Sansbury Care Center

My mother stayed at Sansbury Care Center. She was there for 12 years. I was very pleased. The staff was pretty good. The place was very clean. The only thing I didn't like was they didn't have a bathroom in each room. They had to go out to the hallway to use the bathroom or when they gave them showers. They kept the place clean. Everyone was nice. They had activities. They had the memory care on one floor, rehab on the other floor, and assisted living in another area. They were all separated, and I liked that. It was an old building, but you get great care there. They watched them and did activities with them. The staff was all friendly, and the food was good. I could go eat lunch with her sometimes. When they get to where they can't swallow, they have the food pureed and a person to feed them. Overall, it was a great place, except for it being an old building and no bathrooms in the room. Each person had a room to themselves. They didn't have two people to a room.
