My mom is a resident of Baptist Life Communities. She lived in the independent living facility there for five or more years. She was then in the rehab there for a couple of months. And for the last four or five months, she's been in the long-term care area. It's an older place. My mom really likes the staff and says they take good care of her, but I don't know. I'm not fond of the management. Being in a wheelchair a lot, they keep pads or diapers on her. I know that there's been a couple of times where she's urinated and it came out of the padding and wet her clothes, and she sat in a wheelchair in urine for three hours one time, and I wasn't really happy with that. It's not a bad place, but they do have some problems. They have a little bit of an enclosed outer area that's small. Plus, the dining room is all surrounded in glass, so you can see out a lot and sit there. I don't think she's participating much, but I do know they have activities.

I'm so disappointed with how they lied and completely screwed me over financially over something that was their fault. It's just another cooperation that doesn't care about their employees. They act like they care, but when push comes to shove, they "loose" important information and don't follow their own guidelines.

What a beautiful home for senior residents to live, play and rest. The staff is caring and attentitive. When you enter this home, you feel loved and appreciated. There is a sense of family from just walking through the front door.

My aunt was a resident at the Village Long house for 3 years. The staff went over and beyond their duties and truly cared for/ about her. The meals were excellent, the activities and programs were very well organized with plentiful fun for everyone and their families. This is a great place to enjoy the latter years with a safe and secure environment. I can't thank them enough.

I have had both my parents in The Season's at Alexandria...Mom since November 2023 and Dad for a shorter stay of February to May primarily in the River Birch unit. I cannot say enough good about the care offered to both my parent and my family. My dad passed just a week ago there...the love, care, spiritual support was beyond what I had hoped for. From the nurses (Emily was on duty) to the CNA's (Particularly Jenny and Tina) and Margi the Activities Director...there are absolutely no words. We were able to have my Mom present, as well, which took care and sacrafice from her staff in the Walnut unit. My mom is given so much TLC it's amazing. I will always praise the staff of The Season's and never forget my Dad's last days and hours there...the family of Season's is truly a blessing to my family.

I am staying at Baptist Life Communities-Munro House. It is quiet, and everyone is friendly. The staff members are helpful. The rent is reasonable. They have an activity calendar and an activity coordinator. They try to do something every day. They have restaurant-style meals. You get choices. If you don't want any of those, they had sandwiches. I don't have much dealings with the nursing staff, but the resident director and activities director are very nice. The staff in the dining room are also very nice, and they try to meet our needs. The other day, I accidentally pulled the emergency cord. I didn't realize it. They came to check on me. The emergency light does go off in the nursing staff. Housekeeping cleans our hallway every day. If we say there is something wrong, maintenance will be there the next day to fix it. We play cards, and we go on outings. The rent includes all your utilities. There was a chaplain on duty. They offer Bible study and church services.

My mom has been a nursing home resident for just over five years now. She was a resident of one of the worst in Northern Ky until last August 2019. I had been giving my mom her showers and washing her extremely long hair twice a week until the winter of 2018. I went south for the winter. No problems the first winter. Left for the winter 2019 and I just returned and found out that my mom’s hair had to be cut off ( very short) due to her hair being so matted in the back of her head. This is due to complete lack of care. I blame myself for trusting that my sisters and the staff would continue to wash and brush her hair while I was away. Her long hair was part of her religious beliefs, yes they did get permission from my sister who is POA. I can’t imagine how my mom felt. She is non-verbal from a stroke, but very aware of what is happening. This one the last thing she had control over and she did not want short hair! She is 80 years old. Now we have a pandemic and I cannot make sure she is getting the care she deserves!

In the Rehab rooms, you have Two to a Small room Head to feet! The Bath Room is Use BY FOUR PATENTS The Adjoining Room Next Door Use the Same Bath Room. My Wife Med Records was all Screw up When She was Released. I would not put my DOG in This Place. ( I was Sick and never got to check this place out until I went to visit) It Reminded me of the OLD Covington ROSEDALE back in the 1960s

We took my mom to Baptist Village for rehab only. She was an Alzheimer's patient and had a spell and couldn't walk. After a 5 day stay in the hospital they recommended rehab. Baptist Village was one of the only places with a bed available. We were very reluctant to leave her there and told them more than once that while in the hospital at least one nurse/aide, or usually two, assisted her in going to the bathroom. We advised she forgets and thinks she can get up on her own. We told them we would be there 24/7, even planned to sleep in recliner all night. After only 3 hours there, while we had a family member still there with her, an aide took her to the bathroom, then left her alone. The aide then went down the hall. Another nurse came in the room to fix her bed, with our family member sitting there, looked over and saw her on the floor in the bathroom. They said we needed to take her to the hospital for stitches in her arm. Staff seemed friendly and facility clean enough but would definitely NOT recommend this facility for an Alzheimer's patient, especially one who can't walk. Not enough attention given to patient. Fortunately for us no broken bones, only stitches.

The staff gave a wonderful tour of the community. This would have been my first choice except that the apt was just too small for what I was looking for. The community was beautiful and the pricing was right and I would recommend this place to anyone looking

I visited Baptist Village for my mother. It semeed to be alright. It was an older facility, so it didn’t have all the bling like the other places. They seemed to be nice folks, but they wouldn’t take my mother. The room they showed me was semi-private, and that was all they had available at the time. It wouldn’t have worked for Mom, anyway. She couldn’t be in a room with somebody else. It was one room with two beds. The staff seemed to be quite engaged with the residents. They were active and helpful. There was a sing-a-long thing going on while I was there, and I think that was engaging for the residents there.

At The Baptist Village, everybody is very nice and very caring. My parents are in a one bedroom apartment. It has a nice size living room. The bedroom is fairly nice. The kitchen is a little small, but it is fully equipped, and they have a little place for dining. My parents have only been there for 10 days.

We did not go on an official tour at Baptist Village of Northern Kentucky. We went over to see somebody my sister knew. I did not think it was quite as deluxe, but it was a very nice facility, and the people were nice. The location was really good. They also offer a lot of services, and they have a visiting doctor once a week.

I visited Baptist Village. I like this place very much. Everything was excellent, but it was a little costly. The apartments were very spacious. The location was excellent for my taste.

Baptist Life Communities has independent living, assisted living and nursing home. It is right next to the library and that's a plus too. They have two or three outbuildings for the independent living. They also have apartments in their assisted living. The facility overall was very clean and homey. I was there with my grandson trick or treating and they gave me a tour of their full care facility. We actually went in rooms and they were very clean and very nice. The seniors that needed help handing out candies had nurse's aides with them to help them hand out candies to the kids. The staff was very helpful. I know some people that live there and they love it. It was just way out of my mom's price range. Actually the fee would include managing their medicines and making sure that they eat and everything. They serve dinner there in the dining room. They can have someone do their housekeeping. They can even have someone come and sit with them and help them read. They have a transportation bus that would take them to the mall or to the doctors. They even have their own pharmacy there. Also they can have their own pet there if they wanted to.

In January of 2010 due to grandma's declining mobility and ability to care for herself, we found ourselves searching for an appropriate living situation to fit her unique needs. While she was still able to take care of most of her needs of daily living she struggled with remembering to eat correctly and take her daily medications. We found the perfect situation with Baptist Communities. She was promptly moved into her own private apartment where she was able to feel as though it were her very own private home. The staff cared for her daily medications which greatly improved her health. They also offered daily exercise and craft opportunities which she so much enjoyed. The staff was helpful, courteous and caring. The facility was bright, modern and cheerful. As we could no longer trust grandma to prepare her own meals it was very nice that a meal plan was offered at a very reasonable additional cost. We were very saddened by her passing recently, but we are comforted that her last days were filled with joy and contentment.

When my grandmother was at this facility, we had to keep someone with her 24/7 because we quickly learned no to trust them. She began to have sores and we also had an experience where a nurse tried to give my grandmother her pills while in a comotosed state. She could have chocked to death. She was dying at that point. It was rediculous.When I began Nursing school I found out that we would be doing a clinical rotation here. I was shocked to see the treatment of the patients. They were indeed fed, dressed, and bathed on time. But when they realized we were gonna be there, they literally disappeared. There was many times they would put someone on the toilet and just leave them there. We would answer a call light and find a client on the toilet all by themselves. And as far as moving the patients every 2 hours, that never happened. They would sit in the same wheelchair for the 8 hours we were there. We only came on Tuesdays so as Nursing students we changed that and repositioned them ourselves. If they were bed ridden, they were never moved. So we started repositioning them. We tried to make someone of a difference. We were hear for 11 weeks and I saw range of motion being performed 2 times by someone other than us. Our clinical instructor actually took our complaints to the head of the nursing home. We are no longer there so I don't know if anything has changed or not. But I can tell you I would never put another loved one here, EVER.
