Reviews
for Spring Creek Post-Acute and Rehabilitation Center
This new machine makes it so much easier to check in and check out! It looks like they have hired more people to work. That's a good thing. They have needed more staff.
My mom was a resident at Spring Creek for two months. Everyone who cared for her during her stay was top notch. The therapy team was amazing and helped her achieve her goal of returning home. Angie in social services was so helpful with every aspect of navigating my mom and myself through her stay. Highly recommend Spring Creek if you or your loved one ever needs to stay in a skilled nursing facility.
Visiting with my wife's uncle I'd have to say that they need to do lots of cleaning. I'm being generous with a 2 star.
We commend the staff, exceptionally kind and caring. Our sister was always clean and well cared for, the staff treated her like one of their family.
This place is not a place to send your loved ones … they discriminate to patients who need motorized assistance to get around. I would not recommend this place due to the fact they want to eliminate the one thing that still provides them a sense of independence. My parent has no use of his lower extremities & arthritis in his hands & not able to push a wheelchair on his own . They would not allow his hoverround that he has been in for 10 years. No wonder they get such a poor rating due to their rudeness. I visited the place and the smell of urine & feces was atrocious. Cleanliness is not one of the best assets for sure !!!
Spring Creek has really excelled under new ownership. The Administrator, Sharon Link, goes out of her way to ensure the residents receive top notch care.
The rehab department is one of the best in the area. Great people to work with!
Therapy is great and Activity is fun
Spring Creek is an outstanding community for your loved ones. We are under new administration and ownership. Excellent staff
Can’t say enough about all the staff at Spring Creek . From activities to the top staff they are all amazing at what they do and truly care about the residents. They make sure mom is active and involved . They joke with her and make her feel at home . Thankful for everyone there .
This is a great place for rehab. The nurses are all great. All of the aids are very helpful. They include Monica, Kathryn, Shamara, and Elizabeth. Monica is the sweetest and best one. My nurses are very knowledgeable and kind they include Amanda and Don. My therapist that are helping me to walk again are Josh and Megan.
This place screams neglect to the elderly . If your family is diabetic they don’t care they let it get hight there doctor there is also a joke beware your family will die because of the care they give
My dad was sent to behavioral health because a known patient goes into everyone’s room and steals their property and violates their privacy. So she done it to my dad and he cussed the lady and she wouldn’t get out of his bed so he sat on her. They called to have a guard in his room and the guard wrote down everything he said and laughed at him. My dad is sad because nothing was done to reprimand the lady but he got sent to the Psych ward. My dad is not a violent person nor is he crazy. Not to mention they aren’t billing his insurance correctly they sent a bill for over $14k. So I’m working on his exit from this place asap. Don’t know what’s going on in that place but I’m getting him out of there.
My Dad went there for rehab after a pace maker was put in. He was strong. After a few days his urine was bloody. He steadily got worse. The nurse practitioner never got the results back from urine test that takes about 20 minutes. I demanded an ambulance. They did not want to call one. The head nurse in rehab finally called one even though I truly believe she stalled. They had let my dad contract E. coli. The Drs at MCCH said either he laid in feces or the people preparing his food had feces on their hands. As a result of negligence at Spring Creek rehab my dad died.
Please do not take your loved ones here. They neglect their patients. Our person that was there was too weak to cut up their own food and feed themselves so instead of feeding them they wrote down refused and took food away to the point said person was starved. When Gotten to hosp they were so malnourished they couldn't do anything for themselves. Not cleaned properly there for getting an infection. All the neglect ended in the death of this person and speaking to others this isn't the only one this has happened to. So please I beg u don't take ur loved one here.
If you're local you know this is not a good place to let your elderly family go. I know too many people that have lost loved ones or had more problems than what they went in for just because of the way this facility is ran. If you care about your family don't let them go here!!
Neglect caused my grandfather to become septic. I can't even go into all of the documented occurrences here. It was just supposed to be rehab for 2 weeks. He died this morning at this hospital. Spring Creek needs an overhaul and reevaluation. My grandfather deserved better than this. He didn't deserve to be treated the way he was while under their care. It is so sad and so sickening. My heart aches for those who cannot advocate for themselves.
I just want to say that the staff at spring creek have been wonderful. Lori has worked with us to help us transition from spring creek to home care. Her knowledge and compassion has been great. Also the social workers have done great to walk us through the whole process. Wonderful physical therapy staff as well. Im very thankful for their time and help.
It’s too much to mention as why I gave a one star! Being asked to put a good review as an employee is illegal. As now I’m not I can voice my concerns without feeling like there will be push back for doing what’s right
The nursing staff at Spring Creek is exceptional. Caring goes beyond just the physical needs. Our family appreciates all their hard work and care. Thank you Spring Creek Staff!
Nursing staff are great but they are understaffed. The big problem is the office staff and administration. Their mismanagement ended up creating a sizable bill, then tried to blame us and make us feel guilty even though we had written proof it was there mistake. Administration refused to speak to me.
This place is a joke! This place neglected my uncle. They literally starved him, never clean him up. This place needs to be shut down! You could get better care at the animal shelter. It is a unsafe environment for individuals that cannot communicate. Get your loved one out of there!
When I walk into the building, I am greeted with a smile and you can really feel the positive atmosphere. When I have a concern regarding a family member at the facility the new DON always has an answer for me and fixes any issues that I have. The administration does a wonderful job interacting with the residents when she sees them in the hallway. She has also done a great job with the new improvements. The new paint on the building really makes a difference in the facility. She is also pushing to get the memory care unit done so they can get everything open for that. I am just all around impressed with the facility and all of the staff. Everyone is so welcoming when you enter the building and you can see care that the nurses have for their residents. Everyone is treated like family.
They are caring for one of my residents from my facility. As long as she's cared for and happy then they are 5 stars from me. If you have time send letters of love to the residents there. Anything saying hello would make them happy. Valentine's day is coming up send some you don't know some love. ❤️🩹
Spring Creek is a great facility, with great staff and even greater residents.
Dorothy Kirk comments, "I like the activities offered, especially bingo, funny games and tossing water balloons." Jonetta Wieichec states, "I like the outdoor activities offered by the activity department." Wanda Beasley comments, "I like the activities provided and spending time with the staff and other residents." Pat Robinson says,"I love all the staff."
As long as you keep the really good looking, hard working male social worker, I’ll always leave you a five star.
Dietary staff go above and beyond to make sure each resident is happy with their meals. Staff take pride in what they do and put the residents wants and needs first.
The staff are compassionate and do their best to care for the residents. The therapy department goes above and beyond expectations. Being there is almost like having a second family.
Not what we would want for our family members. I need to start by saying that there are both good and bad caregivers at this facility. However, in general this looks and feels to me like a warehouse for the elderly. They did not give him adequate physical care, and I could give several examples but will refrain. The hallways are lined with people in wheelchairs, with very little social interaction, and the design of the facility does not provide an opportunity to go outside (in a secure courtyard, for example) We decided to move him to another facility, and the difference was night and day. The new facility has staff that were very concerned about proper physical care, and they showed a level of empathy and attention that every one of these facilities should provide. He is much happier and more comfortable now, and I am at peace knowing that he can rest comfortably without anxiety.
My mom went to Spring Creek Health Care right from the hospital. She was actually in that nursing home on two different occasions and I probably would have given them a 2 star rating for the first time. However, on that last time they really stepped up, provided her with extremely good care, and went the extra mile for her last moments. So, I probably would give them a 5.
