Reviews
for Celebration Villa of Summit Hills
Celebration Villa of Summit Hills has a caring and helpful staff. They are very friendly too. The room sizes and amenities offered are good.
Celebration Villa Of Summit Hills has taken a lot of worry off of me. My family member lives as though they are on their own, but help is just moments away if needed. The food is good, and all of the staff are friendly and helpful. I would recommend them highly.
This is my 40th year working in long term care. Celebration Villa of Summit Hills is a wonderful place to work. I am blessed to work in a community where you are valued and supported. Residents and staff are like family as they truly care for each other. The management and PLC team work together for the betterment of the residents. I highly recommend Celebration Villa of Summit Hills for anyone who is searching for senior living in Kentucky.
My sister and I were going through a difficult time with our father. We were trying to find a safe and affordable place for him to live that also provided memory care. We were very fortunate to find Celebration Villa, which has been wonderful to us.
All 5 stars! We were very pleased with the experience at Celebration Villa of Summit Hills. [name removed] was very helpful and all residents and staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Celebration Villa of Summit Hills is a home away from home for me . The residents here are like my extended family. I come to work each day knowing I will be greeted by wonderful residents and caring staff.
I have worked at multiple assisted living communities over the past few years, and I can confidently say that Celebration Villa is an amazing establishment! All of the staff treat residents like their own family, it’s amazing to see how much my coworkers care! I’ve never seen an assisted living community so hands on and compassionate. :) I am proud to work here and honored to be a guest in the residents’ home!
They get all 5 stars! My brother toured the facility a few months before the move and was really impressed. Then we received a notice they were having a special in pricing for new residents and that helped with the decision. All the staff were very kind and helpful going beyond our expectations.
I had an in-person tour of Celebration Villa of Summit Hills. I liked that it had nice views. The windows were very large. The rooms were very light and airy. The person who gave us the tour was very interested in our situation and in making sure that it was a good fit for us. He was very kind, showed us quite a few options, and let us take pictures. It was great. I liked him a lot. They have kitchenettes that would allow our mom to make meals or snacks as she wanted. However, it supplies three meals per day with options, so it would be like ordering off of a menu. I also like that they pick up the trash every day. The rooms are cleaned, and the linens are refreshed every week. They offer a laundry service every week for a small fee, or my mom could do her own laundry just on the same floor as her room.
I toured the Celebration Villa of Summit Hills. The place was immaculate. The place was awesome. Marvin just went above and beyond trying to help us out for my sister. I would give him all the credit, I really would. He was fantastic. I know they're separate apartments and things like that, but there weren't people like just being in their wheelchairs out in the hall. It's just no smell. It smelled very clean. The grounds were kept beautiful.
Senior tour was a great experience
The caring staff and management team makes a perfect place for senior living.
I toured the Celebration Villa of Summit Hills. I like that it's convenient for my children. I like the dining room. I like the people that I met, they are wonderful caregivers. I like the size of the room. I like the location. The cleanliness was great and they took good care of it. Everybody was very friendly and nice.
Although they claim the staff is trained, many of them do not know how to handle those with anything but a quiet, non-communicatung resident. Beyond that they are not qualified. A nurse or upper management is only there from 7:30-4:30. No one qualified to make any decisions or observations that would help determining if critical or not. Overheard aid conversations that were not appropriate with people outside the building in regard to residents. My comments apply to resident care staff. Upper management was quite accommodating and caring
All of the workers are wonderful and very kind. Residents do not seem to be happy with the food, but I am sure they are doin the best that they can.
My father loves it here and thinks of it as his new home. The staff is friendly and very responsive. Often, they go above and beyond to assist. They all know my Dad by name and he thinks of them as friends. The whole place feels "homey" and not overly medical or institutional. We've visited newer facilities but my Dad loves the people here. Also very veteran friendly.
Don't even waste your time if your loved one with dementia has ANY behavioral issues, like people with dementia have. They won't accept them then. People like that deserve care too. Made us wait 5 days to be told whether they'd accept my loved one or not-- even though it was already documented in the hospital's chart they wouldn't accept him they day after we visited.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. The facility is clean and well maintained. The move in process was easy. The meals are okay. Could improve on the variety of meals. I do recommend Celebration Villa.
She liked that it was smaller in size than the others we toured. She also liked that the shower didn't have a big step in ledge. It was also the brightest. They also had a special offer if you signed paperwork before the end of July.
Everything at the Celebration Villa of Summit Hills community has so far exceeded our expectations. The staff members, their quality of care they give to the residents, the meals that are prepared and the different activities that are offered.....we just like everything!
My experience with Celebration Villa of Summit Hills has been very good. I've been here the longest, and I prefer to stay because they're very helpful. It's nice and clean. You have three meals a day that are good. So, I'm very pleased with it. The staff is excellent. They're right there for you and they're always friendly. We have three meals a day. We have menus at the tables when we go. We have a very nice dining room and the food is very good. There is a library, an activity room, an exercise room, a beauty shop, and a nurse. So, there's everything available for you. They'll have bingo or games and I think, today, they're having a trip to some log cabin in the area. They always have activities going on that you can participate in. They give you the time. They put a sheet out every day. So it's very, very convenient. The food is always good. Sometimes it's not prepared as what we would do at home, but it's nursing home food so it's good for you. They're here daily to clean your room. If you need them, they'll make your bed for you and do anything you ask. I just had a cleaning lady leave just a few minutes ago. They're here every day to pick up or clean or if something's broken, you need a work order and they're there the same day to fix it. It's very expensive, but they all are.
I am a Physical Therapist who has been seeing patients at Celebration Villa for about a year now. I have gotten to know the staff very well since we often collaborate to care for the residents. The whole staff including the caregivers, maintenance team, activity directors, and management have been top notch. Regardless of their role, everyone cares deeply for the residents and works very hard to provide them with the best experience possible. Any time a patient of mine is interested in moving to a senior living facility, I always recommend Celebration Villa.
Great assisted living facility. I had a chance to meet Marvin who was welcoming and kind. Staff was great and very experienced. Gem of an establishment.
Enjoyed touring with Marvin. All the staff are very kind and residents are happy.
Marvin, Terri and the team do a great job taking care of the residents!
Celebration Life is a perfect fit for my Dad. All the staff makes an effort to know the residents and interact with them. They are cheerful, positive and truly care about each resident. There are plenty of activities daily .

It would have been a great place but at the time that I toured they did not have any openings.
We have had a great experience with memory care at Celebration Villa of Summit Hills. Friendly, caring staff. Clean facility. And specific staff to organize activities.
We picked this community because of the location, and cost of living. It's very clean, great staff and comfortable living environment. I would recommend to other families.
Summit Hills has quickly become my home away from home. Having worked here for under a year now as Activity Director in Memory Care, I notice the residents and staff are filled with compassion and dedication to their community and are always willing to help others. If you are thinking of choosing Celebration Villa for you or your loved ones home, you won't regret it.
Staff turnover rate is extremely high. Additional fees are added on for some activities (we were told it's all included). Something also to note is they are about to change management companies. Still waiting to find out what that means for the residents.
I have been very satisfied with our experience. My loved one has felt very cared for and the community has been very welcoming and accepting. The staff communication has been good with the family, if we have questions or concerns about our loved one. The community is quick to respond with an answer, if they don't know the answer immediately. There are three meals a day served to the residents, and they have choices to choose from for the next day's meals.
Our family had experience with Atria and it did not meet the expectations and it just felt dark and dingy
In the beginning, it was a really good choice for my loved one. When she first moved in, she really needed the services. But as she progressed, I felt like they were kind of holding her back to keep her there. The staff were all very nice though. The apartment was small, but it was clean and nice.
I love Atria. Staff is very professional and caring. Residents are a very cohesive group. We care immensely about each other. Food is good. Housekeeping and laundry service is also good ! It is a very good match for me !
There are no nurses on staff and I felt like anyone could walk right in to the community. One of the memory care rooms had a unpleasant smell to it.
We put my aunt in there why we were on vacation and they were super nice even though she didn't want to go she enjoyed herself through. She said the food was excellent and Stacy and Casey that works there was really nice to her she liked them.
It is a very nice facility. They had a nice board of activities. The rooms were very nice. Everything was clean. The director that took us around couldn't have been any nicer. We liked her. She was very helpful and knowledgeable. They showed us the back patio. They had a nice front porch and chairs out there. Their back had like a fire pit, and the grounds were nice.
Our family had an in person tour and it was a really great experience but the price was just to high for our loved one
I really liked this community and if I needed to go somewhere this is where I would want to be at. I got a chance to meet the Chef and he came from a very good restaurant that closed due to Covid. The only thing with this community is that there was an extra fee for any medications being administered to the residents. They also could only do pills and not insulin.
Did business there !
Summit Hills is a beautiful community nestled in Crestview Hills close to the hospital, eye doctors, specialists, etc.! When you walk in there's a warm cozy community feel. I've worked here as the Business Director since 2019, we have a great team of friendly staff members who build lasting friendships with our residents. I would recommend Summit Hills to my friends, family and YOUR familly.
I have worked here for a year and a half. We have a great staff that genuinely care about our residents and want to meet their needs. Those that call this home make this such an enjoyable place to work.
It looks like the social things are great. But it is lacking on any kind of medical assistance that might be needed. The staff are very accessible and friendly though. And it's a beautiful facility.
Everyone has been very helpful despite that they have been understaffed.
I would recommend the memory unit. The director [name removed] is very competent and nice to work with. In the memory unit so far have observed that there are not many things to do with activities. The meals are excellent and the staff are always helpful and nice.
Helpful and friendly staff, and residents. I am very happy here.
Iv'e lived here for 10 years and really love it here. I enjoy the variety of events and delicious food. The staff is like family and we have fun together.
