Owsley County Health Care Center

Owsley County Health Care Center offers a wonderful environment for residents and visitors alike. The facility itself is very clean and well maintained. The outside grounds offer several parking spots for visitors, and offer a serene environment for visitors to enjoy with residents. The inside of the facility is properly cleaned and sanitized. There is a lovely sitting area found when one enters the front doors of the nursing home. A front office can be found when one enters the facility to assist with any questions, etc. The staff at OCHCC is very courteous and helpful. Residents are treated with respect; and, their quality of life and safety are top priorities. Amenities include different shower rooms for residents, a large dining room, activity room, outside smoking areas, vending machines, etc. One only need to ask if they require assistance while visiting. My many experiences of visiting family members who were residents at this facility have always been very pleasant and rewarding. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone who has a loved one who needs assisted living.

the outside grounds were nicely kept and the fountain in the flower bed was a very pretty. the inside looked a bit older but everything was clean and in working order. the home interior and decor gave the place a nice touch and it felt more like a home environment instead of a sterile hospital like environment. the staff was polite and professional. the office staff was very informative and helped to answer a lot of my questions. i got to look at the lunch menus and activities. i was impressed with their rehabilitation services and felt confident with making this facility one of my choices.

The Owsley County Healthcare Facility is located in my hometown. My great grandmother resides there and that is how I have my information about the facility. Upon my vistitation of the facility I would rate it rather high. The facility is very clean and upkept upon entering. It has a good appearance. All the residents seemed to be in uplifiting moods and taken very well care of. The staff seemed to do their jobs to the best of their ability and were doing a very good job. My great grandmother herself is very well taken care of at the facility and I have no complaints about it. I know that this is a good facility due to being in other facilities were the upkeep and care of the residents wasn't half as good. Overall, the Owsley County Healthcare Center seems to be a great assisted living facility and anyone needing to send one of their loved ones somewhere as such, I would defenitley recommend sending them there!
