Reviews
for Christian Care Communities - Middletown
In February, I toured a garden apartment. We discussed the entrance fee, deposit and monthly maintenance. I asked that I be put on the waiting list on [date removed]. At that time I was told that the maintenance did not increase often or by that much. About [date removed], I called and we were talking about another apartment and the conversation went to the model I was interested in. The price had gone up 25%. I later wrote inquiring about the discrepancy between what I was told one month earlier. I never received a response. Concerned if prices are made up as they go along. There should be some accountability for what one says to a potential resident.
I toured Christian Care Communities - Middletown. The gentleman who showed me around was very helpful and pointed out a lot of things in the apartment that would be nice: a washer and dryer, a refrigerator with a freezer, and access to the bathrooms. There were two doors to each bathroom, and it was handicapped-accessible. It had the braces there to hold it in the bathroom. It was very nice.
We were attracted to them because of the I would recommend to others. They have wonderful caring staff, nice and friendly residents
Love the ground they are well kept with no trash to be pound spacious apt extra wide door ways. It is comforting knowing all I have to do is called and someone is there to help. Love the serenity and the peace of mind. I have found here!
I am very happy home and very satisfied with all it entitles!
Mom really likes the food that is served. The staff is very attentive and helpful. The director is easy to access and work with. This is a smaller assisted living facility which makes it better in my view.
Everyone is very friendly and professional. Always willing to go the extra mile! Most employee have been there a long time. Very clean; food is good too! Good Values.
Centrally located to Middletown and Louisville. Very nice complex and facilities. A very friendly staff.
Satisfied with facility. Love the woods and lawn care service. Neighbors are friendly and fun.
This is a safe, beautiful, and friendly community! It is truly a hidden gem. We are blessed to be here.
I have lived in this community for almost 20years. This is a lovely setting, with fountains in our small ponds and tree partially surrounding the property. I hope to be able to stay here for many more years.
Our only complaint is the constant goose dropping which cover the side walks and streets! You always have to watch where you walk. Hard for people using walkers! We desperately need to control the number of geese here!
We have been residents in Independent Living for a year and own experience has been very positive. On our daily walks through our community we feel safe. We have made many friends of out friendly, caring neighbors.
My parents moved to Christian Care Middletown several years ago and lived in one of the beautiful garden homes which they enjoyed very much. When my dad passed away, my mom moved to the assisted living where she has made wonderful friends and gave me peace of mind that she was being lovingly cared for 24 hours a day. We like that it's a small community and you can get to know many of the lovely people who live here. The staff is great and I'm so thankful to have my mom here!
The rooms are spacious and well kept. The care givers are attentive and friendly. They take the time to get to know the residents. It's a small community so it's easy for the residents to get to know each other. Everyone is very friendly. My mom says being there feels like a warm hug. The food is good and nutritious.
Rooms are very nice and good variety of different food at meals. The caregivers truly care about the residents in assisted living.
I went to Christian Care Communities - Middletown. The tour was very nice overall. I felt very welcomed. The room was very well kept. It was very nice. The staff was very knowledgeable. They had been working there for many years.
Christian Care Communities Middletown is the perfect fit for my loved one. It's a small and intimate facility. A larger facility with more activities would not have worked for her.
The facility is small and personal. Feels like a home not a business. The caregivers and residents are kind and make you feel welcome. The place is not fancy, but it is clean and functional. Communication is good and move in process was very easy. I would highly recommend this facility to others.
I like the financial arrangement. The maintenance, care taking, and the people who live here make a nice community.
The lawn care is great! Comparing our front entrance to other sr living communities is lacking (very stark, no flowers)/ We love the woods & path to church.
the community is friendly and nice, recently they have had some staffing issues though.
We moved dad to Christian Care Communities - Middletown because it seemed like the right place. So far, it's been fine. The staff is fine. They're really good. My dad likes the food, but I haven't tasted it myself. They have a courtyard. They have a place to sit outside, and there's a pavilion. Overall, the value for money is good. It's located close to stuff, and the cleanliness of the place is good.
This is a quiet but helpful community. Having come back to Louisville after a 5 year absence from the city, it is a peaceful and secure place where we are not threatened by illegal drug cartels. So far they have not bothered us, we are very happy to be living in this peaceful helpful community.
We find this community surprisingly quiet and apparently safe. There are communities in this city that are not quiet and not safe. We are content with our choice and recommend it to others.
We went with Christina Care Communities because of the location, cleanliness, and the overall appearance of the facility. There is no smell whatsoever when you walk in, it is SO clean. The apartment sizes are very adequate, the bathroom is large and it is really nice. They do have a good variety on the meu and she has been pleased with the food. She does not participate, but they have a lot of activities offered. I would recommend to others looking.
1. it is affordable. 2. it is a small, not overwhelming place. 3. friendly staff all around 4. friendly residents
this is a nice quiet community. the staff members are friendly, competent, and helpful. we like having our friends as neighbors.
I live independently in one of the garden homes in this community. I moved here in the [date removed] and have been totally pleased. everything I needed or wanted has been fulfilled here - safety, security, thorough maintenance, as well as a very caring staff. as it is nestled in the areas of Middletown, I have access to my bank, my church, restaurants, etc. this is my HOME! I'm grateful for it!
excellent leadership and management that encourages fellowship and promotes cleanliness and upkeep.
physical facility is good, needs some upgrading. very responsive to needs.
pleasant surroundings in semi-private location. convenient to doctors, restaurants, to groceries without being on any thorough fare. we walk to church, breakfast, other amenities when desired. within our well landscaped community we often see deer, birds, ducks and geese. there are two small lakes with a gazebo where we rest after walks and gather in the evening. active resident participation in social affairs.
I have lived in this community for 17 years. best decision I ever made. the management is very responsive and the upkeep of the property is great. I would recommend this to anyone.
I love living here. we are a cozy neighborhood surrounded by nature. everyone is very nice and friendly and cooperative. this is home to me for the rest of my life.
We went to Christian Care Communities - Middletown. It's a very nice place. The people are very, very nice, very helpful, but it's too expensive. They showed us a two bedroom. It was small, and that was in the main facility, and that's all they showed us. They had the kitchen staff. They had a game room, and medical assistance 24 hours a day if needed. It was very nice. The staff was great. The food smelled really good when we walked in.
We have been impressed with the care and the community for our loved one. I would encourage more activities and variety of them for the residents that are in the community and that want to participate in them. Also, more outside of the community activities would be a treat for the residents.
My mom has moved into Christian Care Communities - Middletown. Everyone there is very helpful. They take time to talk to you, and they take time to answer your questions. They sincerely care about the people who live there. The building is clean, it's safe, and well-maintained. I haven't tried the food, but my mom likes it. The meals are well balanced, and they're served three times a day. The only activity that my mother has been a part of since she's been there is she attends the church services they have on Wednesday and Sunday afternoons; she likes those.
Christian Care Communities - Middletown was very, very nice and very clean. The assisted care part of it where my mother-in-law would be there was only like 19 rooms, so it was completely separate from the other community or the rest of it. They had patio homes for independent living. So the care was very small but it's very clean and very nice. We met a couple of staff, and the manager there was very nice and understanding. She gave us the overall view about what's going on, and that they do church services. What we liked about it was that it was all on one level, so that's good. With all the stairs and elevators, we want to make sure that she wouldn't get lost going down the hall or anything. This place is smaller than the other ones I toured, it was all like just a large ranch. It's just a single floor, which made it nice because, in that way, we didn't have to worry about it. It was just like the East Wing and West Wing.
Meals and dining aren't included in the independent living area. I'm very happy here. The community is in a good area and I like it a lot. The shopping and hospitals are near by to the community. It is a very friendly community as well. The only drawback is the bedroom is small; however the house is good size.
I toured Louisville East, a Christian Care Community, and everything about them was perfect. I would highly recommend that someone take a tour of that place. Everything was all right there on the same level as her apartment would be. It is a very short distance to all the amenities. There were no elevators, and you just walk right in and you're there. The place is very new, modern, and up to date. The room that I looked at was move in ready. It was spotless. The painting was done. Everything was completely ready, and there was a lot of light. They have classes. They have a chapel right there for them, and they have a beauty salon. The staff is outstanding, and they were ready for me to be there. They were they were all set up and ready for it.
The staff is wonderful and really care about their residents. They treat them like family, which means so much!
The staff is super friendly and treats the residents like family. I couldn’t be happier with the care provided.
I am so happy to call this special place home. I can drive to nearby shopping and restaurants easily. I have made many new friends. The staff are friendly and helpful if I need anything.
My grandfather has been relaxing and enjoying the community. The meals are warm and fresh, he has people to socialize safely with, and we don’t have to worry about him living alone anymore.
Great place to live if you are in my shape. Great people that take if of you. Very nice rooms. No complaints. Bill Payne
My mother was fortunate to spend her final years as a resident of Village East! The dedicated staff always went the extra mile so that she had ALL her request addressed in a timely manner. From her initial acceptance as a resident till her final hours with us, she never regretted the wonderful atmosphere and friends she made while at Village East.
