The Lantern at Morning Pointe is a remarkable memory care center for those with Alzheimer’s! They provide exceptional support for my mother-in-law! The team and management are wonderful! We are truly delighted with the care and experience we’ve received there. They go above and beyond every day!

My experience with the Lantern at Morning Point, Russell, Ky was perfection beyond belief for my wife who was suffering from Dementia. I had provided care for her at home, with the part time services of a home health aide for several years, but after I became no longer physically able to meet her needs, I discovered the Lantern and placed her with them. The attention given to her at the Lantern was not a one-size-fits-all situation. The Lantern’s care was tailored to her specific requirements and it was modified when and where, as her changing condition required. The Lantern facility is new, modern and well designed, but the key elements there are the knowledge, professionalism, patience, training and dedication of the staff.
When it became apparent that the end was near for her, I sought the care of Community Hospice. They came to the Lantern to provide their services and thus was it was not necessary to transfer or transport my wife elsewhere. Hospice took the lead at that time and the Lantern staff interfaced with them nicely.
The staff is so friendly and always interacting. My Mom seems well taken care of and her room is always clean.

We wanted a location near our home but we were not satisfied with any of those nearby. My daughter found The Lantern 1 1/2 hours away from home. We contacted them and scheduled a visit. Upon arrival we met Tina, who just so happened to know my husband's Dr. We felt so comfortable with her. She took us on a tour of The Lantern. Everything met with our approval and we were able to move him in within two days. We also met Britni who interacts with the residents and is so friendly. I can understand why my husband is so willing to do the activities there, It is simply because of her bubbly personality. He does enjoy his time spent here. The only drawback is the distance from our home.

Today was my first visit to The Lantern. It came highly recommended from the facility that my uncle was currently residing in. To our surprise, we were pleasantly pleased and once our tour and visit was ended we knew it was the place for him! The activities and way of living for it’s residents are just what he needs to live comfortably in his otherwise difficult state of mind. Our family is pleased that he will be residing here and will be a part of something so wonderfully therapeutic! The level of interaction the residents have is very exciting for us. We are excited to have him become part of the community at the Lantern.

Resident's enjoy meaningful activities, exercise, outings, and so much more-all in a safe and secure environment. The associates get to know each resident and their families, and work together to provide the highest quality of care. There is so much fun, love and laughter. Awesome community and staff!
