Boyd Nursing and Rehabilitation

My husband has to come here for rehab and they were amazing!

The facility is so nice and clean and always welcoming with smiling faces. The staff truly care about their residents and making them happy in their home away from home.

The facility is very clean. The employees are top notch. The care they showed my aunt was wonderful. They really do treat each client like family!! I recommend Boyd nursing and rehabilitation to any and all whom are looking for that perfect place for your loved ones!!!

Pictures are deceiving. Don't judge this place by the gorgeous pictures you see of outside, once you walk past administrative offices and through the double doors, it's a whole different disgusting world! My mother was there for 21 miserable days. They have a handful of great staff, the rest are just "on the work schedule" and present. My mother cared for herself, 9 times out of 10. The physical therapy team there are GREAT and did an exceptional job! That's the only good thing I have to say about this rathole of a facility. If you do have to come here PLEASE do your research first, go see the inside. Patch worked walls and half painted, broken TV's, etc. Housekeeping is hit and miss. I literally emptied the water they gave her on a Friday myself 5 days later that sat right on her nightstand. I waited to see how long they would leave it there. And PLEASE check on your loved ones daily, it's sad and depressing. Meals, if you love mashed potatoes you will hate them after leaving if you ever get to leave as it seems they are served twice daily with every meal. Apparently there are issues there too. Stale bread sandwiches? In my opinion, I don't understand how the state allows this place to operate.

We are very satisfied with the care our family member is getting. They keep us informed on every level and are very personal when speaking to us we have no worries and are so grateful that Boyd nursing and rehab is part of our family.

Excellent facility, my grand father was a previous resident and stayed about 3 months. The therapy and nursing departments were both great. Would definitely recommend.

Boyd nursing is a wonderful facility. I really enjoyed when I got to visit with my family. The staff was always wonderful and very attentive To my family member during their stay I can’t thank them enough for all their help and hard work. I highly recommend Boyd nursing home.

I don’t even want to give it one star. My friend went in there for some rehabilitation that she didn’t get. All she got was sepsis from all the infections she got in there. E.coli in her bladder. She apparently was not cleaned very well at all. She also had flu a for over a week & after that is when they found her unconscious from all the infection in her body & her fever were she laid there so long it’s possible caused her brain damage. She had to be put on a ventilator & now has since come off the ventilator thank god but has no movement in her arms & it’s hard for her to communicate. She is 47 yrs old. All she needed was some rehabilitation on her legs. All the people give it good ratings has to be fake. I’ve never heard anything good about this nursing home & now I know why. I hope & pray something is done about. Just think if this was one of your loved ones. Is this the treatment you want them to have!

I have many friends and family over the years and have known most of the staff for years. . The aides and nurses are dedicated team leaders who wil love your loved ones like their own….

Boyd County Nursing home is awesome! They go above and beyond for their residents, and the social service director Whitley is the best there is! No one can compete with her when it comes to ensuring quality care for family members, and she sets an excellent example of what a social service director should be! The nursing staff is amazing, and the CNA’s and Nurses really do care for the residents like their own family! The kitchen staff is always making sure all residents are satisfied with their meals and makes sure they put love in each meal! And house keeping always is working their best to keep the building, hallways, residents rooms, and community areas clean!

Whitley Griffith was a pleasure to work with and her smile was infectious!!!

Great staff that cares

My aunt was a resident here for a little while for rehab. The staff there was always very friendly. Every time I came through the front doors I was met with a smile and the nurses were also very friendly. The nurses there were very knowledgeable, which made me believe that it was the right choice in the placement for her rehab. Every time I had a question they usually had the answer or if they did not know the answer the next time I visited which was usually everyday to at least every other day they would usually have the answer for me.

Wonderful caring team

Have had nothing but great experiences at Boyd, 2 family members spent there last days under their care and couldn’t ask for better staff. They are very understanding and comforting to both the patient and the family during these tough times. The staff is close knit and work well together and they have excellent communications with each other as well as the family. I highly recommend this facility to anyone needing assistance taking care of their loved ones. They care for your loved one as you would at home, i have nothing but good things to say about this facility and its staff! Great work Boyd Nursing and Rehabilitation, God bless you each and every one!

The rehab team here at Boyd works well together and has a great time in the gym with our residents!!

Great facility to bring a loved one in during a time of need for rehab or for long term care. The staff works as a team to ensure the residents are cared for.

The one over housekeeping needs to be replaced entirely by someone else more professional in every way possible. My reason for saying that is a working manager is supposed to work with their crew as well as have a positive attitude towards their employees and future employees. Because the person over their housekeeping doesn't have a personality or people skills and poor work ethics.

My mom has been a rehab resident at Boyd 3 times and was able to go home stronger and healthier each time. She is now living independently thanks to the Rehabilitation staff and nursing staff.

This is a great center. I have appreciated their care and attention to detail. They are a small tight-knit center and you can tell they really care about the people who live there.

They need to hire a lot more srna they do not have enough help from morning to evening someone will get hurt if they do not get more help this one she was so rude she had long black hair.
