This place is not fix for anyone's loved ones. It's dirty and not sanitary at all. The bathrooms are in need of repairs. The whole building is in need of repairs. I don't know how this place pass the state inspection not unless they are not doing their job properly. Fern Terrace needs to be reported to someone high up at the Kentucky state department. Maybe they will shut it down for good. A very bad place. Do not take your family members there !

Fern terrace assistant director is rude uncaring and should not have her job. I went with another person to see about volunteering. She was so very very rude. Did not want to be bothered. Her attitude was unacceptable. She snapped at us. Just a horrible attitude and horrible experience. I can only imagine how she speaks to the residents.

Been living here since September 2011. I've had my ups and downs but have made a lot of friends here. I had never been in a long-term care before but have been in every other place that are horrible. Lol. I was homeless B4 here so this place (no matter what) beats that. Staff works very hard, that I can relate to, 4 little pay, something else I relate to, deal with 100+ different moods daily. This i COULDN'T do. Lol
