, the staff quickly and so eloquently got set up for the Christmas tree lighting ceremony and a cookie and cocoa bar. A fun time was had by everyone. I hope that the vendors return next year as it was very convenient and fun for the residents to shop for their loved ones without having to go in the cold. There was something for all ages. And what a way to support your local vendors who make homemade goods. Our dad loves living there, he enjoys the staff members and the men who he visits during the dinning hours. I hope that you all have a very Merry Christmas with your families and friends. ✝️🙏❤️🎄

Whated to express our thoughts about Bluegrass Senior Living. This is a place where I have a Sister Marietta Marcum there. She is treated like family and the staff goes the extra mile for all the residents there. It is a beautiful Facility, so clean and maintained. They take care of the families as well as their residents. So helpful in many ways. Also wanted to say we have loved the awesome food that has came out of the Kitchen thanks to the Awesome Chef Denise and her staff hats off to you guys for a awesome job. Your the best. Thanks to the staff Becky Young, Becky Spillman, Jennifer Ford The Nurse, Stephanie and all the rest there just naming a few. Very clean very nice seemed so concerned and helpful. Great atmosphere

I liked the facility. But we were promised that she would see a doctor on site each month. That never happened. Mom ended up in the emergency room a couple of times due to mismanagement of her meds. The nursing staff was great. Management not so much. And they didn't handle her transition to hospice the way they promised. I had to intervene a few different times.

This place has been such a great place for my mom with dementia. They make sure she is well taken care of. So thankful for all the staff who go above and beyond for their residents.

Bluegrass is a very nice senior home. They seem to do a really good job with my Mother n law..she is in the Memory Care part there. The workers are very friendly and always willing to help… I would have to recommend this facility for a loved one.

Bluegrass Senior Living has been an answer to our need for someone to take good care of my mother who has dementia and she had become too dangerous to stay at home with myself 24/7. Thankfully, the doctor nearby their facility took my Mom on as a patient and the facility was very patient in waiting for the doctor and hospital to get my Mom on the right meds so, she wasn’t violent any longer with their staff and other patients. They’ve been loving and kind to the patients, including my Mom, every time we have been there to visit. My Mom and others seem to enjoy interacting with the staff and other patients like themselves. The facility is rather new and impeccably clean. We did have a short stent of my Mom’s accidents not getting taken care of quickly enough but, they have worked out that issue and a friend has been doing random spot checks and they’ve been great ever since they lined things out. Also, I wanted to let others know that the facility provides a Fall Festival for the patients and family to get together and enjoy a meal and games together. They also had a great Christmas Dinner for the families (limit of 2 per patient unless more needed). They really made the Christmas time a day or two in advance, a very special time for everyone. One last tidbit of info, they have an activity fund you can keep on hand money for and the patient can go on usually a once a month outing to things like a restaurant with a group of patients or for a joy ride depending on the weather. I’m so glad for their taking such good care of my Mom and the others similar to herself. I highly recommend this facility and it is definitely an answer to prayer!!!🙏🏼😍😃

There wasn't anything that I disliked about Bluegrass Senior Living. They were very nice, clean, and very well maintained. The staff was very nice and very informative. They were just like studio rooms that I looked at. It was very warm and cozy. The dining area looked better than most sit-down restaurants.

At 🎄 Christmas we were able to have a family dinner in the small dining room. The food was delicious. Great care had gone in the thought and preparation of it. It gave mom and her kids the feeling of one of the many holiday dinners we have had at her house. They also had a fall festival with a meal, outside seating with a talented lady who sang and played her keyboard. People were really getting the selections and singing along to some. Very sincere appreciation to Bluegrass and the employees who treat our family members so well with kindness.

My mother just turned 100 and loves living here. The entire staff are really amazing from the administration, activities director, nurses, kitchen staff, maintenance workers, etc. They are friendly, warm, thoughtful, and genuinely work very hard to show the residents that they are valued and important! I feel very confident knowing my mother is being looked after in the best place in Kentucky!!

If Sam still runs the place watch your wife he is known for his affairs.

I go down there to see a friend of mine and it’s always very clean and the patients always seem very happy and very well taken care of. Great staff, ALWAYS very friendly. The staff really interact with the patients and doing activities with them . Environment always seem great .

This was a very nice and clean community. The room was too small for what we wanted for our loved one.

Bluegrass Senior Living is very new and very clean. We like the program. That's probably the one that we're probably going to choose. It's very modern. It looks like a luxury hotel. It's only open for a couple of years, and it's very nice. The lady that gave us the tour was very nice and very considerate. They know what they're doing. They basically showed us the type of room that Mom would get and where she would eat. There were two different places where they can gather and where we can meet with Mom as well. One of them is a little more private, the one in front of the fireplace. All the doors have key codes that you have to use to get out. It's very secure. They had a good-sized staff and doctors. They seemed to have a very good program there. The room is nice. It's got room for probably a queen-size bed, and Mom sleeps in a twin. It's got a television and a thermostat, which is nice because she loves to keep it hot. It will be an empty room so we can put her bed, her favorite rocking chair, and some of her prints on the wall. It's a good-sized room. Probably we could even put a little sofa in there as well. The bathroom was rather large with a walk-in shower with a seat. There was a pull cord in the shower itself and by the bed if my mom ever needs help. We also talked about putting a bed alarm on her bed because she gets up often. Whenever she gets up, depending on her mental state, she might need assistance or not. They agreed to do that. It was a nice room. We were all very impressed.

Staff goes above and beyond. Fun, entertaining and proud of the environment. It is easy to see that everyone is working hard to accomplish the mission of providing a great living community for the residents. Residents come first and their needs are always being met with love and kindness.

My dad lives there and these people go above and beyond to make him happy. They care so much about him and his well being, the meals are amazing and the place is so clean and aesthetically pleasing, there is a nurse on site at all times and the activities are so many to choose from. These people care and are here to help you feel at ease when you have to make that tough decision on where to place your loved ones when it's hard for them to take care of themselves. These people CARE!

Love the care that our mother gets. She’s happy and we have the assurance that’s she’s being adequately cared for. Mom stays busy and has made many friends. The facility is always very clean and appealing

We had a great tour experience with Bluegrass Senior Living. It was a very nice facility but it just did not has the same energy that we were looking for, it was a little dark.

This is the best place in Somerset for personal care and for those with Alzheimer's. The nurses and aides are very caring and genuinely love the residents. The food is great with a variety to choose from. The facility is clean and is well maintained. I would recommend Bluegrass Senior Living to anyone!

My father is a resident of Bluegrass Senior Living. The entire staff is very attentive to his needs and he’s happy living there. We know he’s well taken care of and we don’t have to worry about him like we did when he lived alone.

Bluegrass Senior Living is a great blessing! My mother-in-law has resided there for one year. She loves all the activities and fellowship! We tease her about having a better social life than we do! The staff is caring and compassionate. The facility is beautiful and clean. The administrative staff takes time and interest to listen to the residents concerns and needs. We did not have a good experience with Bluegrass. Her quality of care was awful while she was here. She left with a huge bed sore that we are still dealing with. I would never recommend anyone put a loved one here.

The staff at Bluegrass Senior Living have all beEn so friendly and helpful as we moved our mom to their new facility during the hectic Christmas season.

This was my first visit to see my Dad who is a resident here. The facility is beautiful and very well maintained, even more important I was very happy with how friendly and caring all the staff was.

I visited my friend at Bluegrass Senior Living. I think that for people that are at the level of care as my friend, it would be a good place. The layout is very nice. They're short-staffed, just like everybody else. They have the same problems that every place else has. I think that the staff members were friendly and professional.

Everyone can understand how difficult it can be to place a loved one into a memory care facility, such as Bluegrass Senior Living. These folks have certainly taken the sting out of that for our family. Wonderful staff, new and clean facility, transparent information sharing and one on one personal care that you aren't likely to get with any other facility of this kind. Well managed and staffed by seasoned professionals. So pleased we choose them for our loved one.

Bluegrass Senior living is a new and modern senior living/memory care facility. I try to visit my mother as much as possible and always find it clean and the staff seem to be friendly as well. I feel Mom gets good care there.

The community is very accommodating with my loved one and getting them situated into the community. The communication is very good with the family and the staff. They recently switched directors and it is still upbeat here. There are small refrigerators available in the rooms for the residents to keep snacks in.

Place is kept spotless clean Management keeps you informed on how patient is doing daily. Employee’s Are always willing to help in anyway Possible.

We love it. My loved one is happy here, and has more friends now than before. The staff are wonderful to work with, friendly, helpful, and accommodating with the family and residents. The staff are willing to assist my loved one with their food choices.
