Reviews
for Vanceburg Hills
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🙌 Big Good 👍
I have been a resident at Vanceburg Hills two different times and each time I was treated with respect. First time I was there in 2012 for therapy from both knees being replaced. I had great therapists that had me out of there in two weeks and five days. I was there in November 2023 until February of 2024 from major surgery and blood loss. They were really good to me I had so much company from the residents, family, and friends. 😂 I kept them on their toes and rolling in laughter. I could get cranky at times but who doesn't when you feel bad. Overall the staff in the office, nurses, CNAs, laundry, I loved the activies, spending time in therapy even if it did hurt, spending time with the residents, and the kitchen where great. My sister Hazel Jane Liles is also a resident there. She has been there since 2014 she had to adjust living there but loves it now.
Good place for residents. They treat you like family.
It is a nice place. The staff there are very loving and caring people. And some of the people that work there go beyond and out of their way to help the people and the facility feel better and look better and have better just a lot of teamwork.
Always a friendly and welcoming atmosphere! 😊
I have lived here since August 12 2014 I wouldn’t want to live any place else.We a great therapy department. I love to do activities I participate in all the activities . The food here is good . The staff here is wonderful they take good care of us. We are family here we treat each other like family.
So glad that we have Vanceburg Hills rehabilitation center, they're kind and show love and compassion to there patients . Definitely Recommend!
The entire staff took wonderful care of my dad during Covid when he was there for rehab. They have a wonderful caring staff.
Caring staff with lots of heart.
I have been very pleased with my daughters care.Hayden has been a resident for yrs and we are truly blessed to have people that has been just like family to her and I am truly thankful to each and everyone that has been kind to her .Forever Grateful
So far I am very happy with the staff and he like the food real well. How can I get to talk to his dr and therapy.
We have no negative remarks - has been a great help to us and easy to deal with the staff 👍
I love the staff, I love the care provided for my niece. I brought her home during COVID outbreak and was considering keeping her home, well after a week she told me she wanted to go back that she missed her friends. I am guardian over my 47 year old Down Syndrome neice, who started having some health issues and requiring more care that I just couldn’t do myself any longer and she required therapy. Well after getting through the guilt I felt and saw her thriving . I starting feeling ok about it. The rehab department is fantastic and the staff is like family. I can’t get there every day because of the way I work now and that’s ok, because I know she is being well taken care of and I have peace about it all now. She calls them her friends
We rescued my sister from this nursing home. They were very rude to us as a family and abused my sister on a daily basis. After she was abandoned at a hospital the hospital placed her in the care of this nursing home. They let him come there as well as his mother and sister and abuse her further. Within 2 weeks of getting her out of there the blood work that her new Doctor who had done on her showed that she has type 2 diabetes along with a huge list of medical problems that had gone untreated the entire time she had been there. If you love your loved ones do not take them to this nursing home . You are welcome to contact me personally to see the medical records if you don't believe me. I wouldn't allow these people to continue to make money from the victims that they pretend to take care of.
My sister is a resident there. She seems to be very well taken care of!!
The administration and nursing staff are very friendly and competent at the Vanceburg Rehabilitation and Care facility. I’m glad my dad is being cared for by them!
The only downside that I seen was when I visited it had a urine smell that could be a bad thing. Also on the weekend it seemed there was not enough Aids on duty. My brother seems to be liking it there though. They just need to make a few changes.
I am so glad we have Vanceburg Rehabilitation and Care in town. It’s allowed me to visit with my elderly mother daily and when I can’t, I know she is being well cared for. She has some wonderful nurses and aides who are taking great care of her. They are all very sweet and do a wonderful job. The residents are treated with respect and you can tell that the entire staff really try and make each one feel special. My only concern is some needed room improvements that haven’t been repaired . But over all I am very pleased with the care given to my mother.
The staff was very nice and polite. When I ask about a cell phone of my mothers they knew exactly where it was at and gave it to me they have a hard job and I respect them all for that they take great care of my mother she tells me they do thank you so much. The only thing i have a problem with is the phone service there land line phone’s is horrible to try to get ahold of someone
Extremely helpful, listens to concerns. Wonderful people!!
Great staff and helped Mom a lot with therapy. The only negatives: place could use some touching up and need a better system to enter the facility.
Always friendly staff who care about takeing great care of my Brother Dowd hord
They have been so good to my Mom who is in there for Rehabilitation. Even though they seem to stay short-handed, it has not affected the way they treat her. The workers all show such respect for each resident.
My brothers is currently in your facility. (2 years this month ) he needs much encouragement to participate in activities/ personal interactions . He says the food is good most of the time. It's hard to please residents at times. I know , my career was as a Food Service Director & Nutritional services . On my visits the facility was clean , the staff very pleasant.
Always friendly nurses and staff whenever I’m there visiting my grandma. The therapy out there is amazing they go above and beyond to help her get better. Thank you guys! It means a lot to know that you can put your family in good hands.
Vanceburg Rehab is a very caring and loving community. It is a beacon of light in our community for those needing help. Vanceburg Rehab truly tries to meet every need their patients may have.
The staff is awesome. Go beyond their duty.
A wonderful community of people!
My mom was just recently transferred to Vanceburg Rehab from another facility, and she loves it. She has great things to say about the food and the cleanliness of the place. At first. the transition was a bit overwhelming for her, but the staff went above and beyond to make it as easy as possible. They gave her the reassurance she needed to feel comfortable in her new surroundings, which meant the world to me. I live out of state, so the extra effort and attention to detail has been invaluable. I am so grateful for the assistance they have provided. To top it all off, a wonderful administrator by the name of Scott, offered to pick up her belongings at her last residence because I could not be there. I am blown away by his generosity. Thank u Scott!! Every employee I have spoken with has been genuinely kind and patient. They've been nice enough to put up with me during the times I've called with logistical concerns, as she got settled in. Basically, just great, compassionate people. More special thanks to business manager Pam, and nurse Ashley, both of whom took the time to listen with warmth and sincerity. So happy that my mother is now being looked after by the very best.
Vanceburg Nursing and Rehabilitation is awesome. They have taken such good care of my dad. He loves t there. The attention and good food has him feeling so much better.
Very friendly and do a wonderful job and do stay in touch with you to let you know how the family member is doing Awesome job
This is my third visit here for physical therapy rehab. They are very caring with their patients. I really recommend the nursing staff and assistants. They are always in a good mood. The housekeepers and laundry staff do a great job.
Very thankful for them letting us use their equipment to clean our gym floor! We really appreciate Matt in maintenance for helping our church. Thanks again!
We are grateful for all the caring staff at this center!
Wonder place and staff. They take amazing care of my aunt. I know that she is in great hands at Vanceburg. All the staff have been nothing but amazing to me and my family during these hard COVID times.
Rebecca the director is so rude she screams at me and my family every time we ask any question she is the worst care giver I have ever seen
I have a family member that was supposedly only been in short term and then they said another 30 days and now they are trying to keep permanent he is at risk of losing his family home and not be able to pay his bills because of this and the staff or doctors has not updated family as we have ask and he whats to come home
They have a nurse here that don't do her job. Been waiting 4 hours for my meds
