for Belmont Terrace Nursing and Rehabilitation Center
I toured Belmont Terrace Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. It's local, and that was the biggest thing that steered me towards the ones I'm looking at. It looked very clean, and everything looked very nice. It was just like a walkthrough to where I could see the dining area, one of the empty rooms, and what it looked like. I saw some of the common areas, which were nicely furnished. The staff was very helpful and nice.
Stay clear of this place.
Unprofessional
I was there delivering food (something I do frequently). I wasn’t going to speak on it but this isn’t the first time I seen something that I should have reported. Last week while dropping off food it was a man in a wheelchair with snot hanging from his nose and all down the front of him. Another time a lady had urine pouring from her wheelchair. I can’t help but to wonder if these poor people are being taking care of.
I’m disgusted over our beloved family member who was awaken by a mice in her bed. I know this place isn’t up to par but this is all we could afford at that time. Currently looking for a new place. Not the news we wanted to hear.
This is a very nice facility, clean, smells great and the staff was friendly. We had a tour last week. They did not have a memory care unit, which is what we need, But if you need a long term healthcare facility, or rehab unit this is not a bad place at all.
Very unprofessional
Took amazing care of my gma while she was in yall service thank you again god bless
Very unprofessional not attentive when it comes to your loved ones. Your loved ones may check in but may never check out.
Let’s be clear, BELMONT is no longer the former Bridgepoint nursing home. The new management is working day in and day out to make sure they get that place up to par. Negative reviews from FORMER employees are simply because they are used to the way things were ran at Bridgepoint and the new management at Belmont is not accepting anything other than the best. Obviously, it’s going to take time to get that place how it should be 100% but it’s sooooooo soooo much better with this new company and new management. The administrator takes his job seriously, he means business. The building has been fully staffed since the new company has come. Dietary, housekeeping and laundry have improved tremendously, and the nursing staff works together to provide the best care possible for residents. This place is nothing like it used to be. I wish I didn’t move because honestly the place was getting better and better everyday for employees and residents. It’s obvious that changes are being made that I’m sure any longtime employee would appreciate. It’s unfortunate that the bad rep from Bridgepoint is being transferred over to Belmont terrace. No place is perfect, this one is just under construction and way better than it ever was. So please don’t read old reviews as THEY ARE UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT.
My family recently had a loved one stay at this facility for an extended period of time for rehab. The staff seemed to be professional and attentive in regards to our loved ones needs . My family and I would recommend this facility for those that may have family members needing rehabilitation services.
I thoroughly enjoy my role at Balmont, where I take great pride in providing exceptional care to our residents. The introduction of new management has significantly improved our working environment. Our team consists of dedicated and hardworking staff who genuinely care for the residents' well-being. Since Balmont took over, management has demonstrated a commitment to supporting both employees and residents. We prioritize delivering top-notch care, and our collaborative efforts have yielded impressive results. I confidently recommend Balmont as an ideal facility for your loved ones, knowing they will receive the highest quality care. (Lisa Lavertue)
When I say if your loved one is not self sufficient This is NOT the place for them. My mom was here, staff was always friendly to me , I was a steady presence for mom and I saw a lot of people sitting for long periods, their room lights left on the whole time I was with my mom. Crying from the rooms and a staff member dismissed me. The odor was overwhelming. When she arrived all she needed was basic supervision and help with some physical needs, when she became unable to get around things deteriorated. If you have loved ones here or any facility SHOW UP unannounced, pay attention. Listen to your loved one despite what the staff will explain away. I wouldn't recommend this place.
Worst facility I seen. My friend work there and got treated badly

Extremely unprofessional! Communication is slim to none. admissions department has the worse attitude! RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE

The staff are nice and friendly. Great job!!
Beautiful facility and wonderful staff! My loved one is there now, so I am exceptionally grateful for the changes being made! Thank you Belmont staff!
Great place. Such caring and wonderful staff who also take great care of the residents. Would recommend this place to anyone.
Wonderful facility with wonderful staff!
Don’t put family here. It’s sad but corporate supported an abusive director of nursing Monique that even came in drunk to work.monique director of nursing abused multiple patients and corporate hid it. Then corporate Fired a great administrator who disagreed with it.
I requested my mother got placement elsewhere asap. This is what they served her for a “meal”. Just sad.
First of all I don't understand all these bad ratings for this community. We have had great experiences with Bridge Point center. Our family member is pleased, we are happy, all is good. The staff are genuinely concerned about our loved one. We would recommend to anyone who needs constant care.
I do not know how a place like this stays open. Every review on this page is correct. I have nothing good to say about here. The hospital placed me here for IV antibiotics and I'm thinking of leaving AMA (against medical advice) and accepting the risk. Your loved ones do not deserve this...
This is a horrible place. Uncaring staff and pitiful living conditions. The food is awful with almost zero options. If you care at all for your loved ones, DO NOT let them be sent to this facility. I, personally, would rather be homeless.
I was so disheartened with this location. I wish I could give no stars. Please do not send your loved ones here unless their facility, staff, and environment improves. This was the only location available with a medicaid bed that was able to take my mom in her medical state. We had high hopes but they were soon squashed! It is dirty, reeks of urine and feces, and the majority of the staff are unfriendly. The admission's employee had our contact information but when we went to visit within a few days of her admission....the nursing desk was appalled at us that they didn't have our contact information. However, the hospital from which she was discharged and their OWN admission's employee had our information. Their own facility didn't pass along our contact info to the nursing desk. Even upon receiving the call my mom passed....they were cold, not comforting, and pushing for us to figure out how to remove her body from the location. We did the best we could under the circumstances and had a resolution within an hour...however, they kept calling and calling all family members on file for an answer on "what was going on." Please send your loved ones elsewhere unless this facility completes a 180 in ALL areas!
Only stayed at the place for one week before being hospitalized for dehydration that cause my kidney to almost shut down. This place is the worst; the smell is awful, the food is questionable and the staff does as little as possible. I wasn't able to get much to drink but juice, which I cannot have. The water taste like plastic and the hosptals refused to order the attachment to the bed so the bed was causing problems. I am 6'2. The doctor assign to the rehab only showed up one day and refuse to give me all of my medicine causing me to have more health issues. A women down the hall fell out of bed and no one came to help even though she was screaming for half hour. They only helped when I pushed my nurse button but then she still was on the floor for 15 more minutes. Don't ever stay at any of rehabs associated to this place. Bad bad bad place
