Reviews
for Christian Health Center Louisville
If I could give Negative 100 stars I would. The Staff is some of the rudest you could possibly have. The rooms have no paint on walls, bed on the floor. The nurse, the aide they are so disrespectful to the patients. Slow and rude when you ask for anything. It's a disgrace the way they treat people with no dignity. Do not send your loved one to this place of hell.
Phones have been down to residents for months, when I questioned it... They blocked my phone number. I live out of town and no way short of traveling to check on the welfare of my mother. Maybe Adult Services can get some answers?
This place is horrible. My Father was there for 21 days. Found out they lied about want my Dad was doing. They said he was walking everyday, that was a lie. He wasn't eating much at all. They left him sitting in a chair for several hours, he was in a lot of pain. He had to call his Daughter to call the front desk to get them to put him back into the bed. That was messed up. Said he was eating great. That was another lie. Our daddy started losing a lot of weight in that nursing home. He couldn't even walk they said he was walking everyday no he wasn't. The day he was coming home he had a colostomy bag it was so full of poop, dried up poop, where they hadn't changed him in days. He also had a diaper rash they haven't been cleaning Daddy at all. They was going to send him home like this until we got the nurse to clean him up first. He was there for rehab they didn't do anything to help my Dad. All they did was lie to us. I don't recommend this place to anyone they ought to be ashamed of themselves.
I am only giving 1 star as I can't give 0. Do NOT take your loved one here. Attitudes abound from staff. Left hand does not know what the right is doing. Dirty. Smells strong of urine and feces. Did not provide my wife her Medications. Kept saying they didn't have a pharmacy on-site and they were coming. She was three days out of hip replacement. They provided no walker, fortunately she had her own cane. Care is substandard at best. Steer clear
They took great care of me and taking physical therapy was awesome.
Great group of people! Therapy is top notch, very engaging!
Smells real strong of urine
Christian Health Center Louisville has staff that truly care about the wellbeing and quality of life of the elders they provide care for. Staff are welcoming and show true teamwork to accomplish tasks and make the right decisions for the elders.
Want to give a special thank you to those working here and caring for my aunt. They are amazing.
It is wonderful to see such dedicated and compassionate people coming together to make positive changes in not only the care of our elders but to improve the quality of our elders lives ! Covid has impacted so many aspects in healthcare, finding the new “norm” has not been easy. Moving forward, it is exciting to see the staff coming together with the residents to build the new norm together!
My mother and another family member were in this nursing home for several years. They helped us with all of the Medicaid application process and made everything very easy during a difficult time. The care my family received was top notch. Staff can't always be in a good mood when doing that kind f work and I appreciated that they always took the time to check in with us about the care.

My friend was there for Rehab. They were changing food menus and very attentive to feedback about what he liked and did not like. The building is old but they made up for that with their staff. Tiffany on second shift was very attentive and helpful. They were very informative about what the bill would look like which helped with decision making about length of care.
This place is unorganized, you have alot of disrespectful and nice/nasty folks here. Starting from Ms. Sullivan the night shift supervisor. She is a example of us brown folks being racist against our own kind. Get a position and be disrespectful to be those she feels like is under her . I wouldn't trust a family member here if this is the behavior they are displaying..
This facility is not a good place to put your love ones or anyone because you put your family in here to be cared for not to be neglected some of these patients are in vulnerable positions some of them need frequent or constant help and this is not being giving to these patients they are not following the health guide of the statement that they give on their website if you are looking for a place for your love one research these facilities before you place them you want the best for your family member and you put trust in this care facility that they would do the right thing but not so it’s been too much going on in this facility I would never recommend this place
Please if you know any better do not put your Family or love ones in this Nursing Care Facility. I have wittiness Neglect from my love one, not being properly taken care of like they should..They have a lot of Volunteer people that comes in and try to take care of your love ones. They don’t care how they are treated. Make sure when you visit your love ones to check there body from head to toe for bed sores and Staff infection. Make sure you check to see if your love one is eating and not just having there tray put in there room and no one is feeding them. Please ask questions and show your concerns when it comes to your love ones.
I Graduated from Central High School in May 1985. Right away I started doing volunteer work at the Christian Health Center. Susan was the volunteers coordinator at the time, who got me started. She gave me a list of certain people to visit. I threw the list away and started visiting everyone. I would go in the rooms and talk with them, write letters for them, help feed them and read the Bible to them. I met wonderful Nursing Staff there. I got married in 2000 and moved to Atlanta GA. That is how my volunteer work ended. I went back to KY in 2002 to get my divorce and moved back to Atlanta GA. I love everyone there.
Lost/stole my father's personal belongings, their defense was "it never was there"
🗣️SHOUT OUT to Mary Lynn Spalding and STAFF♥️♥️🥰 for caring for my Mother and letting my family take pictures on Mother's Day 🌹
So proud of the Christian Health Center Team! Their tireless efforts to keep everyone safe during COVID 19 and now the excitement to open our doors to friends and family is a testament to healthcare heroes. Thank you for all that you do every day!
I thought since this place was in my community I would get quality care. However they allow Students to diagnose and proscribe patients without even looking at the risk. They push the hell out of drugs instead of actually providing or pushing risk reduction tactics. This place almost caused me to loose my life due to pushing a drug my body did not become receptive to. When I went to a real Doctor he asked who in the HELL proscribed you this mess? (His exact words) It was one of the student on the Shawnee base. You put these clinics in our community thinking they could make a change, only for them to possibly raise the mortality rate in the redlining areas. There are some good people there though...
I've given this place an opportunity to take care of business in house however I will be reporting to places they don't want me to report to. I only give this place a one star only because it won't allow me to do so with out a star so sad they need to do away with stars because this place of business has already been turned over to legal representatives for not complying estate regulations agreed to by the state & residents are NOT being cared for under THEIR STATUES°°
My family member was admitted with no history given. The staff are rude to her/him and never enter the room when I'm there no matter how long I stay. There is no compassion at this facility at all.
My mother's been there a week and she has excellent care every day I go in she is clean and neat she is getting better care then Nortons hospital
Probably my least favorite place to transport to. Staff is sparse, building is old, communication is poor. Many of their problems have been inherited, and I know there are wonderful nurses there, but a few good people can't run the entire facility.
