My favorite place to take care of people. We truly enjoy what we do.

Unspecified · April 2025

Horrible place, all they do is over medicate their patients so they don't have to deal with them. The nighttime "doctor " Lester and that's a stretch comes in and medicate his patients and doesn't ever see them again. Place needs to be shut down. Truly a Horrible experience. Get your loved ones out of there and go somewhere else.

Most horrible experience I have ever been thru. Horrible staff, horrible care, rude staff, bed that was 100 years old, literally, did not work, had no help getting to restroom with my broken hip, I had to phone home to put someone on hold , so of I didn't make it to restroom on my own. Got skipped on dinner at least one night. Never answered the call light, don't even have intercom in room. Horrible horrible place, don't let them fool you, I would not leave my dog for care in this place. I never got my meds when needed, wàs told they have to order it every day, that they don't keep on premises, and guess what it comes from Tennessee, if u want your loved ones to suffer, just take them here, I promise u they will suffer, john Coates posted as well and yes they love to yell at patients and slam doors, never had ice in water, couldn't even get coffee, I could go on and on, if u want to know more, message me on Facebook, would love to sue this place. My stay was in September 2025, I have no ideal why anyone would give a good review on this place, they have to be fake reviews. People read the bad ones 1st.

Thank you Gerri for all you do!

I was there as a Nursing clinical instructor and the staff there was great! Welcoming to both the students and myself. The residents seemed to appreciate the extra attention spent with them.

Great facility..from nursing, dietary, therapy, activities , maintenance.. overall a awesome place

Unspecified · October 2024

Beautiful facility. Friendly staff ,over all a great place would recommend 😊

Unspecified · October 2024

The staff I encountered at this facility was friendly and professional. I also really appreciate their holiday events that include friends and family.

Unspecified · October 2024

What a wonderful place. My stepdad was there for rehab. I was very pleased with the care. From the nursing staff to the dietary staff…I highly recommend this facility.

Unspecified · October 2024

This facility is so beautiful and the staff are very helpful- everyone goes above and beyond to meet the needs of the patients and I would recommend it 100 percent!!

Unspecified · October 2024

This facility is beautiful. It is around the Cherokee Park area. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The residents there looked happy to be at this facility.

Unspecified · October 2024

Great staff! They are very attentive and caring for the residents there. They have done activities and fun stuff that I believe is great for the residents.

I don’t have much experience with places like this at all, there are probably worse places by far ,but I wouldn’t recommend this place to a enemy much less a friend.I give credit to where credit is due,the physical therapy team is a fantastic group of people and wish the rest of the place had their standards. The food is absolutely disgusting, jail food would be an improvement. The place is dirty, first thing I noticed was someone’s blood on the wall and the disgusting toilet and feces on the wall. Some of the employees were exceptionally wonderful ,but the ones that weren’t should not be in this line of work. Some of the nurses would slam the doors, curse ,mumble under their breath and refused to answer questions and could care less if you live or die.The management are liars and the social worker is maybe the rudest of them all.Thankfully we found a fantastic place to go with great food, nice caring people and a great staff.

Beautiful building and wonderful staff Cherokee Park is a great facility. I highly recommend!

MUST READ……… Horrible service. My wife’s grandmother is staying here for rehab. She is the one that has to tell the nurses when her iv fluids are do because no one cares. Sometimes they don’t bring her food, they give her tap water. Not recommended.

Unspecified · September 2024

Horrible service, my grandmother was in pain and they told her they ran out of painkillers. They give patients tap water which i think is nasty. Honestly dont bring your love one in here, they will suffer.

My Mother in law has been at CP now for about 8 months and we love it! The staff cares and they all strive to do their best for their residents/patients. There is always a smile and a hello from anyone I pass in the halls. Special shout out to Phoebe, Yani, and Nikki! They go above and beyond and it is very much appreciated!

So far I'm experiencing great and wonderful Christian blessing service entering people ❤️🙏🤗😉🙏🛐☦️✝️🌄🌅

Some of the staff doesn’t need to working there. I had one to tell me she didn’t have patience with my sister. When we would ask questions they didn’t know anything. Ms. Gerri was an angel.

Unspecified · February 2024

This place is horrible - no one is at the front desk and they try to bill you for services not received. When you call to discuss your invoice ($1000), no one answers - you get the run-around. I even provided a favorable decision from an Appeals Judge confirming that Humana (who kicked mom out of the facility) should have paid for my mom's stay - I had to slide this under the door of the Business Office at Cherokee Park rehab since the supposed manager doesn't come to work or return phone calls. Pitiful. And the staff (what staff?) don't even care.

Unspecified · November 2023

Over the years I have been to many skilled nursing rehab facilities with my mother. We had never gone to Cherokee before, but I am so grateful we did this last time. The staff was extremely caring and contentious. They went above and beyond to treat my mother on both physical and emotional levels. So much of recovery is based on having the right mentality coupled with PT and OT. It’s above obvious that the staff at Cherokee knows this. They even helped my mom plan a little birthday party for me since she would be there on my birthday! I cannot say enough good things about my mother’s experience at Cherokee. It’s rare to find a staff this involved many fields, but Cherokee has clearly created a culture that truly puts the patients first. I am so grateful to them!

Cherokee Park Rehabilitation provides a positive experience which is why I am giving the facility 5 stars. The majority of the staff demonstrate a genuine commitment to resident care. There is a friendly atmosphere throughout the facility. A diverse range of therapy and activities are available that promote both physical and mental well-being. I felt comfortable and cared for throughout my stay. I would like to give a special appreciation to Geri, Candace, Lucii, Jerrica, Tina, Katie, and Stephanie F., along with many others; all of whom went out of their way to help me and made sure that I was making progress throughout my stay. While there is always room for improvement, Cherokee Park Rehabilitation is a solid choice for those seeking quality rehabilitation and care.

These people are thief’s , they steal from the patients. Stole the food we bought for a resident. They have stolen make up, lotion, and many other things. Do not trust these people

Unspecified · October 2023

What truly sets Cherokee Park Rehabilitation apart is our holistic approach to rehabilitation. We don't just focus on the physical aspects of recovery; we also emphasize the emotional and psychological well-being of their patients.

Unspecified · October 2023

The staff at Cherokee Park Rehabilitation are exceptional. They are not just knowledgeable and skilled, but they are also incredibly compassionate and caring. It's clear that they have a genuine commitment to the well-being of their patients.

I recently spent a couple months in the rehab unit. I was in terrible shape, broken foot and arm. The nursing department, the housekeeping department and therapy were all great. I would recommend this facility to everyone! From Chris to Charlotte, Shelita, Danny, Sydney, in nursing the activity people checking with me daily with what was going on and the excellent therapy ..Taylor Ben Hayley Jose Alex Gabby who were amazing. Thank you

I really enjoy the comfort of Cherokee Park Nursing. When choosing a place for my mom it was very difficult, but Mrs. Gerri made me feel comfortable when making this decision. My mom absolutely enjoys it here. If I could change anything it would be some remodeling

Such a beautiful facility and staff is amazing

Unspecified · September 2022

My stepfather was there 2-3 months, during his stay the staff was amazing even through his difficult moods at times. The staff cared for him and treated all of us like family. At the end they worked perfectly with hospice and left us all 100% impressed. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️.

I was there last years for a month, June 8, 2018, and I loved it, the Rehab was great, now there was a nurse that was very rude and I requested that she never be my nurses, unfortunately, there are bad employees that give employers a bad look. I can say, Mrs Jerri is the best, Roger my therapist, got on my nerves sometimes, because he was strict, no nonsense, which, was really good for me and my recovery. Give this place a try, it’s beautiful, and they truly care about your recovery

I unfortunately was stuck in this hell for 6 months after I had an aneurysm pop. Doesn't make any sense to atick a 41 year old with people who are 60+ in age.

Unspecified · August 2021

I've been at Cherokee Park Rehabilitation six, eight, or even ten times over the last five-to-six years, but my insurance company said I didn't need that level of care anymore. It was founded in the early 1950s as a nursing home for elderly people of Jewish decent. They call it a rehab facility, and they also have long-term nursing-facility care that runs separately. I was in the rehab part. I've been there a number of times, and I've seen three different owners, so I know a lot about their nursing care, administration, and other stuff. It's a beautiful facility. It had award-winning architecture and award-winning landscaping. Close to the building, there are lots of open, golf-course kind of manicured lawns, and it's next to a homestead-design city park. You could watch out your window and see deer feeding, other animals, and people walking their dogs. There were several kinds of atrium-like places and glass-enclosed rooms, so you don't get that sense of being closed in a building. You're really adjacent to a lot of beautiful open space. The staff was above average, but in my opinion, in how I was cared for, many of their staff were lacking in quality and performance. Some people, particularly in the aide category, they pretty much came to work and hid. These were some of the nurses during the weekend or evening shift, and they just stayed behind the nurse's desk and read books or did their own internet kind of business. However, they also had absolutely genuine, friendly people, nurses, and aides there. The facility was a jewel.

My Dad was just admitted yesterday so far everyone has been super helpful and has met all of our families needs.

Unspecified · September 2019

Staff was friendly the place was clean everything seemed to be in order

Unspecified · February 2019

I have never in all my life saw a nurse act the way one acted last night. So hateful and cruel. If you don’t have a passion for what u do, which is patient care then you should not be working with the ones who at the end of the day rely on the one caring for them. She was so unprofessional. If you let someone talk to a patient the way she spoke to my mother n law last night then I wouldn’t refer anyone to your facility. These people are sick and recovering from sicknesses and when someone the minute she walks in shows her she doesn’t care whatsoever because she has “32” other patients to deal with, I mean goes to show you she is not passionate about her job when she isn’t the only nurse in the world and that’s why there are medical assistants, cnas and others working in such place. I hope you take this review seriously and this lady in which 2 of your other nurses or assistants witnessed what she said to my mother in law, I hope she doesn’t just get a slap on the wrist and goes on about her day. She needs to be properly trained on how to care for patients or she shouldn’t be a nurse period. Even on the longest days you should never of the bat make a patient feel unwelcome. I wouldn’t refer a dog to even be in the care of this lady.

Beautiful facility. The picture doesn't do it justice.

Unspecified · July 2018

This center has had a tremendous turnaround from previous ownership. They have brought in new leadership and eliminated agency. Service is top notch.
