Unspecified · November 2025 It’s been almost two years since I got my sister out of this place. I am writing this in hope of warning others through my experience. First, there were a few good nurses there and that was about the only bright spot. Secondly, my observation of the administration was that it wasn’t working. The place is falling apart. When I moved my sister out of there, I had to throw some of her belongings away because of mouse feces. There were numerous times I reported that mouse poop was in her dresser drawers. Additionally, there were times that ants were crawling on her. Her roommate reported (to me) mice running across the room. After finding severe rashes on my sister, I finally contacted an attorney. I cannot believe this place is still operating. Lastly, the social worker there was over the top defensive and I feel like I was being gas lit. This was a very traumatic experience for my sister and myself. We were delivered from it when they found my sister unresponsive and called an ambulance (too much medication?). It was at the hospital via a liaison that I was able to get her moved. The Lord was gracious and she’s now been in an older nursing home in the country that has a good administration and social workers along with skilled nursing.
Unspecified · January 2025 Before I get into why this rates a one ( and I would give it less if I could), I would like to say that the people there that I met seemed to care about my Dad. They are overworked and simply don’t have enough help. Other than that, this place rates a one because it is an administrative failure. It’s dirty, dismal, and hopeless. There’s dirt on the wall and floorboards. The first weekend my dad was in this facility, there was feces in his toilet that stood for three days. Mattresses for 80-year-olds are as thin as a dorm mattress with thin little blankets on top of them . We documented this. Miss Paige, the social worker, was extremely uncooperative with our family. When conflict arose in the family between my father’s children and his wife, she stated that she would not get in the middle of family disputes, then lied in court on at least two occasions, stating that my father became irate when talking to us on the phone and used this to get a restriction order against his children. This was simply untrue and there were no records of his becoming irate in his medical records . For several months of the last precious year of my father’s life, we were not able to talk to him or communicate with him. I had a pleasant conversation with my dad In February 2024. When I finally got to talk to him again in May 2024, after a judge determined that his children should have guardianship and control of his money, he had seriously declined because of this facility and it’s lack of care and hope. The legal team would not acknowledge the completely legal power of power of attorney held by my sister. They robbed us of these months we could’ve had with our father. All this to protect a con artist who was spending $1000 of my father‘s money a month at TJ Maxx when it should’ve gone to his care and a place that was clean and gave him dignity until the end of his life. I will never forgive Miss Paige and Auburn Health for denying us access to my dad and supporting a woman who apparently was clothing her entire family… and maybe her friends who also profited from my in ways I will not go into here. Run don’t walk away from this place if you can!
Unspecified · September 2024 They take wonderful care of my husband with dementia. Loving, caring people work there. Feels like home and he loves the food!
All the staff are smart mouthed with the guest and residents. I also keep finding pills in the bed/floor from where they are not making sure the pills gets into the residents mouth. I also bought a whole bunch of clothes and they washed them and lost everything. Her room stays messy with food all in the floor and trash can over flowing, I had asked several times for the floor to be swept and mopped and the same spill would still be in the floor for days at a time. If you ask questions you either get a smart look or an eye roll. I have seen the nurses brush residents off and walk off while they were trying to ask them something.
Nope don’t recommend this place to anyone, by far the worst place I have been too.
Unspecified · September 2022 Quality patient care from caring, professional staff; Meals that taste like your sweet grandma made the food and an overall at home feeling the moment you walk in, til the time you leave. Overall, the kindest nursing, dietary, therapy and housekeeping staff that care for every resident like their very own family.
Unspecified · January 2019 Cause they care about their people
Unspecified · February 2017 Definitely not my first pick! There is no parking, it's extremely crowded and God forbid you ask the head nurses to stop talking about their personal lives to let you out, cause you'll get an eye roll and a smart remark!
Unspecified · January 2012 The facility was very clean, and somewhat orderly. The staff were very nice and helpful. It did seem, though, that mealtimes were a bit crazy. Some residents who needed to be fed were waiting for a while for assistance. This was possibly due to understaffing, as it seemed there were not many CNAs available. I was able to witness an activity session for the residents, and that was very nice. They all seemed engaged and seemed to be enjoying the activity. The few of the rooms I was able to glance into were well organized, and looked to be safe - free of clutter. I did, however, see a few beds that were at floor level. I know that was probably for a safety precaution, but I did wonder if it might not be too cool on the floor, or if it was more dangerous when assisting residents from the low beds. It did not seem same for the employees, or for the residents either. But, all in all, I was pleased with the facility.
