I hate it here since we have gotten the new administrator. It is now like a detention center!

We have had the best experience so far with this facility. Heather has been outstanding when it comes to helping us get my grandmother in there. She has gone above and beyond what the standards are to ensure my grandmother gets the best care. I 100% recommend this facility!

I have placed comments before but it was only for the nursing home part. However since my last entry certain things have come to light! They have started using what they call Agency personnel (from local employment agencies I assume) These people 90% other ethnic origins, not that I prejudice mind you it just seems that way. They ignore you when you ask for something and shrug you off like you should be thankful there doing anything at all!!!!! And now for the rehabilitation process for equipment they only have one bicycle machine and no pull up apparatus for the beds(where physically challenged residents)can pull themselves up in their beds. They have only the bike and no other equipment for strengthening their legs either. If you have a loved one for God sakes do not bring them here if you expect them to recover. I'M SORRY I had no idea it was so bad here till I lived here awhile. This place is owned and operated by a company in New York city, with there Pharmacy in Ohio 6 hrs from her where if the patients Ned refills on life saving prescriptions they have to wait, sometimes for days. BEFORE HERE THINK ABOUT HOW WELL YOU LOVE YOUR FAMILY MEMBER??

My brother was at Morganfield Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. It's an older building, but it's a very nice place. He got physical therapy there. He was taken care of and he got strong enough where he could come home. They've got very good people there. He was in a room with another bed, and part of the time he was by himself. There was a shared bathroom with the people on the other side. The room was quite plain, but it was sufficient. He had a TV. It was an older nursing home, so there needed to be some updates. The people there were so nice and kind. They had bingo, and they had someone came in for bible study. For the Kentucky Derby, they had horse races with pool noodles. They had a lot of activities. They were very helpful to us. They had you sign in every time you came, but they soon knew who I was, and my sister. We were very pleased. We never encountered anyone who wasn't helpful. He a couple of days had someone that he wasn't real pleased with, but all he had to do was talk to the administrator or the head of nursing, and it changed. We were very pleased with the staff. We were very pleased with the administrator and the assistant administrator. When we needed to talk, all we had to do was let them know, and we could talk with them. I wasn't there for meals, but most things he enjoyed. He didn't lose any weight, and I think that was a good thing.

they have a very attentive staff. The N.A's such as Cassie, hope, Sara,Tammy are exceptional. The new housekeeping staff are very professional.
