I have been to VA rehab before but this was my first experience at BC Nursing and Rehabilitation. From the moment I moment I met Christy and her leadership team, I knew they had my health and concerns as patient at the heart of their care. The nursing staff and wound care team took time to answer all my questions and keep me in the loop about any changes. The therapist kept me highly motivated and challenged me daily while ensuring I worked hard, but didn’t overdo it with new techniques each day. My aides, especially on day one, when I couldn’t care for myself after surgery, were professional and kind. The kitchen staff fed me well and went out of their way to help even with cups of coffee. I wish I had an employee list and could name each nurse, therapist, aid, and staff member that helped me during my stay. I will thank them before I am discharged and will return to see this family that I became a part of for the last 20 days when I am fully recovered. I give thanks to the Lord for the care and rehabilitation I received at this facility and highly recommend it to others.

Barren County Nursing and Rehabilitation is a wonderful place that truly cares about their residents and their community. Terry Teague, the Admissions Director, is incredibly kind and clearly has a heart for the people they serve. One of the things that makes this facility stand out is the fun and unique events they host, as well as how they help get their residents out into the community. It’s so special to see a place that serves theer residents while also creating meaningful connections with the community and showing a genuine investment in the well-being of their residents.

The programs and other events this facility puts on for their residents are truly phenomenal! Terri thinks outside the box when designing programs such as pageants for our elderly population. An A+++ facility!

Every resident I came in contact with while I visited was so happy and that tells me they love where they are and the people that care for them. So grateful for such a wonderful center!

Absolutely the best Nursing facility in Glasgow! The people truly care about the community and the patients! From Terri to Emmy to housekeeping! They are all awesome!!! 👏 I absolutely would not go anywhere but here nor would any of my family! Love this place! It truly is the heart of the community. My experience with this nursing home has been outstanding from the very beginning. The facility is warm, clean, and genuinely welcoming, but what truly sets it apart is the people. Every staff member we’ve met has shown real kindness, patience, and professionalism. I especially want to recognize the Admission and Marketing Director, Terri. She made the entire process feel smooth and supportive, taking the time to answer every question clearly and with genuine care. Her communication was excellent, and she guided our family through each step in a way that made us feel confident and reassured. It’s rare to find someone who is both highly knowledgeable and deeply compassionate, and they embody both qualities effortlessly. Because of her guidance and the dedication of the entire team, we felt at ease knowing our loved one was in the right place. I would highly recommend this nursing home to anyone looking for exceptional care and a truly positive experience. Also Emmy Glass, The activities director her activities are out of this world!!!

I work with Longevity Health and have the experience to visit serval long term and skilled nursing facilities. The Atmosphere at barren is unmatched, the staff is friendly and the elders are the sweetest! I love and look forward to my visits here!

Truly the best nursing/rehab facility in Glasgow and the surrounding counties! I’ve had several family members stay there and with amazing results and no complaints. They truly made them feel like family and wanted them to succeed in everything.

It’s not a surprise that BCNR stays almost at full capacity all the time. This is the best nursing home around and I would most definitely trust the staff to take care of any of my loved ones.

Always a positive experience with staff. Feel as if this facility is always going above and beyond to make the most of a residents experience to make them feel welcome and loved . Working in long term care over 15 years I have never seen such a caring amazing team throughout the building. Always a warm welcoming feeling with smiling faces to greet you and help with any need. Very compassionate team!! I love Barren!!

The staff at Barren County are friendly and welcoming! They go above and beyond to make sure their residents are cared for. The admission and marketing director Terri goes above and beyond when new patients enter the facility. Christy goes above and beyond to make sure families are involved in ever aspect of their families members care plan. The CNA's are always working hard to make sure they give the best care possible!

My Grandmother with dementia has been put into this nursing home Hasn’t been there 2 weeks and she has been completely neglected We are removing her tomorrow morning. We’ve had to changer her clothes Changer her bed. Bought her brand new clothes and half of them have went missing She had the same clothes on for 5 days. Same pull-up on for 5 days. Christy is nothing but a liar. She tells you what you want to hear to get your loved ones check. I have no idea why this place was voted best in the state. Keep your loved ones at home as long as you can This place is the last place you want to depend on to care for your loved one My mother also had to take her trash out several times Room was nasty Dirty floor. This place is a joke More stress was added to our family after putting my grandma in here Liars Thanks for making it so easy to realize y’all are a joke. We had to call them several times in one day just to make sure grandma had a bath. Sickening

I found Barren County rehab a very caring place. All personnel were friendly and very professional. I personally have had two family members in this facility. Would highly recommend to anyone.

My husband was there for a month. They did an amazing job caring for him . I am truly grateful for the people and care he received.

I was recently kicked out of this place on Sunday in single digit temperatures outside. Luckily I found a place to go temporary. They made false accusations about me. With the exception of the physical therapy department, I would not recommend this place to anybody. Once you speak your mind or try to advocate for yourself, they will find any way to get rid of you. It happened to me.

Good facility

All the nursing staff were excellent and took great care of my brother that was admitted there for hospice care. You could tell that he loved them and that they had taken good care of him. He would light up and tell them he loved them when they would talk to him that shows how much he cared for them. All the staff were excellent to the family all the way from top to bottom everyone genuinely showed respect and care.

On Feb 17th I learned after a 6 day stay at BHH that I would need inpatient physical therapy. For a day and a half the workers at the hospital tried to find an opening that accepted my insurance. On Feb 18th one call and Terri Teague had me admitted. She did more in 20 minutes than all the other places did in 2 days. I was a patient from Feb 18 until April 17th. I can’t say enough good things about the therapy department. Zack & Logan are tops in my book. I would highly recommend this place for inpatient physical therapy to anyone. A few special shout outs besides Zack, Logan, & Terri go to Tina, Kayla, Angela, Mary, Maria, & many others including Amy Lynn Loyall who keeps everyone doing activities. The new head of the facility, Sara, seems to really be putting forth the best effort to improve the facility for those who live there permanently. One person I can’t leave out who seemed to wear many hats and even gave me her cell phone to contact 24/7 if I ever had a problem was Christy Holder. Overall my experience was top notch and if I ever needed these kinds of services again, I wouldn’t hesitate to go back. If you are someone that needs PT, OT, or even long term care, I would say this is the place you need to be. Thank you to everyone who got me out of my seat and back on my feet. I appreciate you all more than you will ever know.
