Reviews
for The Seasons@Alexandria - a BLC community
I was a resident from January until march of this year. The staff was outstanding. Everyone was very knowledgeable and treated me with the utmost respect. The facility was immaculate and the food was very good. If I needed to be admitted to a nursing and rehab facility again, I would not hesitate to choose the Seasons at Alexandria
Absolutely wonderful care to both my parents...from nursing to CNA to activities to administration. Everyone working together to provide kind quality care to residents and their families.
I think this place is very welcoming, and clean. The workers and management are very nice. Especially the CNAs
Clean and bright atmosphere, staff is very caring and helpful!
I was recently a rehab patient of Seasons at Alexandria. The staff were all very caring and professional from the nurses, aides and the therapists.
Dana, Angie, Allison and Tessa I met during my orientation they made me feel welcomed onboarding. I am excited to join The Seasons!!!
My family members are currently here, and the care they receive is exceptional. The staff is professional, attentive, and truly compassionate. Every concern has been addressed immediately, and they’re always respectful of my loved ones’ needs. I visit frequently, and I’ve seen firsthand how well they are treated and how seriously the staff takes their responsibility. Any claims otherwise don’t align with the reality I experience each time I’m there. I fully trust this facility and recommend it to anyone seeking quality care.
I had a very warm welcome in my orientation at the seasons. I learned a lot and felt very productive. I got to go at my own pace and didn’t have to sit through multiple hours of talking! Dana did a great job with all the google docs and presentations. Angie was very helpful with my logins to all the apps and getting me set up.
DO NOT BRING YOUR LOVED ONES HERE. My grandmother had been here for a week and it's been a nightmare. They put her in a wheelchair with no pants or anything and "forgot" about her for 5 hours! Refused to bring her water, and was told by 2 "aides" they didn't have time to help her go to the bathroom. They let her throw up for hours and put in a call to the doctor and never heard anything back. This place should be shut down. Her tube fell off of a wound vac and the had to Google how to get it back together. She was there for 3 weeks and presented with sepsis. They waited too long to get a doctor and had to be taken to the hospital where she was put on a vent and ultimately died.
The Seasons offers such a beautiful home on the assisted living and skilled floors. They have a great activities team and a caring staff. It’s conveniently located near shopping and restaurants. The residents seem very happy and well taken care of.
Baptist Life truly cares for the residents and supports their team. Seasons @ Alexandria truly stands out for its commitment to exceptional resident care. The staff here go above and beyond to ensure each resident feels valued, comfortable, and supported. The environment is welcoming, with a team dedicated to providing compassionate, person-centered care. It’s wonderful to be part of a facility where the well-being of residents is always the top priority, and every staff member is empowered to make a positive difference daily. I currently have loved ones living at Seasons and as a staff development nurse, I am grateful to work in an environment that prioritizes both resident care and team success. It’s incredibly rewarding to advocate for the needs of residents and ensure new team members are set up to thrive. The facility goes above and beyond to create a supportive atmosphere, making sure everyone has what they need. It’s truly a place where residents and staff alike feel valued, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for exceptional care for their loved ones! DanaMayConrad-
My mother in law was in short term care for about a month. The nurses and staff were very friendly and helpful. She loved everyone and felt very comfortable. She was well cared for during her stay.
Just started working here and overall I like all the staff and administration. The orientation process with Dana and Angie was great and very informative on the way things are done at The Seasons of Alexandria. I am genuinely so excited to start working with this great crew!!
I can't leave any lower stars, but consider my one star in the negatives. My 86 year old grandmother who could not get up on her own, was a fall risk, and in the later stages of dementia (all of which were noted in her medical notes/history) was left completely alone in room in a bed with no alarm because "we don't have alarmed beds". She proceeded to fall and aquired many injuries including a brain bleed form hitting her head and a broken hip. This happened after only a few hours of being at the facility and now do the stress of surgery on her body that she had to get for her hip, she is gone. I hope this facility is proud of what they've accomplished and how they treat those in the most need of care. Do not send your loved ones here, they obviously could not care any less.
My 86 year old mother was there for only a few hours and was a fall risk. They left her alone and she fell and was hurt bad. Don't send your love ones here. If I could give negative stars I would.
The staff here are Amazing
Visit family and here pretty often. The grounds and facilities always look to be well maintained
My mother was in rehab there, she didn't get fed some days, they totally pasted her room, when serving meals. The rehab didn't encourage her enough for therapy. They kept my mother past her time with insurance, and then turned around and charged me for the stays. They left my mother in the bathroom at the sink with no call light near by. And there were days she would pull the call light, but no one answered for a long time. One day she was falling out of bed, she called me at work because she would put call light on and no one responded. They hardly had staff, and the staff didn't know how to use the equipment. No thanks to the seasons, my mom went back into hospital. After she was released from hospital, me and my family decided to send her else where for therapy, now my mom is better and walking again, that's do to the other facility, not the seasons. I will never recommend the season to anyone, just because they are a nice looking facility doesn't mean they provide high quality care.
A wonderful caring staff!
My Grandmother has resided here for 3 years and receives high quality care in the memory unit. The Seasons has improved her life so much that I wish I had moved her there sooner. The nurses, staff and everyone that works there are all so compassionate and exceptionally kind to my mom who has dementia. They go above and beyond with activities and events for holidays, birthdays, and so on. Best decision I made for mom!
My mother's experience was a nightmare. The staffwas extremely rude to the patients, only giving them half of their prescribed narcotics and that's just for starters
I am so impressed with the loving care my mother received. I love the staff for all they have done, she was truly loved by them. Donna Holbrook was my mother. Thank you, with all my heart Cathy.
The Seasons at Alexandria was fantastic. The accommodations were all very, very nice. It's a beautiful place. If a person is admitted there and they get to the point in their health where they needed more care, that's available there, which is good. They seemed to be pretty flexible as far as meeting the needs of their residents. The facility looked nice and clean. The room seemed adequate and the layout seemed reasonable. The cost was just too much for us.
The staff is the best.
Beautiful facility centered on the residents.
This is absolutely the best place for our Dad!
$5000.00 a month for a very small studio space. and when my father in law asked for help, he did not get it for hours. Another example of ripping off the old folks that have know choice because their family have discarded them like trash. They should be ashamed!!
