Good facility

All the nursing staff were excellent and took great care of my brother that was admitted there for hospice care. You could tell that he loved them and that they had taken good care of him. He would light up and tell them he loved them when they would talk to him that shows how much he cared for them. All the staff were excellent to the family all the way from top to bottom everyone genuinely showed respect and care.

On Feb 17th I learned after a 6 day stay at BHH that I would need inpatient physical therapy. For a day and a half the workers at the hospital tried to find an opening that accepted my insurance. On Feb 18th one call and Terri Teague had me admitted. She did more in 20 minutes than all the other places did in 2 days. I was a patient from Feb 18 until April 17th. I can’t say enough good things about the therapy department. Zack & Logan are tops in my book. I would highly recommend this place for inpatient physical therapy to anyone. A few special shout outs besides Zack, Logan, & Terri go to Tina, Kayla, Angela, Mary, Maria, & many others including Amy Lynn Loyall who keeps everyone doing activities. The new head of the facility, Sara, seems to really be putting forth the best effort to improve the facility for those who live there permanently. One person I can’t leave out who seemed to wear many hats and even gave me her cell phone to contact 24/7 if I ever had a problem was Christy Holder. Overall my experience was top notch and if I ever needed these kinds of services again, I wouldn’t hesitate to go back. If you are someone that needs PT, OT, or even long term care, I would say this is the place you need to be. Thank you to everyone who got me out of my seat and back on my feet. I appreciate you all more than you will ever know.

I couldn't be happier with the care my aunt received there. Special shout out to Sherri and her staff and Terri for attending to our endless questions

Amazing Facility! The best in Glasgow! I personally love how dedicated the staff and team are to their community and patients. I step above the rest! I see so many positive and new things happening and it’s awesome for a community that needs a positive reflection of healthcare.

I can't say enough about this place. We live in Louisville and had an issue trying to find my grandma a place for therapy. Terri Teague admissions director worked tirelessly to help us. Even tho we didn't want to make the decision to bring our family to Glasgow she made the decision so much more easy. Luckily for us she was able to find us a facility closer within the same company. Clearview is by far the most compassionate company in Healthcare.

The best facility in Glasgow. The staff truly care about their patients and the community. This place is a home away from home for anyone needing therapy or longer stays. Terri in admissions goes above and beyond the job description for her patients and families. Would recommend over any other facility in the area. When they say the best they mean it whole heartedly.

Great place in Glasgow

Unspecified · April 2025

The best place in Glasgow for your family to go for care. From beginning to the end everyone was so professional and the building was great. Terri Teague in admissions was absolutely wonderful and comforting to us throughout the process. She dropped everything she was in the middle of to help us tour the facility. She answered all the questions we had and was so professional. Amy Loyal in activities was great working with our loved one. She made sure Mom had many things to choose from and was so friendly. Therapy and Logan was amazing with mom Nicole the nurse was so sweet and got things done immediately. The only thing I would say that was not good was the meals . Not really enough seasoning or a lot on the plate. But overall it is the best place we have ever experienced. Would give 10 stars

BCNR has been a staple facility in the community for several years. I've watched lots of improvements happen in this facility since the new administrator, Sarah Rowe came in! I'm excited to see the continued improvements that take place here!

Unspecified · March 2025

Absolutely the worst nursing facility I have ever seen. I have family in other nursing homes and they are ran way better. My dad is at Barren County Nursing as I type this. He has been there 6 days and only recieved 2 days of rehab. We have had issues with nursing and food since day one. He had a hip replacement and is there for rehab. His bandage over his wound is two days late being changed. He is still only recieving enough food to feed a 5 yr old child. When he asks for more they say sorry we are out of everything. During his care plan we were told he'd get double portions plus they gave a list of sub foods he can order. He is def not getting double portions or I sure hope not and they never have any substutute foods in the kitchen. I don't if they are truely out of food or just too lazy to make something else. Also during his care plan he stressed he hates carrots but they continue to send them. My dad will be leaving early and finish his rehab at home!

This nursing facility is one of the best in my opinion!! The staff truly care about the residents and they go above and beyond every single day to make sure the residents are loved, cared for, and happy!! I do shift key on the side, so I am constantly going into other facility’s. From what I’ve seen barren is top notch!!

Some of the best nursing staff..

Unspecified · September 2024

My Mother was at BC Nursing for 11 weeks prior to her passing. After visiting her twice a day for 3 wks & once a day for 8 wks, I feel that we had a very close view of not only her care but that of her roommate as well as other residents. I just want to say that they cared for her with such love, compassion & professionalism. Words can’t express my gratitude. I have gone back since my Mom passed to visit with her roommate & the staff. They truly have become extended family to me. I can’t recommend their services enough to anyone looking for the care of a family member. They are without question the best care providers.

Unspecified · August 2024

If I could give 0 stars I would. This is the most crappiest place to bring your loved ones and I would not recommend letting your loved ones go here. It is already hard enough having to let a loved one sent to nursing home but letting the elderly be without food and water, and without seizure medicine is uncalled for. If you are so sissy teenager who is just collecting a check, this is not the job for you. This goes for adults too that works there, that are so lazy and acts like they are doing their job but they aren’t. My grandmother is in the hospital because of them being lazy and she will not wake up and doctors confirmed it was this nursing home being at fault. It’s sorry to be at a job and not do it.

Unspecified · December 2023

My mom fell and broke her leg. We were informed we had to take her to a rehab center. The first impression I got from them was , They do care ! The staff have been wonderful to her. The therapy department is doing a wonderful job, we have seen great progress! The nurses make sure she is taken care of. But as I observe around not only I see for what they do for my mom , but also for the other patients there too. They are all treated with all respect! Yes I would recommend this healthcare facility to anyone! In any place you take a love one there can be a problem arrive,. That is where you work with staff to fix it, And they do. The office staff also do a great job !

Unspecified · December 2023
