Reviews
for Signature HealthCARE of South Louisville
I can’t praise the staff at signature South for everything that they did for my mom. They were very vigilante , comforting as well as providing support in every way possible not only for my mom but for me as well. They are great when it comes to their patients and the family I can’t say enough about these wonderful people
My mo. Is there and and love the staff and she is being very well taking care of and would recommend signature south
They don't know how to answer their damn phones when your trying to check on your love ones like they should
My people were angels and miracle workers. The rehab dept was awesome and taught me how to think slower and process what I wanted to do in different ways.
Signature has been a life saver. The physical therapy is top notch and not because of their equipment it’s the staff (Keisha)They are the best. Now let’s talk about the rest of the staff. There is a couple of aides Jackie and CiCi are amazing. They take such good care of us and I have to say when they open the door and say hi it makes my day. There is a couple of the nurses or the ones that pass medicine are super amazing Tamika and Keisha ( sorry I spelled them wrong) they deserve all the recognition possible . The only negative thing I would say is the food sucks. Thank you to everyone
MY MOMMA WAS THERE FOR 5 YEARS BEFORE PASSING IN FEBRUARY OF THIS YEAR. WE DIDN'T WANT HOSPICE TO TAKE CARE OF HER END OF LIFE. WE PREFERRED THE STAFF TO TAKE CARE OF HER. THEY BECAME OUR EXTENDED FAMILY. I COULDN'T HAVE ASKED FOR BETTER CARE THAN THEY GAVE HER. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM. I STILL GO SEE MY SISTERS. I LOVE THEM ALL AND SO BLESSED TO HAVE THEM AS MY EXTENDED FAMILY
Mom moved to Signature Healthcare of South Louisville. We chose it because it was economical. She could get in when I needed her to be there. They have pretty much everything. They have nursing, medical, and everything that takes care of her needs. The cleanliness is OK. It's not great. She's in a very small type of area. The staff is pretty nice. They are there for her. I like what I see. I have not tried the food, but I saw the meal that they provided, and I did not like that meal. They have some activities that keep people wanting to go out.
Helpful, appreciate everything. Good people!
Love caring for our residents at South. It's a true family!
I loved and appreciated all of the employees from therapy, kitchen, nurses, aides, and management. I will be praying for them and the patients. I know the job they do is very hard. Thank you to everyone!
They are all wonderful! That's all I got to say.
Awesome place for my grandma she loves it here
They were very friendly and helpful. Gave the best of care!
Everyone treats me well!
My mother has been a resident for almost two years. I love this facility and so does she. Our community at Signature South is a close knit family. They treat my mom like family. Not just my mom but everyone. Everyone is always clean, engaged in some activity, and you can tell by the interactions of the other residents that they are content. My moms hair is always clean and brushed. The staff is what makes this place magical. They go above and beyond everyday. All of them. I love Signature South and so does.my mom.
My short stay at Sig South was so delightful. I met so many kind and lovely people. I'm pretty sure i have to have another surgery and i will want to go there for my rehab. Down to earth, professional and kind.
This place goes out of its way to make sure it doesn’t feel like an institution. I have renamed it my extended green pastures.
I loved my stay here and will come back when I have my hip replaced. Wonderful staff! After 3 months of being bed bound they were able to get me back on my feet, to stand and pivot and sometimes take steps to my wheelchair.
The sweetest, kindest people work here of anywhere I've ever been, and I've been to a lot of places. You guys rock!
I would give them a 100 stars! Everybody was super nice, beyond your imagination!
The team here is one of a kind. Friendly atmosphere with a real passion for care.
Well experienced staff and therapists.Really got me back on my feet after a 2 1/2 weeks intubation.
I recently had a family member here, and her stay was everything we could have asked for! The staff were so kind and made her feel comfortable and welcomed! The nursing and therapy teams were top notch and provided the care she needed! It is not an easy transition from the hospital to LTC but South Louisville made it great for her and our family! Would recommend to anyone I know and love!
I have really been satisfied and all the nurses and aides that have helped me have been very, very nice. One of them has been excellent and encouraged me and prayed with me. You couldn't get a better place then this. I will tell anyone about Signature Healthcare South, it's the place to go. Physical and Occupational therapist have all helped me to recover, I was very weak. And Kim has been very nice and explained everything to me that I didn't understand and helped me through this. Thank you all so much for your care!
I was reluctant to go at first I didn't want to be there but once I entered the doors I was greeted with smiles welcomes and I was glad that I came whenever I run for the AIDS they were right on time everybody greeted with me with smiles and welcome arms I would recommend them for future references they are definitely five stars with me
KRS 15.700 Vulnerable Adult neglect and abuse
They are great for physical therapy and are really good but they nursing staff can be a problem se are great others will ignore you their whole shift
I love this place...my second home. I would never go to any other facility.
It was a pleasure to see all the teamwork and camaraderie at South. The team there was very open to sharing their time and talents as they cared for their residents. Many thanks!
Outstanding Physical and Occupational Rehabilitation. The 24 hour visitation allowed flexibility for my visitors. I came as a direct admit from Baptist Hospital following Surgical repair for an ankle fracture and a wrist fracture from two separate falls on stairs at my late daughter's apartment. As an active adult with 15,000 steps consistently prior to my injury a rapid return to an active life style was the most important criteria for me. Physical Therapy with Rodger and Occupational Therapy with Allison allowed quick progression. They both designed therapy programs to meet my restrictions but pushed me to improve. It was exactly what I wanted and needed. I wanted to go home alone and achieved my goal. The nursing staff and ARNP Kara were compassionate and met my emotional needs following the recent unexpected tragic posioning death of my young daughter. The behavioral health and referrals from the licensed clinical social worker, Kate, helped me move forward with emotional healing. The discharge planner Kim made sure the necessary equipment I needed at home was ordered and received; our conversations helped met my emotional needs. I highly recommend Signature South of Louisville to meet rehabilitation needs.
This place is a joke.
I recently had a family member here, and his stay was excellent! The staff were so kind and made him feel welcomed! The nursing and therapy teams were top notch and provided the care he needed!
I really like this place!!!! The staff are so friendly and genuinely care for those they are caring for. The Administrator was so helpful to me. If you are in the South End, I highly recommend!!
The employee's were wonderful to my grandmother during her stay. They truly cared about her needs and always showed compassion. From the process of getting her admitted, to her care, to the discharge process. I would choose Signature South again.
Excellent staff. Very clean facility. They really go out of their way to make you feel like family during your stay. Therapy team was awesome!
The employees at Signature Healthcare of South Louisville always put their residents first. The family parades during COVID-19 was an amazing activity that no one else in our community was offering. We appreciate all the employees working so hard over the past year to take care of our loved ones while we could not be there with them.
I loved volunteering at South prior to Covid and look forward to the day I am able to return. The love and compassion the employees show the residents is amazing and it’s clearly present in this facility when observing the interactions between the staff and residents. The amount of enthusiasm and teamwork that I witnessed is unexplainable. The fact that the DON and Administrator are present and involved during activities and with direct care for the residents shows how this facility is more like family.
My grandfather was a patient here for almost 2 months last fall. He had a hard time in the hospital and needed a lot of rehab before he could go back home. The staff at Signature South was great with him! They were so caring and really understanding of his dementia diagnosis and how to handle him. He can be a stubborn old man. They took great care of him and the physical therapy team did awesome at getting him up and back on his feet. My whole family was happy with his stay and would recommend this place time and again!
The staff work tirelessly at the facility to keep the residents safe from COVID and at the same time work to keep the residents cared for and entertained. The facility is kept clean and the residents are happy and seem to be well taken care of.
Love Signature South!! The building is beautiful and the staff are so amazing! They truly care about their patients and will go above and beyond!
A great facility with excellent staff and management.
My father was a patient in rehab at Signature Healthcare South following complicated knee surgery. The staff were very compassionate and caring and went above and beyond to make Dad happy. Everyone at the facility was very friendly and I highly recommend Signature South.
Management really cares for their employees & residents. Also it’s very clean when you walk in & the staff is really polite!
My father received amazing care during his stay at Signature South following his surgery. The extremely friendly and caring staff made him feel welcomed and comfortable during his rehab stay as well as easing his family’s mind as he was cared for like their own family member. I can’t say enough about how compassionate each encounter with a worker there was on a daily basis! Very rare to find that these days.
This building has a great team of experienced workers who genuinely care about the residents and each other. My father was here at this facility for 24 days after a complicated knee surgery and they did great with him. He was up and walking in no time and returned home better than he had been in years! Kudos to everyone at this facility!
My mother was in this facility for about 6 weeks. We came to visit everyday, No one ever came to take her to the restroom, the room was often dirty. Hitting the call button for a nurse was a joke. Usually had to go find a nurse to get any kind of help and even then you would have to wait. Do your family a favor and take your love one somewhere else.
As if your dreading the (nursing home) stories, then you have the technology of the internet. So, these families leaving these reviews and I'm going to leave mine based on theirs. 1- NEVER EVER think my family will NOT have 24hr support. The eye in sky is always watching. 2- Do NOT have no CNA who hate the jobs, that makes these patients set up for bad experiences. 3- Go in and sit and convo w them. Learn history, I guarantee you will love it!
This team is amazing!! My brother in law was of sound mind & he loved it here. The physical therepy is awesome!! He loved the care level. We had a pretty bad scare on our 1st round (UofLs fault) & i couldn't have asked for more kind sincere care in fixing the issue. Hands on from the top nurse!! This was round 2 & unfortunately he didnt make it. They have sent us a beautiful arrangement offering their deepest condolences. Kim is over the top giving me private #s (i asked for) so that i could stay in touch with her. She & her team also made certain to take care of everything in watching the case & assuring we got back with them. They made the transition as easy as it could have been. They also shed tears as we talked when it was time for me to pick up his belongings. I have true love for them & WILL use them in the future for any needs i have EVER time we can. THANKS S.H.S.Y'ALL ROCK
My infirm, elderly mother was sent to Signature HealthCare directly from ICU, but immediately after arrival, was treated like she should be able to take care of herself. When the attendant came in to dress her, she left before putting on my mother's shoes and socks, which was the hardest, most precarious action of dressing. Due to the long delays before an attendant responded to a call, my mother would get out of bed to go to the bathroom, which added to her risk of falling. My sister and I visited daily and talked to the staff numerous times about my mother's meds, which were frequently mixed up--missed glaucoma eye drops, omitted meds, etc. There was no soap in the dispenser and the attendants did not wash their hands when entering the room. The call cord in the bathroom was not working, but the AC worked--either full on or full off. I gave Signature HealthCare two stars because the people were very pleasant. Thankfully, my mother was not in the facility very long and did not have to rely on the staff. Would not recommend.
My sister was a resident at signature Healthcare of south Louisville. They took excellent care of her, they made sure my family was comfortable while visiting her as well. The staff there is incredible.
