Cedar Ridge Health Campus

UPDATE: My father has since moved into Cedar Ridge and has had exceptional care. He once needed the Health Center wing after surgery, and then moved to the Assisted Living section when his medical needs were still present but not as acute. They coordinated his therapies as he improved. He was ultimately able to return home, but years later, he and his wife returned to live at Cedar Ridge's Assisted Living as a residence. We felt confidence in their ability to care for our parents. Sure, he may grumble about the menu at times, but overall his care has been attentive, warm and appropriate. Missy Wiggins, LPN ensures that the entire unit is safe and well cared for. She has intervened and assisted when they have had some issues, and we have never felt safer about their care. A relative needed a move to the Memory Lane wing, and ultimately entered hospice while there. What a peaceful, considerate and safe unit. The staff is patient and kind, residents are very well cared for in an individualized way. Cedar Ridge is like "Cheers:" Taking a break from all your worries Sure would help a lot Wouldn't you like to get away?.... Sometimes you wanna go Where everybody knows your name And they're always glad you came" You are not a dollar sign or a bother at Cedar Ridge. You are FAMILY. ________________________ Previous: The Assisted Living care is so excellent, and compassionate, that I would live here myself in a heartbeat. I have seen many care settings through my career, and CR Cynthiana is among the top. My grandmother resided there for 5 years and staff cared for her better than most would care for their own family. She felt safe, loved and happy. She always had help whenever she needed it. I cannot think of enough compliments to adequately capture how fortunate we have been to have this facility and its staff in our lives over the years.

Cedar Ridge has, by far, has exceeded my expectations when it comes to taking care of mom in Assisted Living. The hugs, kisses and kind words never go unnoticed and I have such peace each and every time I arrive and leave the beautiful facility. The staff couldn’t make us feel more like family. In fact, I told my brother as we were leaving the other day, that we are going to be very, very sad when the day comes when we no longer have our visits with mom at Cedar Ridge because I love and have great respect for the entire staff. THEY ARE THE ABSOLUTE BEST!💕

Excellent place for care and rehab

Cedar Ridge Health Campus was very on top of things. They put their patients first and foremost. The staff was very open and forthcoming. They're welcoming to family members such as myself. They do try to provide plenty of activities that are suitable for the degrees of care that they deal with. Their food was healthful and tasty. I didn't think they use a lot of spices, which I think is appropriate for their clientele. There was a good variety and plenty of it. They were very consistent in maintaining high standards. They seem to be on top of things, technology-wise, like the infrared lamps and stuff that they use to disinfect, so on and so forth.

Residents seem happy there.

I went to Cedar Ridge Health Campus. Their assisted living will not do your insurance; you have to pay for it. It was a bit more expensive than some of the others, but they offered a little bit more. They were all private rooms, and each room had its own little kitchenette. There wasn't any stove, but it had a microwave, a small refrigerator, a television, and you could bring your own furniture in. It's a brand new building, so it was very nice. They had group eating, and they offered services where they would supervise your meds if needed, and you could have a car there and you'd be allowed to sign out if you wanted to go out. They gave me a loaf of bread that they made there, and it was delicious. The residents were eating when I was being shown around, and they seemed very friendly and they all had smiles on their faces. Everybody knew everybody.

Residents to staffing ratios.

This is a beautiful campus. The staff have become like family. I appreciate all they do and getting to know the other residents and their families.

The management at this community are very well trained. They all help in the community with the rest of the caregiving staff. The staff are nice and helpful. They offer a variety of daily activities. The community is clean and the food is pretty good. I would recommend this community.

This was a nice place. Trilogy does a very nice job, and this is a Trilogy place. They have good food here. They are a little expensive, but very nice.

Overall, Cedar Ridge was literally a blessing for my family. We were not able to care for my mother in law and they treated her like family. The facility is in a rural part of Kentucky and everyone there was so friendly and down to earth. She had a stroke in the end and one of her nurses went the same night to visit her in the hospital, on her own time because she cared, that was very touching. Alzheimers disease is so difficult on the family and the nurses were so kind and compassionate on how to deal with new situations or tough times. During our entire time there, we only had a negative experience with one administrator, but it was handles in a timely and professional manner by the director. I would recommend this facility for absolutely anyone. We had numerous options closer to our home, but we chose this one an hour away due to the people and the facility itself.
