Hometown Manor Assisted Living Memory Care

I have had the best experience there. The staff are awesome. They took mom in and accepted her as family. They move on her, care for her, Joke with her and see to it that all of her needs are met. They communicate with me when she has a need that I have to handle. They provide her with all the love and support of being at home while allowing me to continue to work and afford to do what's best for her. Mom is so much better off there and I wouldn't change it for the world. I have referred a few people to them and I will continue to do so. I give our experience there a solid 10+

I can't began to tell you how great it is knowing my parent is in a safe and caring environment. One of the reasons I selected this community for my parent was because of all the wonderful things I had heard about its Bardstown facility. The Bardstown facility isn't menory care and the selection of Shelbyville felt right. The staff are wonderful, caring and kind. Having her there allows me to know she is is good hands.

Friendly staff.

This place is like home for the residents. Small in size (11 beds) but big in care, love and compassion. There is daily one-on-one care, activities done with enthusiasm, personalized interaction and good home-style food. If my mom had memory issues and I couldn't care for her personally, this would be my next choice!

Owners, staff and Director are the best around. They make sure every need is met for all their residents, new and current.

Hometown Manor Assisted Living was nice and their price range was the best for me. The rooms were a decent size. It's just what you would need in an assisted living facility. It's clean and they offer memory care. They do all the meals, and if you move your relative there, they clean towels and washcloths, and furnish the bedding. The staff is fine, and they have good cooks there. The memory care has a smaller group of people, which I liked better than the bigger group. It was personal. The person that runs it was very nice, very appropriate, and appeared to be somebody that was there to help and not judge. They had a lot of activities, especially for people with memory care.

Hometown Manor has been a God send. In short time, the staff has more than impressed me. My mother is happy because the leadership is genuinely loving and reflects in the staff. She raves about how wonderful they are when I come to visit . They take care of business and that gives great piece of mind. Very competent and very professional to work with on every level.
