Everyone at the facility makes you feel welcomed. Nurses and cnas are well prepared and offer great care.

I was a resident of this facility for a year and a half. I would recommend it to anyone. I was treated very well while there. The staff is such a caring group of individuals they go above and beyond anyone’s expectations. They have such a challenging job They are faced with extremely difficult situations daily. To their credit they handle it flawlessly. If you are looking for a safe place to put your loved one I highly recommend this place.

Good Shepherd is a welcoming nursing home with great staff. There is a warmth about the facility that you feel right at the door. The caregivers know all the residents and their story. Each resident is cared for at a personal level. The facility is well kept and beautiful. I would recommend all families to look into Good Shepherd.

As a nurse aide at this facility I have learned so much, it is an amazing place to work and everyone goes above and beyond to make sure our residents are taken care of! My grandmother was her an absolutely loved it, we got her back on her feet and home in a short period of time, 10/10 recommend this facility!

As a new nurse, this facility has been very helpful in providing me with the learning materials needed. The staff is super nice and helpful. They have been one of the cleanest and friendliest facilities I have visited or worked at. The staff and residents do become a family to you. They are always having super fun activities for the residents. Overall super great facility, great staff, and always clean! (It really doesn't have that typical nursing facility smell)

My sister had been there for many years. I love how they take them out to restaurants, Walmart’s, etc. they give them picnics and have families invited and serve great food for all. Friendly service. My brother in law was there and passed while there. We knew time was about up for him and some of the family stayed. They would bring snacks etc. for us. One night he wanted a banana. Stores were all closed. Was around midnight. They went all over trying to find him one. Somehow they got it. They were very good to all of us. I’m thankful for them.

Such a good facility, the absolute best. They treated more than 1 family member of mine with the upmost care and compassion. They are family with their residents they love them and it really makes a difference to know your loved ones are more than a job. Blessed with the BEST!!!!

The facility is by far the cleanest and neatest facility I’ve worked in and I have worked in several, all the staff are always ready to jump in and help. Recently had to place my grandmother there for therapy due to a hip fracture and she has said she receives the best care she has ever gotten, although it’s scary to leave a family member in an unfamiliar place I know at the end of the day she is in good hands… all staff have went above and beyond to meet her needs as asked, and do all procedures as safely as possible… thank you to all of good shepherd from nursing, to management, and our wonderful therapy team!! The place is amazing!!

This facility is the best in the county! The staff go above and beyond for the care of the residents, and to ensure they’re happy! Homelike environment, tons of activities, and a great rehabilitation. If I have a family member ever in need of rehab or long term care this is definitely the place I would want them!

This is more like a home for the residents instead of a facility. Residents are content and get to do a lot of activities Our activity dept is always good about scheduling games and party’s. Out therapy dept is the best! We have some wonderful employees who’s goal is to see that our residents are well taken care of. It is our main goal to see all needs are met for our residents.

I have been to several nursing facilities in the area and none compare to Good Shepherd. The facility is always clean and organized with a friendly staff eager to help. The building's administrator is very involved with staff and residents and is committed to the health and care of the residents. They also do a fantastic job with events and activities for their residents which does wonders for resident's mindset and morale.

Good Shepard has one of the best and friendliest staff around. They go above and beyond to make sure that their residents have a home like atmosphere. They have some really great activities and special events also.

My dad has been a resident here for almost a year. He loves it!! The staff has been wonderful with my family, they have kept us informed during the pandemic and even let FaceTime him to see him.Now that we can visit I can see for myself how great they have taken care of him! He gets wonderful care here from the provides and the rest of the staff. They are like a second family to him. I couldn’t be happier with the facility and the staff and the care they provide for my dad.

Good Shepherd is one of the best long term care facilities in the region, with top notch care and amenities as well as professional staff! With every visit, I always notice that the facilities are exceptionally clean and there’s not a pertinent odor that I’ve noticed at other nursing homes in the past also. Specifically, the administration has always been very accommodating with my volunteering needs as well! As a professional student who needs to acquire community service hours, I can rely on Good Shepherd to help me reach my goals in my educational pathway. Good Shepherd goes above and beyond to offer quality care for residents or cater to the specific needs of individuals within the community!

Probably one of the cleanest, warmest feeling facilities I know. The staff are friendly, residents happy. If you need a facility in Northern Pike County I would recommend you check this one out.

This is a very lovely facility! The staff were so warm and welcoming. The residents all seemed to be very comfortable in the atmosphere and enjoying themselves. I had the privilege to photograph the building for work, as well as volunteering and it’s always a nice pleasant visit.

Good Shepherd is a great place to bring your loved ones to. They have a lot of activities planned for the residents who want to participate. They get to sit on the porch and enjoy the weather. They take good care of our families and everyone who works there is always so nice and friendly. They are always willing to help you with all your needs. They have a great therapy dept and they really helped so much to get my family member ready to return home.

I currently have an uncle staying @ Good Shepard Nursing & Rehab! I have been extremely satisfied with his stay.. & his care!! Staff remain fully in tune with clients needs - and go above and beyond to supply adequate personal enjoyment- when families can not be there. They currently have several “outings” for clients to enjoy… and they feel a since of independence as well as companionship with others. Thank you guys for a job well done !!

You won’t find another facility that cares more about the residents than here. From the top to the bottom, everyone truly loves the residents!

This place is a JOKE! It needs different employees like people who truly care for the patients or just to be shut down. They forget meals and when they do Remember they just leave it laying in front of patients who can’t feed them selves and walk out. They loose things and forget to change patients who can’t walk to take themselves to the restroom. Please fight for your loved ones so they don’t have to go through what others have. I smell a law suit coming soon.
