Reviews
for Cardinal Landing Memory Care
The staff at Cardinal Landing is incredibly compassionate and attentive!! They really make the residents feel loved and at home. They do everything they can to keep the residents engaged and having fun. I highly recommend their services!!
I am so happy we chose Cardnial Landing for my mother’s care. The staff is very attentive to the needs of their residents, as well as the needs of family members. The food is exceptional and they gladly invite family and friends to dine with their loved ones. They have daily activities for their residents, as well as movie nights. Seriously, if you are looking for exceptional care for a loved one, I strongly recommend you consider Cardinal Landing. Just an amazing place from all aspects.
By far the best memory care facility. The food is fantastic real home cooked meals and the staff is always so friendly and attentive. Highly recommend
The facility is very clean. Staff are attentive to the residents needs. Rooms are very roomy and nice. Highly recommend.
I began my search in October 2024. Home was no longer an option for dad due to mom’s declining health. I visited Cardinal Landing, spoke with the Executive Director and believed this might be a good place for Dad. I have not been disappointed. All the staff have been kind and seem to truly care about the residents. Dad receives good care, delicious food and the social interaction he needs to thrive. I remain in close contact with my dad. The staff and administration communicate any need or concerns clearly and in a timely manner. They also are quick to respond to my concerns.
The main issue there was that our mother's things kept me taken by residents who roamed. We understand that might be a little normal in a memory care facility but the director didn't seem to think it was a big deal. Once when a pair of her shoes were taken, he said, well she doesn't really need shoes anyway.
This place was by far the best I have seen with elderly care. The rooms are super spacious, the lunchroom looks like a resort, and the people are AMAZING! They are super friendly and for sure pay attention to details. My mother was stubborn and gave the staff a hard time, but they were super nice with her and understanding. She did not need to be in a memory care facility, but I am glad she stayed while she did. If you are looking for a place that your family can call home, this is it! The food by the way is OFF THE CHAIN!! That 7 layer salad, OMG! Amanda, Billie, Lilybeth, and Avery (just to name a few) are so nice and will for sure make your family feel like theirs!
The building smells very good. My dad was really fond of his 2 nd and 3 rd shift nurses. When he passed, they all came to his room to say Goodbyes, and that was significant.
The place is very clean and it’s one of the best smelling memory care facilities I’ve ever came across.
Cardinal Landing Memory Care loves to treat everyone like family; residents and their family, and staff members as well.
The premier Memory Care in Bowling Green. Wonderful staff to care for the residents.
Cardinal landing memory care is fantastic! The caregivers are very kind and passionate, the food is amazing, all around great family oriented environment.
The food is fantastic and the residents look forward to every meal. Friendly staff and they have so many activities planned each month for the residents. Highly recommend to anyone looking for assisted living for a family member. They are all just one big family here.
Best Memory Care center in BG hands down.
Cardinal Landing provides excellent care to their residents and is the premier memory care community in Bowling Green!
I feel care has not been as good as it was when owned by [name removed]. We have had some difficulty with the new DON being somewhat difficult to approach and problem solve with. New Admin seems to be more concerned about rules and regs than with what is best for residents. Hopefully this will improve with some time. The food is absolutely amazing. The techs that do the hands on care are wonderful and caring. Facility is very clean.
I highly recommend Cardinal Landing Memory Care to others. The facility has a homey feel because it seems as though everyone is a family there. The place is exceptionally clean and everyone, director to cleaning staff, are friendly and attentive to the residents.
My family was starting to be overwhelmed with the care for my mother. She was diagnosed with dementia and was needing constant supervision. We contacted A Place for Mom and was informed about Cardinal Landing Memory Care. An appointment was scheduled for us to tour the facility. We were very impressed and scheduled another visit for my mother. She liked everything about the facility. She is going on her 3rd month as a resident and we are very happy with the choice we made. Although my mother has trying days due to the dementia, the staff still treats her with respect and helps with her needs. There are many activities for the residents if they choose to participate. The facility is very clean and well maintained. Cardinal Landing Memory Care has given my family some peace of mind with knowing she is cared for and in a safe environment.
My loved one is a resident at Cardinal Landing Memory Care. We're a bit unhappy with residents who roam the halls and take things out of rooms that aren't theirs. I guess we could recommend this facility for people whose loved one needs memory care. They do seem to keep them very busy, which I think helps a lot. The food looks great when we've seen it. The Director doesn't seem to think the missing items are a big deal. Despite our issues, this is where our loved one needs to be.
Cardinal Landing has provided excellent care for my mother. The staff provide a warm and loving atmosphere. The food is amazing. The director, Josh, has always gone above and beyond to assist with any and all needs. We have felt very blessed to have my mom cared for at this facility.
This facility is so amazing with my mother and all of the residents! They keep them engaged with so many activities and have fun daily exercises. The residents are kept safe and have the ability to go where they please in the facility. There is even a fenced outside area that is beautiful and peaceful for them to come and go as they please. They have all kinds of special things they do on holidays for the residents. It is very much like a home setting. All of the employees are very kind and great with the residents! When I go visit, I feel very much at home myself. I hope I am able to keep my mom there for the remainder of her days. There isn't another place I would rather her be ❤️
We have been so pleased with the care mom has received at CMC. The staff is always so friendly and caring. Mom loves them.
5s across the board, Chandler Memory Care was great!! My dad passed in September but the month he was there they did an outstanding job with the transition
I toured Chandler Memory Care & Assisted Living. I went for assisted living, but I think it's more of a memory care facility. I could tell pretty much by seeing a lot of wheelchairs and it just appeared that there were a lot of people with memory problems. My uncle has got some dementia now, but he carries on pretty good conversation and I don't want to put him somewhere where everybody is further down the road. The staff was very kind and showed me around. We went to the dining room and we went to the rooms. They had activity areas. There was a group of them all together in a room there, but I never paid that much attention to that side of it. I didn't think it was as flashy or nice as the other two I visited. It was clean, but a little older. It didn't hit me as strong as the others.
Chandler Memory Care facilities are extremely clean, no urine or gross smells anywhere. Everyone at Chandler are exceptionally friendly, from custodial, to kitchen, to activity leaders, front desk personnel and especially the administrative staff. They went above and beyond to answer my questions and help my sister when she was there. They truly care about the residents in their keeping. The activities kept the residents physically and mentally engaged with the activities. Chandler Memory Care's monthly fee is well worth the money! The residents are treated with dignity and respect. Excellent place for your loved one!
I would recommend them to anyone. The staff is pleasant. We picked this community because of the location, and availability.
We toured Chandler Memory Care & Assisted Living. They really need to do some improvements. We went in there, and the guy wasn't very personable. When he would go into a room, he wouldn't even knock on the door. As a matter of fact, the one where he didn't knock, he used the key. The little man was in the bathroom at the time. It is just really an intrusion on privacy and dignity.
Chandler Memory Care & Assisted Living appeared to be clean and well-kept. We visited the memory care area, and the staff was friendly. The only concern was it didn't meet our needs. There were no registered medical people on site. Other than that, they pretty much had everything that everybody else had, like onsite hair salons for the ladies, some exercise programs, and daily planned activities.
They are wonderful. They are good to my dad. The staff is fantastic, and I feel like they really care about the residents. They are not in a hurry to blow people off. The chef prepares any meals, that the residents want on their birthday. They plan games throughout the day, and the last activity is around 4:30pm. The family is encouraged to stay and participate. We picked this community, because the residents are being encouraged to continue living. They have a physical therapist, and a person that comes in to cut their hair. Overall, they are really great.
I toured Chandler Memory Care & Assisted Living. It's a much smaller place compared to the other places that I toured. Their capacity is less than 50 residents, and it was a nice facility. It looked like an older facility, but it was well-kept and clean. There was a very pleasant interaction with the residents. The staff was very helpful. It was a good tour and a lot was pointed out and explained. They had a secured courtyard. When the weather is good, the staff tries to get the residents out to enjoy the outdoors as much as they can.
The activities at Chandler Memory Care are great they have so many different things like painting classes, crafts, kickball, and for Halloween they prepared trick or treat bags to hand out to the kids. Our first impressed was great, the community is very clean and everyone is very friendly. Overall it really does seem like a good place for your loved ones .
My Mother was a resident at CMC for 14 months and it was a very good experience for her, and our family. The director and staff have never-ending patience, compassion and respect. The building is clean and beautiful. Meals are always fresh and served hot. The resident's needs are top priority each day. Our family is so thankful for this facility and the sweet friends we have made there. I highly recommend!
They were very good with my mother in the short time that she was there.
They have been very attentive to any of our needs. Have done an excellent job, it is always very clean and the meals are amazing. The facility is beautiful, very well maintained and everything has been fantastic all around. No complaints just amazing.
My mom will be moving into Chandler Memory Care & Assisted Living. It's a fairly new facility. Everything was sparkling clean. The residents there were dressed. The ladies had makeup on, their jewelry on, and their nails done. Not one of them, but every one of them did. The men were dressed, some wore casual dress, and some wore collared shirts or button down collars. They were dressed like they were waiting for family to come in, and everybody was clean. They acted like they were just happy that everybody was there. They were really great. Mom's room was a brand-new room. They just got through building it, and it was really nice, but she didn't like it because when she got in there, it had like a paint smell. So, she ended up going to another room that had been remodeled, and it was nice too. Mom likes the garden, and they have a little area out in the courtyard where she could work with the flowers or vegetable garden. They also offer cooking classes once a week, where the residents can cook, and she likes doing that. They have a lot of the arts and crafts in the stuff that they do; their games do a lot of memory recall. They were great. They have in-house laundry, the TV was already there in the building, they have cable already hooked up, internet is already hooked up for the room, and all that's included in the price. The location is nice, it's just right off Campbell Lane; it's just easy in and easy out. I've never eaten there, but when we were doing our tour, they were getting their snacks. Everything is homemade, it looks really good.
I went to Chandler Memory Care & Assisted Living last year. It was really, really nice, they were actually one of my selections for Kentucky, because I have a girlfriend and her mother resides there, and she's still there. I keep a regular report with my girlfriend due to her mother being in there. The director, Tammy, was very helpful, and made me feel like I wasn't asking any dumb questions, covering all of my needs as far as the staff. From the time that I went to go visit, it was a beautiful and clean place, and the staff was very friendly and attentive to the residents. The rooms were beautiful, very well kept, and clean. I know that you have to share the room. They're really engaged with their clients to make you feel like you're leaving them in good hands.
My father seems to be doing fine over at Chandler Memory Care & Assisted Living. It's ridiculously expensive. It's a locked down facility and we're not having any issues with that. Everything is fine right now. His room is small and plain, but it fits his needs fine. They have a nice dining area and he seems to be happy with the food. His room is furnished.
Great facility! The staff is very caring, sincere, and very helpful. Tammy is always great with any of my questions or concerns. I highly recommend this facility for anyone with memory care needs
My wife is doing pretty good at this community. The staff were helpful in getting her adjusted to living at this community, however I think they could use some more staff. There are not a lot of activities. She does not really like the food. They do offer a daily exercise class. The community is clean and I would recommend it.
they need more worker's, there are not enough to do the job right.
My mother did not have a good experience at Chandler Memory Care. She received little attention and was not taken care of very well. She was not watched. Most of her clothes were [Removed]. There were very few activities besides watching tv. There were a few good workers. Most of the workers spent a lot of their time in the office talking. They did not have a nurse on duty the majority of the time. All in all it was a horrible experience for my mother, and her mental state went very far downhill while she was there. The facility is beautiful, but the care she received was very inadequate.
The staff at Chandler are awesome and they seem to truly love what they do. They are kind to the residents and enjoy coming to work everyday. They offer dining room style meals. The food is ok, however I think they could have a few more fruits and vegetables. They offer a lot of activities and the activities director is right on the ball. He is good at encouraging the residents to participate in the activities. The community is clean, bright, open and I would recommend it.
The people I met during my tour were nice and knowledgable. This is an older community and it did not feel like it was the right fit for us. The community is clean and I do not have anything bad to say.
Everything has worked out very good for my mother in law here at this community. We are very pleased with all they have done for us. This is a wonderful community, with caring people. The staff is great, they have been very attentive and welcoming. They have many activities available for the residents to try. I've tried some of the meals, and the food taste amazing. I know she is receiving great care. I have already recommended this community to friends.
Well, it seems like whenever we have a need they respond to it quickly, and that's about all you can ask. The people genuinely seem concerned about my dad and they're helpful and they handle memory care real well.
