Reviews
for Redbanks
My mom was a resident at Redbanks for two years. She lived the majority of her stay on the Harbor Unit (Dementia Unit). All of the staff we great to my mom and I would not have wanted her anywhere else. Toward the end of her life I was approached about her going to a Inpatient Hopsice Center to which I declined because I wanted her where the staff knew and loved her. Redbanks was a great place for us and I am would recommend to anyone to place their loved one there. Thank you to all the staff!!
THE HANDICAP ACCESSIBILITY IS NOT ACCURATE. THE BUTTONS FOR THE DOORS TO GO IN DO NOT WORK SO YOU CAN NOT GO IN. THERE ARE BROKEN WINDOWS IN THE BUILDING. THIS IS NOT A HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE PLACE.
My brother Joseph stayed there for a long time . He always had excellent care .The physical therapy was great .we went to visit Joe from Connecticut and felt so good seeing such kindness from everyone .Thank you everyone at Redbanks for such kindness and great care . Joes Sister Barbara
I did clinicals in this facility back in 2011. They are horrible, neglectful and abusive to their residents. Residents are always getting hurt literally by the hand of caregivers and are threatened if they say anything. They withhold meals, residents are always falling. I watched many RNs and CNAs yell at the residents and throw them around like a sack of potatoes just because they were "annoying" or couldn't physically move fast enough or the right way. A nurse yelled at a resident for soiling herself. Many of the residents also have bedsores because they are not being looked after like they should be. Just an all around horrible place. I would never send my family there.
I had a person who had to go to Red Banks in Henderson for rehab. This person was there for three weeks and this person kept telling them they had a urinary tract infection. Well, the nurses ignored this person. When they finally listened to this person, this person was sent to hospital where this person was hospitalized for a month with. UT. I don’t call that caring for the tesidents
Unbelievable No phones in rehab (No Transparency) POA challengers Dialysis ignorant with overload Inexperienced staff, infighting. Methmouth staff Very Small Unsafe bathrooms shared by 2 double rooms. No tubs or showers Angry and argumentative Poor Security 1 star for clean Beware
Redbanks is a great place! I would not hesitate to have one of my loved ones live at Redbanks. They have great nurses, great CNA's, the food is good and fun activities and outings. Redbanks truly loves and cares for their residents.
The entire nursing staff goes above and beyond for residents and families .
The staff there is very helpful and care for each resident like they are their own family.
Redbanks has a very caring staff. They are very informative and caring. The facility is clean, up to date, and like home. The staff know all residents by name and help with all of their needs. They provide care for all different type of patient needs from rehab to long term care to an Alzheimer's secure unit.
I live right down the street from there and every day sometimes more than once a day there will be fire trucks and ambulance going there do to someone getting hurt..
It's amazing that RedBanks wants to collect your money, but they don't want to actually work for it!!!!! How dare us to ask that they deal with a patient that needs care. A retired nurse at that. You should be ashamed to call yourself a nursing facility! You are a government hand out facility!!!!
My mom was in one of the wings in Redbanks, and she loved it. I didn't have any issues with any of the staff there and my mom really enjoyed all of the staff. She became friends with the nurses and liked the food. I haven't had any complaints and she didn’t have any complaints. I think the staff is friendly and definitely something worth checking out. My mom would not be upset if she had to go back there. They have a lot of activities going on, and there's always someone she could talk to. She liked all of her therapists, and all the nurses and staff are very nice.
The maintance staff is very professional and very caring . They take care of the place very well . I live there and the rooms are very big and space in it. I moved but now have a beautiful view and it quiet in the back area . I am grateful for the staff for there caring and helpfulness. Keep to self and keep busy there is the best way to be. I get involved outside in church and keep to self . Then landscape is very pretty. Needing more flowers and plants but it kept cleaned .
Would not recommend the Independent living to live in . Had friend stay there it was really a difficult environment to live in with the gossip . But it a beautiful place and a lot of room . Staff is friendly and helpful . My friend left and is doing well in section 8 now in a home to herself.
Redbanks Nursing Home is a great place for your loved one to reside. My husband's grandma is a resident there and the first time we visited we were very happy with the conditions in which she was living. They have an excellent and friendly staff and the facility is of top quality. The residents are provided with many day to day activities to keep them active. They have a movie theatre, bingo hall, dance room and much more. They have trained therapy staff and nurses dedicated to providing quality care and making sure the place feels like home. The have private rooms as well as semi private rooms available. The food is very healthy and of good quality. The facility was clean and neat and there was always someone nearby to answer any questions we may have had. I would reccomend this place to others looking for a perfect place for their loved ones.
They should be more flexible w/ the patients daily care/needs. Their needs change on a day to day basis. At Redbanks once they are LABELED AS a self feeder, for example. No one ever offers to help them eat. They need to LOOK at the patient Not at the patients CHART!!!
My grandmother was a resident with Redbanks Towers for many years. The facility is a multi-level apartment complex with the main floor consisting of the hair salon, dining hall and activities room while the other floors are residents apartments. The facility was always kept very clean and inviting to all guests and residents. There were always several activities and gatherings for the residents to attend, meet and chat with the other residents. There are also sitting areas on each floor that allowed residents to meet without the stress of going down to the first floor to talk with friends. Communication between the residents seemed to be to focus of the complex to give the residents the feeling of living in a community rather than an assisted living environment. Many residents who were unable to travel easily between the floors, such as my grandmother, left the doors open so that fellow residents could simply 'pop in' and chat when in the neighborhood. The faculty was well trained and I believe genuinely cared for all the residents within the community. Any complaint about the apartment whether it involved the air conditioning not cooling correctly or just a light bulb that needed replacing was always handled by maintenance quickly and professionally. It is always difficult to talk with loved ones about moving into a facility such as a assisted living home as no one wished to lose any of the independence however, once my grandmother became apart of Redbanks Towers she enjoyed the community and environment that Redbanks had provided for their residents.
