Reviews
for Landmark of Iroquois Park
Rude hateful staff who stay in their phones not doing Jobs
I'm a recent below the knee amputee. My journey has been long and extensive. The rehabilitation department has been nothing short of extradinaty. In just a few months of hard work and guidance from this amazing staff have given me my independence again. I must say Adam, Jason, Julie, Matthew, Gigi are such incredible and dedicated individuals. My journey is still on going but would not be possible... Thank you isn't even enough. They have given me the tools and willing to give me their time to discuss any issues that came up I wish it was in my power to give you all raises.... You all go above and beyond for all the patients in the facility. Thank you for all you've done for me and my family. God Bless🙏 Since I can't add additional reviews I will just update this one. I find that there's a lot of young people here that work extremely hard to make sure that everyone is taken care of all the time. I must start with the nursing and CNA's that have work so hard to make sure I received the best possible care! These individuals are Ms. Deidra, Ms. Amber, Ms. Shakonda, Ms. Bre, Ms. Jackie, Ms. Shantillie and there's just so many I just can't name them all. 5 stars🌟 Then we have the janitorial staff run by Ms. Mia who goes above and beyond to make all the residents always have clean rooms and clothes all the time. A special shout-out to Ms. Julie and Mr. Mark for all the do ( there's a few others but I can't spell there names, sorry guys!). Definitely 5 stars 🌟 Then there's Mr. William from maintenance who is a one man wonder that helps keep this place running. I have been very fortunate to watch his interactions with the residents and making all their needs and requests are done in a timely manner. Incredible individual and I wish I could give him more ..5 star ⭐ Then we have the office staff of Ms. Betty, Ms. Justice. We also have Ms. Shamina (facility Director), Ms. Donna (Nursing supervisor), and Ms. Debbie (Director of Nursing) and of course theirs many other. They always stop what they are doing to answer any questions or concerns I have and guidance to a resolution. Amazing staff5 🌟 The cafeteria has come a long way since I have arrived in this facility. Through the guidance of Ms. Amanda with help from Ms. Angie, Ms. Tabitha and the entire staff. They have been moving forward and making great progress. 4 stars 🌟 We can't forget the activities department with Ms. Debbie, Ms. Gabby, and Ms. Angie. The first ladies that just do everything in their power to make the residents feel important and the truly matter. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I'm going to finish this off with two amazing ladies. The first one I consider my personal guardian angel Ms. Lenrsha. She does the intakes here. Who knew a phone call in Mid April would change my life. Then there's Ms. Tiffany (wound care team nurse). She has helped me learn knew ways to look at taking care of my body. Especially the skin which is severely important. These two ladies have always gone out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed to make my days here more pleasant. Thank you 10 Stars 🌟🌟🌟 I'm sorry my review is so long but these people and many more care and don't deserve the treatment from most residents. They work a hard job and are so giving and respectful. It's been my privilege and honor to meet everyone here... If you want to recover fast and take your own life back!!! Then you need to find a place like here. God bless these people for the job they do!🙏🙏
Family member was here less than a week. Looked like he had been neglected. I had to move him closer to me, so I can assist with their care. They are impossible to reach or communicate with. Social services director always in meetings and then walked right past me without saying a word. I sat up our own transport, theirs was in the shop. Feel sorry for the nursing staff. Was told they have 100 people. Too many people to get good individual care or attention. They need receptionists and nursing staff and less meetings.
The staff works hard but is in need of help
Overall experience, for my Mom, was negative. First two days the workers were great. Nice and attentive. And the facility is clean for the most part. After that, it wasn't good. I came in one morning to find the HELP call button on the floor and obviously out of reach. Mom was told she had to wait at least 24 hours for IV meds because the facility didn't have a machine to deliver the meds. Unacceptable. DO NOT take a loved one to this facility.
Do not send your loved ones to this facility.
My experience at this facility was a living nightmare! I have been out of this facility for almost a year but they still have me listed as an “in patient “ even though I called numerous times to which I was told the issue was resolved last December in 2023… obviously it hasn’t been resolved as of July 2024! Due to their failure to properly update their records I can not order medical supplies I MUST HAVE in order to live!!!!! My next course of action is to report this facility to all government agencies to look into this matter in order to ensure that this facility has not received payments for which they fraudulently claimed! Their failure to comply with updated records is unacceptable and causing me unnecessary problems and stress for which I should not have to deal with nor deserve to suffer the consequences of their incompetence!!!
This place is awful we went to visit my moms sister the food is bad the bathroom dirty don’t ever put your love ones in here and don’t come hear
Never has anything in stock!!! Always out of colostomy bags. They're rude and nasty to my sister (S. Biszmaier). I'm her sister speaking. 3rd shift treats her wrong. The cna's are racist. They don't treat her like they do her roommate which is black. Either something is done about it or the state will be contacted along with her attorney
The first thing when I got looked to park, and that's when I noticed two employees getting out of their vehicle's. Each one in a handicap spot with no visible permit either car. And I looked because I have a permit to park there. Filthy, nasty rooms and bathroom had poop on the floor from the day before.
Absolutely the worst place for your loved ones!!! They took my mom to the hospital severely malnourished (hospital words) on 8/09/23, did not inform them of any next of kin. The hospital contacted next of kin through social media on August 18, 2023 to make decision to remove her from life support. Since then I have called multiple times every day to inquire about her personal belongings and no one will return my calls and now they won't answer the phones. My mom passed on August 19, 2023. This has already been a very difficult decision and experience and all I wanted was to be able to pick up her belongings. They had me listed with a current phone number as her daughter and never contacted me. I live out of state and needed to plan to pick up her belongings but now they will not answer the phones. I have contacted the medical board as of 8/24/23 @ 2:35 after 2 more attempts to reach the facility where they did not answer either number listed for them. This place is a disgrace !!!
I would give it a negative stars if I could.I was a patient there for rehab on my leg. They did nothing for me. They didn't give me my home meds like my epilepsy meds and pain meds. I had surgery on my leg. They had big Roaches. They left me with a dirty diaper more than once after hitting the call button. They rarely even answered the call light. They kept charging my insurance and got my disability even after I was discharged. I had to call multiple times to get this matter fixed. It boils down to...NEVER GO THERE! NEVER SEND YOUR LOVED ONE THERE! I BEG YOU. I know from experience, I was a patient there.
To post this i have to give a star but know Im not giving no stars this place needs to be shut down... thanks to this people my momma was good until a couple weeks ago when they decided to try and kill her. So we are fighting to keep her alive i would advise not to send your loved ones here they dont care about no one but their pay check. And i be damed they treat my momma like this ever again. Hope something can be done to close this for good. By the way she didn't make it she was to far gone for us an the hospital to save her...

Great cna tha do care about their patients there
I love the services the they give a landmark staff are always helpful.
I love this place I really don’t know where to start it has seen it’s up’s and downs but you can see the improvement the patients are treated like family and the workers give great care it’s a new team for great things.
Great facility! Friendly staff who know what they are doing and who work hard! Definitely a thumbs up from me.
I love the employees there great environment and friendly service
New team making terrific changes for their residents. The past couple years have put a strain on healthcare and the new team is getting it back on track. Great therapy, skilled nursing team, activities, and dining. Keep up the strong work!
This is the worst facility I have ever dealt with. No one ever picks up there phone and they will not let you leave a voice-mail. They don't check on anyone there. My dad was there with a swollen arm for two days. And when I told them the response was that no one noticed that his arm was swollen when clearly you can see it. The workers are rude and they dont take people seriously about the loved ones that they have there. I would never recommend this place to anyone. And it really needs to be shutdown.
