Everlan of Louisville

Creepy. Their staff are like wardens. Very uncomfortable, tense vibe. It's bad management that permeates through all the employees. My friend has been staying there only a few weeks and he is markedly less comfortable than at his previous retirement home. I have witnessed them treating him like a child they keep on a short leash. Miserable existence. Don't put your loved ones here. I have seen much better staff at Jefferson Place. My mother, aunt and grandmother all stayed at Jefferson Place comfortably, but this "Dominion" or "Everlan" is a place to stay away from.

Amazing facility and staff…..coming from the son of a recent (11 months ago) resident. We shopped almost all of the top options in louisville and Everlan & Dominion became the obvious option for my Mother. The value and upscale facility is the best in Louisville. If you choose either, you will not regret it.

Independent Living at its best!

My mother has been living at Everlan for the past three years. Up until recently, she was managing well independently. And, then…she fell and hit her head. I was totally blown away by the level of customer service. The staff was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable in taking care of her immediate needs. They cleaned her, comforted her and truly exceeded my expectations. Knowing that she is in such a caring environment is such a comfort for entire family. Thank you, Everlan, for going above and beyond. You’re the best!

My mom was one of the first to move in to Everlan and it was an amazing place to live! The common areas exude a kentucky vibe w/ race horse and hunting scene art, beautifully decorated seating areas and dining spaces. It is sunlit with tall vaulted ceilings and floor to ceiling windows. Her apartment was sunny, modern, and crisp clean. It over looked the back yard fire pit w/ large comfy chairs to enjoy and a walking track. The food is delishious and staff very accommodating and friendly. And they have a happy hour each afternoon which my mom loved. She made some good friends! I highly recommend Everlan to anyone ready to downsize and spend more time enjoying life rather than keeping up with the daily chores!

They are awesome! They are very family oriented, kind and supportive. My mom was in a one bedroom apartment and it was perfect for her. She had a stove, microwave, refrigerator, washer/dryer, and standing shower.

This is such a beautiful place. It's always clean and orderly. The people, both residents and staff, are wonderful. The atmosphere here is lovely, and I'd recommend it to anyone who is interested in senior living!

Everlan is a beautiful community with some of the most caring staff, especially Kathie Quaife who always goes above and beyond for the residents and families

While the facility looks beautiful on the surface the management and corporate officers are incapable of keeping this place afloat. In the past 18 months I have witnessed a level of staff turnover unlike anything I have ever seen and there has been little if any communication on how this situation is going to be addressed. There have been 4 Associate Directors in that period, multiple kitchen managers, and the churn keeps on coming. The few staff working with the residents day to day are overworked and overwhelmed, this is just leading to even more turnover. While I believe they are trying their best they simply cannot keep up. I feel like I was sold a bill of goods and can only hope for a miracle to fix this situation, knowing full well that's not going to happen. While I would love to recommend Everlan I cannot, not without significant and sustained improvements that must come from their corporate officers. I'm only refraining from giving this place 1 star because the facility itself is fantastic, sadly the orgainzation behind it doesn't match the facade.

I found very different conditions when we first arrived, the staff retention is poor at best and the food service is one of the most poorly run operations I've ever seen. The turnover of kitchen staff is insane and management has had a similar problem. The management that has been present ranged between incompetent and uninvolved. The day to day operations staff are doing their best but they are overwhelmed and are not receiving the support from corporate that they need. Communication has been erratic and in some cases appears blatantly dishonest. Additionally there have been constant billing errors, while minor, they have not been easy to resolve because of shortcomings in the management. I would not recommend this facility until these issues are addressed. That being said the residents are nice and my mom has made friends there, if it wasn't for that we would have already looked for another location. our families experience has room for improvement, cannot recommend at this time but with changes I would be willing to change my opinion."

The staff at Everlan is amazing! My mother-in-law has some memory issues and introduced us to Angel, one of the staff members, yet again. Angel just smiled at us and said, “How are you?” never letting on that we have met many times over the past few months. It’s that kind of quiet dignity that the staff show the residents every day that makes this place so special! Thank you, Angel! You are the best!

Everlan of Louisville is a place of compassion and excellent care.

This was a hard decision - made easier through the kind attention of the staff at Everlan Louisville. My Mother was living alone in her home and the time had come for us to choose a place for her to be safe, happy and available to enjoy her days. Everlan Louisville is that place. After touring numerous facilities, and a lot of due diligence - the decision was not only clear - but we all were looking forward to her move-in day! The staff at Everlan Louisville have been outstanding in every detail as well as understanding, kind and ever so helpful with each step of the transition. From our initial tour with Kathie, the sales leader, and James, the Assistant Executive Director, and all the support staff we met - We have felt welcomed and are so happy to have found Mom's new home.

Everlan is absolutely wonderful. They have walked with us every step of the way through my parents’ transition into Independent/Assisted living. Not only are my parents incredibly happy, healthy, and safe, they have become a part of a loving community of friends. We love to visit and feel like part of one big family! I highly recommend Everlan!

Everlan of Louisville has been great across the board. We couldn't be more pleased. [name removed] set the tone from the start. She is fantastic and really connected with Mom. The entire staff quickly learned Mom's name, likes, dislikes and are always pleasant. Even when Mom is not so much fun to be around. The facility is only a few years old and is kept in immaculate shape. They have everything anyone could want, and it is up to the residents to do as much or little as they please. But the staff does encourage residents to be involved in activities. Mom's mental health has improved dramatically since moving there, and the staff and other residents are a major reason. [name removed] is the manager, and he is always responsive to my requests. He makes me feel that he is really there watching out for Mom. [name removed] and [name removed] are a couple of Mom's favorite staff members. They treat her so nicely and respectfully. The only thing I've heard Mom say that she doesn't like is the road noise. Her room is on the side by the merge ramp to the expressway, and she hears the road noise at night. So try to get an apartment on the other side if available.

I just recently started working at Everlan and I've been so pleased. Not only is this building, gorgeous, but everybody has been so kind and helpful. Staff and residents are amazing inside and out. I have felt so welcomed. This place has an amazing gym, beautiful apartments with their own washer and dryers, a comfortable cinema, and so much more. I would recommend this place to my own parents.

Everlan is amazing - we love it! Everyone is very welcoming. It has been a very seamless transition for my mom. She loves it there. The staff are very responsive and go out of their way to meet the needs of their residents. The facility is very modern and very clean. There's a great outdoor area that encourages the residents to spend time outside. It's just a very pleasant atmosphere.

The Everlan of Louisville's facility is smaller and older, but I felt very good about it. The staff that I've spoken to have been wonderful. I'm looking ideally for 2-bedrooms and the size of the ones I saw here were good. In addition to the meals, they have a bistro where you could buy meals at other times if you wanted them. They have the theater, and an exercise room, and they have a courtyard with really nice walking paths. They have walk-in closets and a washer-and-dryer in every apartment. They have a dog park if people want to walk and have an animal they want to walk. They also have 24-hour emergency response and the staff was very informative. I would live there, even though it was an older facility, that wouldn't bother me because there was a good deal about it.

We have found it's a very friendly facility. The staff is great. The food is delicious. And we are enjoying ourselves here.

The Everlan of Louisville community is very lovely and well appointment. We would recommend this community to others.

I wanna move to Everlan by Dominion. The facade was very, very nice. It's only 5 months old, and it's really extraordinary. Because of Covid, I wasn't able to go inside, but they took me to some models. It was amazing. It is independent, but everything is done for them. They have five different things that you can expect to get, which is pretty standard, I think. For me personally, I would love to go there for independent because I don't need care. The one person I met was very knowledgeable. She is a young woman who probably is just getting started in her career to be a resident person, and she's very, very good. It's closed down because of Covid, but it's a very happy place. The colors were beautiful, the artwork was outstanding and it encompasses what Louisville is all about, the horse and athletic world. It just made you feel that you're in someone's home.

I am the director of Everlan of Louisville by Dominion!! We have an amazing team, the Residents are so kind and looking forward to new neighbors!! Our Culinary Department is top notch, I have never experienced better food in senior living!! Our Life Enrichment Director, is amazing he keeps our Residents very engaged!!! Would love to see you come for a tour and a meal on us! We were blessed to have our COVID 19 vaccination.

Everlan of Louisville is so beautiful and truly state-of-the-art! Because they have so many floorplans, you can truly find the best fit for you. They promote an active lifestyle for independent seniors, and a network of assisted living locations when and if that is needed in the future for peace of mind.

This building is beautiful, and the staff is world class. Every single person is excited to be there and it shows. There are so many amenities, I would never have to leave the building!

Everlan of Louisville is a beautiful, new community. The community has lots to offer. Excellent dining, spacious floor plans, and amazing spaces for exercise and activities. The staff at Everlan are so accommodating and go above and beyond.

I just love Everlan of Louisville. Everlan is a wonderful community with a gorgeous campus. Everlan is the perfect place to live to accommodate an active life style for independent living. Lots of activities and scrumptious meals can't be beat! Just a wonderful place to live.
