Wonderful facility with helpful staff.
The staff was very helpful and friendly . They had activities planned every day for anyone wanting to participate . Beautiful grounds and facility.. We enjoyed our stay there very much..
Exceptional facility. Clean and well maintained. They provide quality care and have a variety of activities to facilitate recreation and enrichment. Highly recommend.
Mom and dad went to Morning Pointe in October and we have looked on it as such a blessing. They are given great care and so many opportunities to do enriching activities. Best of all they are very happy at Morning Point. It has my highest recommendation. Debbie Setser
Far ABOVE average care to my mother - she loves the place and the staff. They have consistently done a great job. Very pleased to have my mother in this facility. I compared it to many others and after nearly 2 years, I'm still confident this was the best place for her.
As a family member of a long term resident, I was very unhappy with the quality of care received by my loved one. The administrative staff in particular are more concerned with appearances than care and compassion of the residents. Everything is very nice from the outside but would much rather have had some expression of compassion and care. Very disappointed. Would not recommend
The resulting covid quarantine brought out the worst in this facility. The restrictions were harsh in comparison to other facilities in the area and very destructive to my loved one. The level of care was difficult to judge as family wasn't allowed inside the premises for nearly one year. This resulted in clear evidence of neglect of my loved one when they were hospitalized. There was a lack of empathy shown to our family when our loved one passed during this recent time. They had uncompromising rules lacking common sense. Hugely disappointed. I would not recommend Morning Pointe Personal Care. There were some wonderful staff but corporate is terrible.
Morning Pointe has been a beacon of light for my grandmother. At the ripe age of 95, she was complaining of boredom, and my mother discovered MP after a recommendation from their family physician. She is able to enjoy meals with friends, play bridge, and many other activities, including scenic drives. The time my mother is able to spend with her is much more enjoyable and worry-free. Her apartment is clean and cozy and meets her needs wonderfully. The staff has been absolutely fantastic! Everyone from the Director of Nursing, nurses, and dining room staff have been lovely and caring. Betsy plans fun activities for the residents. We are extremely pleased!
As a transfer from Morning Pointe I am very disappointed in the memory care unit. You would think the care would be more specialized and superior to that of an assisted living facility but it pales in comparison. Food quality is terrible, the staff is constantly changing, inexperience, overworked and underpaid. Laundry and cleanliness are a constant issue, and bathing may happen once a week, if your lucky! You would think that the price jump would lend to better care not worse. Don’t get me wrong, there are a few that pull it all together, but it’s sloppy and not at all what we were told we could expect.
Morning Pointe of Russell is a wonderful facility with a caring staff, clean environment and great food. Would recommend to anyone.

My Father-in-law is here and we couldn’t be happier and we feel extremely blessed to have found Morning Pointe. I can’t say enough about them. The people are so kind and caring and the place is always clean. I’m lucky enough to work for a hospital that’s only a stone’s throw away, so I was already familiar with how [Removed] treats the residents and how caring she is and I’ve been able to work with the facility before. My Father-in-law requires a different level of care so I don’t know what the price is but each level of care will determine your specific price. I don’t know how often housekeeping comes around but I think they do as good as they can. My husband has eaten there several times and he says the food is great. I used to work for a company that would help provide the meals and it always looked great. They’ll bring people in for bible study and do bingo, as far as activities are concerned. They’ll do outings with the residents like going out to lunch and it’s just a blessing. There have been a couple of hiccups here and there regarding consistency, but I think they try to get things corrected as quickly as possible. The longer he’s there, there seems to be less incidents. Overall, I would absolutely recommend them to others and I already have.
I like the care that my father is getting from this nice community. The staff is unbelieveable and caring. I like the menu and the meals are excellent. They do offer activities for the residents who want to participate. The community is clean and I would highly recommend this great community for the wonderful care and the staff and the good value of care for a loved one.
I just moved my mother into this community and could not have asked for better service. We were provided with names of movers and other things you typically don't think about when you are making this type of move. The Executive Director gave us resources and had the maintenance person waiting on us and helped us move in. There was a welcome gift for mom and a nice blanket. Mom has been here for a month now and it is just as wonderful today as it was the day we moved in.
Morning Pointe looked like a very nice place, and the people that I’ve met were very nice. We couldn’t afford it, though. The dining area was very nice and looked very comfortable, very welcoming, and very clean. The staff seemed to be doing their jobs very well and knew exactly what to do.
My grandmother lives here and we have never been happier. The Executive Director and the Nursing Supervisor made the transition from a family home to Morning Pointe a very smooth one. Our questions were answered timely and we have never had to worry about her. There is constant communication so myself and my dad have been informed of everything going on. We were pleased to find that everything the Executive Director and Nursing Supervisor told us turned out to be the exact truth. Some places tell you what you want to hear not the real stuff. They are fantastic to work with. Thanks Johnas
I have never been treated with so much dignity and respect. The staff is caring and compassionate. They take care of anything I want or need. Their activities are so much fun as well.
The folks that work at Morning Pointe of Russell are the nicest I have ever encountered. They take care of everything. We have family night every month. The food and entertainment are superb. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
Most amazing community, provided us with the best care. Most caring and compassionate staff. Leadership at this community is the best I have ever encountered. I would highly recommend this location.
Very compassionate and caring staff. They go above and beyond. The executive director delivered flowers to me in the hospital. Every day in hospital, I had a visit from one of the employees at Morning Pointe. They make sure you have everything you need.
Morning Pointe is the nicest place around; that is why we chose it for my father. Everyone that I met there was very professional and seemed to care. One of the nurses and the director of the facility is highly recommended by my father. They guide you in making the transition as easy as possible.
I moved my mother here because it was 20 miles away from me, and I was able to see her everyday and attend to her, but with personal care, you probably won't want to use this one. Most of the people that worked directly with my mother were well trained and had been there for a long time and they knew how to take care of people, but they had a huge amount of turnover there. They had a lot of young workers, and it's like they didn't know how to do things. I constantly had trouble with the laundry; clothes would come in to mom's room that were not hers, and her clothes didn't come back to the room even though everything was marked. They washed clothes with Kleenex in pockets, and they washed colors with white, so that was an issue. They would take her to the bathroom several times so she wouldn't be wet all the time, but again that depended on who took care of her. They had four or five exceptional people, and the rest needed extra training. I was very unhappy with Morning Pointe Ridge. I talked with a nurse that was on-duty and asked her questions, but they were instructed; instead of giving me an answer, they had to go and talk to the nursing supervisor who then came and talked to me. They relied heavily on PRN medication which we did not want them to do. They did not notify us before they did that, but when they could not get mom to comply with what they wanted, they would call us. My overall experience there was overshadowed by the executive director and the nursing director who were very uncooperative and difficult to work with.
I liked how beautiful and how all-together Morning Pointe was and how they had everything covered. The staff was wonderful. They were very caring. It was wonderfully clean. The dining area was very nice, and they ordered up the food there. However, I didn't taste the food; I just looked.
The staff in Morning Pointe Ridge is very compassionate. The leaders of the community are very responsive. They also serve the best food around.
