This is J.M. and I am a resident here. I enjoy getting to know the residents and workers here. The treatment I receive here is good. Everyone treats me nice. I feel they have good programs here. To me it seems they are really interested in the residents. Physical Therapy is really good, and the Nursing staff treat me real good. J.M.

Such a clean and friendly place!

My mother went in for rehab after hip break. She is no better than when she went in. Terrible physical therapy program, barely got her out of bed. It’s very sad there is no organization or management of staff. Do better

The rooms here are clean and the food is good. The staff is professional and friendly. The staff to me, will go out of their way to make sure your loved one is taken care of. I take care of my brother who has been here twice for care, and I am happy with all they have provided. He has been included in so many activities and really enjoyed himself.

Excellent nursing and management team!

I'm giving the nursing side a "3"and the therapy a "5". I throughly enjoyed my rehab sessions. Very lucky to have had Kayla, ensuring my rehabilitation. The whole therapy department worked well together, encouraging each of us. I would recommend this PT rehab to everyone. Now, the nursing side. Most everyone was nice and compassionate. I, as well as my roommate, had difficulties with dietary. I had problems getting dressings changed. Orders weren't passed on in report . I would only go back for therapy. If my friends or family were placed there, I would stay with them as much as possible. Social. Services was a huge help navigating my discharge needs.

Great place, great care, pleasant staff.

Please, those of you posting about the huskys and Brittany, can you remove them? She hasn’t worked there for a long time. Her FB info page has not been updated. It’s so unfair for the staff that work there now to be marked down. The staff are compassionate and truly want the best for the residents.

The staff is very compassionate and caring.

My aunt was very well taken care of at Carter Nursing. We had a very smooth admission process & therapy was excellent. All of the staff were very friendly & she was very well taken care of. She was able to return home as we were hoping. I’d recommend Carter Nursing to anyone needing short or long term placement.

We toured the building and met with the staff while looking for a place for my mother to rehab. The facility was clean and well maintained, and the staff was extremely attentive to our needs and very friendly. My mother was well cared for during her stay!

Unspecified · October 2023

My cousin was a resident a few times and she was very well taken care of! Anytime she needed something they were there for her!

Compassionate caring team

this is the worst nursing i have ever walked into the place smells bad most of the staff is friendly however i ran into some very nasty employees who treated me so bad that i will never go into that disgusting place again.

If I could give negative stars I would. If you love your family, please do not send them here. My mother was yelled at, cursed at, neglected, and treated just awful. The therapy team was great, the nursing side was terrible. They couldn’t “get her meds” so they borrowed them from other patients, using the phrase “borrowing from Peter to pay Paul.” They forgot her food tray more than once. They used the excuse of being understaffed, but that does not excuse neglect. Stop accepting patients if you can’t care for them. They leave patients who aren’t mentally stable basically naked with their doors open. Call lights will be on and the alarms going off to alert the nurses and they will be at their desk on their phone. This place is a joke and I sincerely hope they get closed down for good.

Only 2 poor ladies working the night shift for the entire place. They were running themselves ragged trying to get all residents changed and see to their needs. Housekeeping needs to have a night shift to clean. Rooms need swept and mopped. If you're short handed management needs to step up and help.

They really care about their residents. My mother has received good care here.

Trash

I worked on the assembly line. I filled the trays with condiments. I filled the line with condiments, put drinks in refrigerator filled dessert cart. I learned how to read the meal tickets. I put the trays on the push cart. I used all the equipment and used the dishwasher. Put dishes were they are supposed to go.

The nursing home was clean and the personnel friendly. The nursing home staff were very attentive and professional. I have never heard of a case of elderly neglect, or any other issue associated with this facility. The food, like most nursing homes, leaves a lot of room for improvement. I would definitely recommend this nursing home to others.

I loved the treatment this facility gives to my family members. All of the workers were nice and helped in any way possible. There were many activities daily that they do in order to work with the patients in their facility. They also had regular church services to those who wanted to attend. They made everyone feel like they were at home, not in a nursing home. Almost all the workers knew each and every patient by name, in which to me shows how much they care to learn this information. When the time came that my family got worse off they done whatever they could in order to make their last moments a great and comfy moment for them. I appreciate how nice all the staff was and I would recommend this facility to anyone who is looking for a caring staff to take care of their family. There was nothing that happened that I can think of that gave anything negative about this facility.
