My Dad spent two months in this facility he entered with Dementia and was not evaluated properly for his care. His assigned room was nice. My father and other residents I spoke with complained about the food being cold. The staff that provided the day to .day care were great. My family called Keri Young the director several times left messages by voice mail and with staff. She never responded to any of our calls. Due your due diligence when selecting where to place your loved one’s.

My father was in the memory unit for a short period of time but they treated him like he was family. The place is clean and all of the staff are wonderful so if you are looking for a place for your loved one to be cared for this place is the one.

Today was my first time to visit the facility, but the people did such a great job of explaining who they are and what they offer. So very thankful to have found a place for my mom (who suffers with dementia) to feel safe and welcome.

My mom has lived at Bluegrass Way Senior Living for almost four years. It is a lovely facility where she has her own apartment with a den, bedroom, bathroom, and screened in porch. She furnished it with her furniture from her home, so if you need assisted living, it’s the next best place to home. The Director and all staff are kind and caring people that make my mom feel cared for and appreciated. There are lots of activities and devotions that help to keep my mom active and stimulate her mind. My family feels that Bluegrass Way is a blessing to our community, and we are very grateful for its existence!

Very kind, caring staff. Takes extra time to make everyone feel comfortable and takes particular attention to health and medical concerns. Excellent food and amenities. Everything always kept clean and in order. The residents are listened to and cared for.

Facility is always clean and looks neat. The coordinator on the Memory Care unit is knowledgeable within the nursing field. She takes great care of her residents and puts everyone’s needs before her own.

My mother lived here for three years. Her apartment was spacious, especially the closet and bathroom. My mom loved her time here and enjoyed the activities. The housekeeping team did an excellent job cleaning. Mark and Connie do a great job with activities and have sweet, caring personalities. The director, Margaret Parson was always helpful with handling any questions or issues we had. All the staff handing out meds, etc. were genuinely interested and sweet to my mom. The only reason I moved her was to be closer to family in another state.

My mother moved into her apartment earlier this year and we couldn't be more pleased! It is definitely her home, not just a "room" she stays in. The staff are very helpful and have the best attitude, making it a wonderful atmosphere. Knowing she has help available 24/7 allows us to feel good about her safety, while still maintaining her highest possible level of independence. Any concerns or questions we have are immediately addressed.
