Martin County Health Care

We are a family here at Martin County Health Care Facility. The care and compassion we have for our residents and their family are truly amazing. I count it an honor to be a part of it.

My sister has been in the Martin County Healthcare Facility 2 or 3 times. The staff was always great about helping get her in. They took great care of her and she was able to get better and get back home. They have a wonderful nursing staff and great CNA's. She also had rehabilitation and was able to walk again My mother-in - law and father-in law was both in there in there elderly years. They were well taken care of and were able to stay close to home where we could visit often. I certainly would recommend this facility to anyone who needs that kind of services.

I have had family members at this facility and the atmosphere was wonderful! I also work in the beauty shop there and the staff is great about helping make sure my clients are comfortable while getting their hair done.

My Mom spent five years at Martin County Health Care and was treated with love and concern at all times. The nurses, the aides, the housekeeping staff, therapy department, activities staff, and office personnel were loving and caring of my Mom and us. I am so thankful to have them here in Martin County and visited there almost daily. Since my Mom passed, I miss seeing all the staff. When Mom had health issues, I knew the nurses would give their all to help resolve her problems.

My dad had to stay briefly after cardiac surgery. It was such a blessing to have him close to home & receive such great care.

I highly recommend this facility. My Dad is a resident here and he is treated with respect and kindness from the entire staff. He loves everyone here and vice versa. I’ve heard several say when they can’t stay home, this facility is where they want to be. Me included!

The staff here really makes your family, their family. Clean and provides an excellence level of care!

My grandfather lived here. I loved how our large family was able to reserve a private room and still gather for celebrations like Christmas and his birthday!!

My mother was at this facility for an extended stay due a fractured shoulder and a fractured hip. The nurses, aids, and therapist went above and beyond to provide the care she needed. I am appreciative for all they did for her.

We had a wonderful experience with this facility when my mother in law was there for therapy. The facility was very clean and the staff was wonderful and very knowledgeable.

My Dad was here for several years the staff was always nice and helpful, the place was always clean I don’t think they was never once thst I didn’t walk in and saw the floor dirty , it always clean kitchen worker went out their way for him he was picky eater . The nurses was always good to him .

I love it here. Everyone is so sweet & nice. Especially Jess ❤️ I won’t go anywhere else !

Clean facility, helpful staff.

We were so surprised to find a facility that was so beautifully decorated and clean. Our relative was treated with such kindness and wonderful care. It is like a big family there and they were so good to us.

MCHCF is a great place if you need to find a place for a loved one's long-term care. Over the years, I have never seen one unkind or rough treatment of any patient. The staff is incredibly kind and loving. The facility is always clean and beautiful, with lots of activities for patients.

My mom was here for 5 months they treated her with respect. Couldn't ask for a better facility the staff was great they were good to the family

This is the worst facility I have ever seen. The staff are lazy and rude. They neglect patients. If family is not heavily involved, the patient care is none. They are more worried about their paychecks than patient care.

The staff at this facility treats each resident with love, dignity, and respect. My grandmother feels as if every person who works there, even the cafeteria and janitorial staff, are her friends. It is very clean there and the rooms and public areas are decorated attractively. Activities that cater to every level of mobility and mental capacity take place at various times throughout the day. There are several parties and gatherings thrown throughout the year that offer friends and family members the opportunity to interact with the residents in a social setting. In fact, the Christmas and Thanksgiving dinners they have are a huge hit with everyone! I really enjoy receiving the monthly newsletter that is provided to all residents as well as family members. This facility has a beauty shop complete with cosmetologists that offer manicures, pedicures, and a full range of hair styling to the residents whenever they need them. There is a physical therapist who has worked wonders with my grandmother, giving her some range of motion in her arm that, prior to her living there, had been extremely difficult for her to use. I cannot say enough good things about this facility. In the two years that my grandmother has been there, we have not had a single negative experience that made me regret choosing this facility for her.
