It's a good value for the money. They seem to truly care about Mom's well-being.One negative, there's a lot of turnover in the staff ( at the lower level) and I think they could be better trained.

While I have lived here I have felt safe and other residents are like family. I especially like doing crafts with [Name Removed]. My apartment is cleaned every week as well as laundry. [Name Removed] makes sure everything is done to my standard. I am independent so I don’t require a lot of assistance but have access to help if needed. Apartment is roomy with a kitchen, living room , bedroom and handicapped bathroom. I also have a patio where I have grown tomatoes and green peppers as well as flowers. My grandkids visit overnight occasionally. I’m very comfortable.

My grandma lives at Willow Creek. They treat her with respect and are very caring. Her apartment is comfortable and feels like home. She has friends there. They love to dress up for events and parties there. The dining room is really nice and the food is good. The staff invites families to join activities and for meals. I hope I have a place this nice to go when I get old.

My first visit to Willow Creek Senior Living was amazing. Upon arrival I was greeted by the staff with a warm & friendly welcome. Shoutout to LORI JURY & team for the positive atmosphere, & love shown to all the residents. The facility was super clean and decorated cute to give that happy feeling. While I was there I had lunch which was as like dining out. Awesome job keep up the good work .

I really enjoyed my visit yesterday to Willow Creek. The friendly staff was so courteous and answered all my questions with enthusiasm. Willow Creek has a really nice at home atmosphere, the dining room is beautiful and the food is delicious. The Apartments are large compared to other facilities I’ve visited. The communications Relations Coordinator, Lori Jury was so excited to share everything they have to offer, she is so knowledgeable and can help you with any and all the things you need. The residence were especially excited about all the activities they participated in. Such the lovely place.

My mom has lived at Willow Creek for 1 1/2 years. Her apartment is large enough to hold all of her living room furniture and a queen bedroom set. The bathroom is huge, which allows plenty room to maneuver her walker. The apartment has a nice sized balcony looking over the creek. She says that the food is really good and the staff is helpful and welcoming.

My mom was a resident at Willow Creek for years and enjoyed everything about the facility. She has since passed away but while she was there the staff were very friendly and helpful. They had a variety of activities to help keep her involved both inside and out side of the facility. They were truly helpful and compassionate during my mom's last days. I would recommend Willow Creek to anyone looking for a place to live.

We toured Willow Creek Senior Living. They were friendly. What we saw of it was nice. It's one of the older facilities there in Elizabethtown, but well maintained. The staff seemed very nice. The dining area was OK. The outdoor area was nice, and each unit had a little patio where you could put a couple lawn chairs up, and that was very attractive. Other than that, there wasn't a whole lot of outdoor space there. There were trees and everything. It was attractive looking.

Acquaintance · June 2023

The staff is really nice and friendly. The whole place is on the old side, a little run down but it's clean and well kept. For the money, it's not a bad value. I'm not aware of a place that has lower rates that is any better. So in that sense, it's a good value for that area.

Acquaintance · April 2023

The Memory Care unit is not always staffed. The staff is not that friendly and the place is old and not very clean. There was a flood in December there and my loved one was sitting on her bed with water rising. No one even went to her room. She called me frantically and I had to go get her out of there and into another room. They simply dry vacuumed the water out and left the carpet. I am sure there is mold now. Improvements could be: better communications and lower prices. There are much better facilities in town that are not that expensive.

My mom is there in memory care? They take very good care of her and always do the best. They are very protective of them and remember her but so am I of my mom? Any time there ever is an issue they always contact me thank you guys.

Wayyyyy under staffed, in fact the staff theirself will complain to you about it.. Food is horrible, sometimes uncooked all the way, cold and unseasoned. Not worth the $$$

Unspecified · February 2021

I liked Willow Creek Senior Living very much, except the quarters were just too small. It was lovely, seemed very well managed, and were very well staffed. The dining rooms and all the common rooms were lovely and well decorated. It was a little outdated as far as colors are concerned, but it was furnished very nicely. They had studios also, but the one-bedroom units were so small I couldn't get even a third of my furnishings in there. I just couldn't consider it because it was so small. I have a lot of books and things that I don't want to get rid of, and there was absolutely no place for anything there. I didn't have a meal there, but they had a lovely dining room, and right now because of COVID they're serving the residents in their rooms. I saw some of the trays and the food looked very good, very appetizing, and the presentation was very good. They had activities and they had someone to direct that. They had exercises, a spa, massage room, and a number of things. You couldn't want for anything except more space. I have two sewing machines and I still use them, but there would be absolutely no place for them in that unit. I would have to drag them in the closet. It didn't have that much space to store things like that. Everybody was lovely. I don't think it could be better.

We went for an in-person tour at Willow Creek Senior Living. They were wonderful. The staff was very sweet and they made my friend feel right at home. They were very, very friendly. It was clean and very homey. It was very warm, very decorated, and it had a very homey feeling to it. It was nice. We didn't see a whole lot of the buildings, but they were nice. The residents were very friendly. We didn't go into the dining area, but the apartments were lovely, clean, and with plenty of rooms. One of them had just recently been remodeled, so they were in very good condition, nice, spacious, and perfect for one person. I know they had a hairdresser and workout area. If I'm not mistaken, they had a spa, but we didn't get to see that. I remember the staff telling me they had some spa facilities.

Acquaintance · December 2020

We thought the facility was nice but my parents were not happy with it. The privacy was not what they wanted, people would come into the rooms whenever they wanted without knocking and my parents didn't like that.

Acquaintance · October 2020

We chose Willow creek in the beginning because it seemed like it was going to be a nice place for my parents, but it is not turning out to be. They are very understaffed here. They have one person running 2 floors and the floors have about 100 residents. I would not recommend the community.

Unspecified · October 2020

I took my mother and we toured Willow Creek Senior Living once, but she wasn't particularly impressed. It's the more affordable but also older piece of property. Their common areas are rooms that are basically converted, whereas some facilities have big open rooms like you would see in a lobby of a hotel. These places have converted living rooms with a single room going into it. The hallway is narrow. The big plus is that the apartment is actually an apartment. It's a bedroom and bath, and then a separate living room, it's not just one big efficiency, and has got 2 distinct rooms to it. So that was nice. We were looking at memory care, and the outside area is totally closed in, all concrete patio with raised box flowerbeds. But there's no grass or anything, and the 6-foot fence keeps you from seeing anything except the concrete patio. Whereas in some of the places, they have a courtyard with grass and flowers, actually planted on the ground, and not raised flowerboxes. So it seems more closed-in than other places we've looked at but at the same token, those were more expensive than this one. The staff did not seem particularly organized. Considering that we made an appointment, and they knew that we were coming, they didn't have the information together for us. Their food was good.

It's beautiful and we love all the people there. The care staff is very supportive and my grandparents are very happy

I highly recommend Allegro Elizabethtown. The rooms are nice, dining area pleasant, food good. The best thing about Allegro Elizabethtown is the the ENTIRE STAFF REALLY CARES for the residents, and treats family members wonderfully. Thanks to everyone there.

Acquaintance · March 2018

If you are looking for a community that provides kindness and caring then look no further. They are the nicest people I have met. The building is very clean and the residents are happy.

Acquaintance · October 2017

This is based solely off of a limited amount of exposure to the community. My brother was miserable where he was before; he needed a change, a new caregiver, and a new place to call home. When we moved him in here, we had hopes that he would be happier and he really is. The people are very welcoming, the residents and staff make it feel like home. It generally has a good vibe to it. The staff is knowledgeable, nice, and helpful. He requires a little more care than we originally thought but they’ve been great about helping us with that. The food is good and there are plenty of options. They have a menu that you can order what you want from. They take everyone out for lunches once a week and there are always lists of activities and occasional social events. They make an effort to get everyone involved. We’re paying a little bit more here and there are some things that aren’t included in the cost (like phone and cable) but he’s happier so I’m happy. Overall, I’d recommend them.

Acquaintance · July 2017

We are happy with the care from this community. We like have been very happy with the staff who are caring. The community is clean and the environment is very nice. The menu offers a lot of good healthy meals. I am happy that the activities are helping in many ways. We would recommend this community for the care of a loved one.

I high recommend Allegro Assisted Living. The staff truely cares about their residents. They go out of their way to make sure each resident feels like they are home. They provide a wide variety of daily activities to keep residence active and social. They have an onsite nurse and a delicious menu of meal choices. I hope, some day in the future to be a part of their family myself.

Unspecified · September 2016

My father was a resident of Allegro in Elizabethtown, Ky. for almost two and a half years and recently passed away at 94 years old. My father lived 5 miles from town and after several falls, it was time for a assisted living facility. After visiting several locations, we liked Allegro best based on the facility, employees, and the feeling from the residents. It was a great decision. We could not be happier with the responsiveness of the caregivers, the staff, and the management of Allegro. After three months of sadness of losing his home, dad suddenly realized that everyone at Allegro had created a "new" home and a family type environment.and became involved with the numerous programs that they provide to the residents. We will always be grateful to Allegro and their people.

We were able to find a place very close to where my aunt was already located. The name of the place is Alegro Senior Living in Elizabethtown. A big reason we picked this facility is its location. It is very handy for friends and family members to visit her. It has been very good. If you ask my aunt, she will rate it as 5/5 because she is really happy. They go out at least once a week just for a sightseeing drive. My aunt enjoys that because she hasn't been able to go out much. They also have an awful lot of people that come in the facility to entertain the residents. There are School groups and church groups that come in and play music, read, or sing for them. I had a meal there, and frankly I don't care much for the food. But my aunt thinks that breakfast is the best meal of the day.

Unspecified · July 2013

I visited Allegro. It was the only one in our area that allowed pet and it was a grand wonderful place. They had a one-bedroom apartment which was quite nice and spacious with a little kitchen and a walk in bath for the handicap and they had patios. They had a lovely community room and another big room for Sunday services with podium. The dining was restaurant style. It was beautiful and the food was good. The staff was excellent. They would really cater to you and make you feel at home. They had more activities, they go to places and they had a nice big van to go out. I would recommend it to everybody.

My wife and I have planned to downsize and prepare for whatever may comeour way. After shopping for 4 years we decided to buy a universal design patio home, but we considered and visited several independent and assisted living facitities. We searched for a coninuous living facility but found none. We liked what we found at Allegro of Elizabethtown and when the time comes, we will move there. A skilled care facility, located next door, was formerly under the same management but still gives priority to Allegro residents. A memory care unit is within the Allegro building. The staff is caring and professional. The facility, renovated about 2009, has one and two bedroom suites with rates comparable to similar facilities. The dining room serves three excellent meals each day. The activities director conducts a range of activities with at least two activities a day. An excercise facility with a wellness director is on site. Transportation to medical apointments, shopping, and group activities is included. Assistance in daily activities like bathing, toileting, dressing, etc is not included but can performed by outside caregivers, Family members are welcome without prior notice at any time. Best of all, the residents are all appreciative of the quality of care they receive.
