Golden LivingCenter - Vanceburg

My grandma she would have to wait to get her lunch she would set in her urine and poop for about 50mins to 1 hour and her light was on and still had to wait And there is a lady up front that come to my grandma room and jump all over us for going into other people rooms even tho other people do it and she did not jump on them and the she said that we have to wear a mask in my grandma room but she don’t wear a mask in her office if we have to wear one in my grandma room she should have to wear on in her office My mom and my great aunt was going to change my grandma because the workers there don’t know how to change her when she needs to be changed she had to wait before they would change her which is very pathetic and the patients should not have to wait that like to be charged she has got bed sores because she would have to wait for ever to be charged And the room they put my grandma in is VERY dirty has holes in the wall and sink which need to the walls is not in good shape either

This facility in Vanceburg is beautiful. Their staff is wonderful and caring!

I am a volunteer at Golden Living Vanceburg for the past 15 years. Staff here are very friendly and very attentive to the residents. They are care about the residents and the food is good. Special care in activites to make sure all needs are met. I highly recommend Golden Living at Vanceburg if your family has needs. You could never find a better place for your love one.

When my aunt stayed there, I found that the staff was inattentive and impatient. I live far away, and she could not feed herself or hold a cup. No one assisted her until the last week of her life. She was mentally sharp and told me that the staff considered her to be a pest. I saw it firsthand as I saw a staff member speak with her and a gentleman who needed assistance in a sharp manner.
