Please don’t use this place for your family. They aren’t cared for there. This place needs to be shut down.

The staff shows favoritism to current residents, and also they don't do their job. The staff also talks very rude towards the residents. Some of the residents steal other residents belongs and don't own up to it. Also the meals are skippy and the staff thinks we eat a full course meal and every week it's the same thing every day every week.

I would give it no star, but the few staff members are nice and try to help but are not nurses. I wouldn’t feel good about putting my dog there. Its dirty, a fire trap. Residents are dirty and uncared for. Would push to close this place down. But a lot of the patients would be on the street if I did. So very very sad

Had a hard time getting information on the care for my loved one. I tried numerous times and could not get enough info as I live out of town and drive back to assist in doing what I can. When my loved one needed more care, I did not get an updated plan forward in detail. The doctor that the site uses is useless and should retire.

This facility is where disrepair goes to die !!!!!!!!! I have been waiting 4 months on a neurology ref feral appt. . My MRI was objectively reviewed by the house physician with myself as well as two other staff house nurses in February of 2019. The first month, he just forgot to write the order for the refferal . I have a ruptured brain cortex that consistently leaks CSF . It is a result that stems from spinal fungal meningitis . That , i acquired through a series of 3 lumbar epidural injections. I stay in debilitating pain . My health just keeps declining. yet, still no appt. it is now almost June. I hope , I live to write a positive review in regards to colonial hall manor. Thus far, the experience as a whole has been absolute HORRID !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HELP ! HELP ! HELP !

My mother always told me not to judge a book by its cover. Colonial Hall Manor is in an old building without any of the modern trappings that we are used to today, That said, the employees there provided my brother with the attention and watchful eye that he needed and could not find anywhere else. He was mentally and physically ill, but the compassionate staff at Colonial Hall somehow found a way to let him live a full life under their loving care. They treated him as if he was part of their own family - and our family will forever be indebited to them.

I’ll be forever thankful for this facility. The people here became truly family. Thank you.

My brother was taken good care of there by a truly caring staff. Great place for an individual to get the attention they need and have the freedom to come and go as they please.

I have been totally astonished at the lack of compassion, or care from this facility. they are quick to take you in and tell the family whatever they think you may want to hear. They left my brother sleeping, missing meals, laying in dirty diapers for more than a day at a time. I could go on and on, bottom line is that if you love or care at all for a family member, DO NOT TAKE THEM TO THIS PLACE. When they realize you are a family that will come by, visit your loved one, they feel threatened so they bag his or her belongings in a trash bag and put them out. This is run like a half way house, not like they are a nursing facility at all. We couldn't even find anyone in this place that even had the knowledge of O2 machine. I do know in America that we make sure animals are properly taken care of, but not the same with our people who may be mentally in need. What has our country come to? I bet no one has an answer for that. In my personal opinion and it comes from experience, this place is a money making scheme!!!!! Drop the family off, let them make money on them and do not come by or check on them or out they go......
