Reviews
for Daisy Hill Senior Living
The Staff from senior management to the cafeteria is top notch.
Laurie and her staff at Daisy Hill are responsive, attentive, and supportive of the residents. Suggestions that come from the residents to improve or enhance their living experiences are welcomed, considered, and often acted upon.
My mother is at Daisy Hill. My stepfather is still in a rehab facility, but he is registered there, and everything is ready for him. They have an apartment. The employees are very friendly. The residents are very friendly, too. On the second day that we were there, I took my mom to the dining room, and several women and men came up and introduced themselves to her. That, to me, was a big plus. The place is very clean and very fresh. My mom's mobility is limited, but she has easy access to the dining area. She is a picky eater, but she is very complimentary of the food. I have eaten with her a couple of times, and the food is very good. The value for money has been excellent.
All everything is is is top notch. The food could be better other than that everything was great. The place made my folks feel at home. The management and staff were very approachable and attentive. The screened in porch was something my folks really enjoyed. They kept the family up to date on things going on with them.
Daisy Hill is a wonderful asset to the Versailles community. Our family has had a very positive experience. Great staff - very positive and friendly.
Daisy Hill has been a wonderful place for my sister-in-law. She has been there for nearly two years and is happier than she has been in years. The staff is so caring and there are plenty of activities to keep the residents engaged. We couldn't have found a more perfect place for her!
Great place to live when you can no longer live on your own. Great surroundings and activities. Great staff.
Daisy Hill is wonderful and has been a blessing for our family. The staff and facility are first class. I would recommend Daisy Hill to any interested in assisted living.
My Mother has been a resident of Daisy Hill for several years. We have been very pleased with her care. While it is Assisted living they do strive to collaborate care with Providers and Home Health agencies in times when additional services are needed. The staff are friendly and caring. Laurie the Director has always been available for communication when issues arise. I would definitely recommend this facility.
Phone keeps hanging up on me doesn’t even ring 0/5
I visited Daisy Hill Senior Living and it was a good tour. The people were really friendly and nice. A lady who lived there came up to us specifically and said, "Are you looking? This is a wonderful place." She recommended it. She said it was a great place and the people were wonderful. So, that's good to hear. Something that was unsolicited. It looked like a nice facility. It was not exactly what we were looking for, but it still would look nice if that met somebody else's needs. The rooms are fairly nondescript. It's like a hotel room, maybe slightly better than that, but not a lot. They all have kitchenettes, but other than that, in my opinion, it's pretty bare-bones. What counts most I think is the staff and the people around you who are going to be caring for you, but the room counts, too. It was a one-bedroom apartment. They take care of sheets and towels, but they have a laundry room for you to take care of the rest. That would be in addition to what they offer. They have a bundle that you can get that is for cable, phone, and Internet, but that also costs extra in addition to what comes with the amenities. They have a staff of three for each hallway 24/7. So, there's always somebody available to help you. They do not have real medical care on the spot. They'd just call 911 like anybody else. We only talked with one person there, but she was very friendly, nice, and knowledgeable.
I visited my friend on memory care side and not impressed. Not one nurse in sight
One resident stopped me in the hall, as I walked our little dog, Zoey. I asked her if she enjoyed lunch. Oh, she said, all the food they serve here is so good!
We are so thankful for Daisy Hill. The whole staff is wonderful and caring. My mom just turned 98 and I honestly don't know what we would do without all of the guidance and support that we receive. My mom loves all of her aides and they all make her feel special. It is just the right size and just has a great feeling the first time you enter the doors. My mom loves playing bingo, going out to lunch with the lunch bunch and all the many activities they have such as music, reading and of course, happy hour! It seems like there is always a party going on around Daisy Hill! It really is the perfect place for your loved ones. We feel very blessed for everyone at Daisy Hill.
The entire team at Daisy Hill does a wonderful job of taking care of my Mom. Everyone is very kind and considerate, always with a smile! I love that there are weekly activities for social time.
We moved my mom on to Daisy Hill almost a month ago. She is adjusting to living there. The staff have been wonderful and so helpful. Mom has a lot of friends there. She says the food is good and the staff has been very nice and she likes them. The rooms are very nice and are well taken care of by the staff. We are very happy she chose Daisy Hill and would recommend it to friends who have parents that need the care they provide. Thank you to the staff for being so caring!
The entire staff of Daisy Hill are wonderful. They take great care of my dad, even when he has his grumpy days. The staff is always kind, considerate and professional. Laurie and Toby go the extra mile to assist with managing any ailment he has and keeping me informed. During covid, I never worried for his safety as they implemented a well rounded and reasonable plan for all the residents. I highly recommend Daisy Hill.
Laurie and the team at Daisy Hill have done a great job taking care of my mother, highly recommend!
This facility is great and very clean. Staff is very nice and helpful. Everyone has a smile on their face. They have a screened in porch and it just feels like home. The food is ok, but they could improve the variety, less pasta/casseroles/etc. For the price, I would think you would be able to eat what you want. We have talked to them about it and they are trying to make some changes. That's been our only issue, otherwise we really like this place! Communication with the family is great, they keep up with things and are very involved. I have and will continue to recommend them to family and friends.
The staff members are just super friendly and helpful to the residents. All of the activities they do offer for the residents are still quite plentiful and based on our experience so far with the Daisy Hill Senior Living we would absolutely recommend them to other families.
Very happy with this place. They are truly caring and also very nicely organized, with a nice facility.
My mother-in-law stayed for a short time at Daisy Hill in Versailles and it was great. The staff members were awesome and very helpful. Normally they provide activities, but she was there in the midst of COVID so they were keeping people separated. It was very nice, welcoming, bright, clean, and happy. She liked the food very much.
Daisy Hill was excellent. I love it. I'm on a waiting list there because they didn't have the availability of what I wanted. I love the place. They were just really helpful and really nice. The staff who assisted me was extremely nice and helpful, too. The room was fine.
The management and staff at Daisy Hill are fabulous. We have been very impressed with their caring attitude and effort to go “above and beyond”. My father-in-law is not in love with the quality of the meals, but he also hasn’t been happy with much that we have brought him to eat from outside Daisy Hill. As far as the facilities, the apartments are more spacious than other assisted living facilities that we toured. His is exceptionally spacious and has a screened in porch which also allows us to visit him without going through the main lobby, which he has indicated makes him feel more like he is living at a “real” apartment.
We live in a new 2 bedroom, 2 bath, 2 car, villa with our dog Zoey, a rescue from Woodford humane. We can’t get over how complete services are and how positive and sweet the staff is!
An amazing staff, from the Director to the caregivers. They are always cheerful, helpful and attentive. The facility is clean, bright and well maintained. They have an excellent dining room.
It is a wonderful community. My father-in-law loves it here. The staff are taking good care of him. It is immaculately clean. The people there are incredibly nice and kind. Helping the residents while cheerful and helpful .
Daisy Hill was smaller and under construction. We liked the ambience and that the people were very nice. The manager seemed like she was on top of everything. It was a little isolated out there in Versailles, but it is close to Lexington. They had porches on almost every room, which were slightly bigger and looked more like apartments. They had little kitchens and doors to the outside.
Best senior living in central Kentucky, hands down!
Love this community!!
I feel blessed to be a part of this community. I have had the privilege to be a part of the Daisy Hill family for some time now. When I started my plans were to make an impact on someone's life... But they are the one that has made an impact on mine. The stories they have to share and the life experience can't be replaced. Great Community. Great People.
I have been serving the residents at Daisy Hill for two years now and I love this family! Fun community to live and work in! Come see us!!
What a delightful place for retirement! The social calendar at Daisy Hills is always full of fun activities and entertainment! Their chef is wonderful! Everyday is vacation!
A wonderful place for your parents to live! The social activities are great! There is always something going on for the residents to participate. You have to make an appointment around their social calendars!!!
My Dad is residing at Daisy Hill for about two months now. Beautiful accommodations and very peaceful environment.
My mother's in Daisy Hill and she likes it. From what we can tell, they're thorough, very caring, and they are reliable. The food is very good, too.
