The staff are so nice! The Social Services Director is so sweet and professional. You can tell she really loves her job and cares about the residents there.

The staff are so loving and caring to their patients like they are family. They do fun activities, have fund raising to make sure each patient has the best holidays and making sure all their needs are met. U could not ask for better. Love it!!!

Ive spent several weeks here and on a daily basis have been impressed. Everyone who comes into the room is friendly and willing to help with whatever is needed. There is a great staff in every department. From top to bottom we've had great experience. There are no concerns leaving our loved one to be cared for at this place. I would recommend to family and friends.

Before I rant let me say that the nurses and aides here are phenomenal. My mother in law over the last 2 years has had 3 stays in a rehabilitation facility and by far the quality of care she has received from Jefferson Manor has been the best. Thank you to all of the staff that makes this happen. Now for my rant. The food service here is TERRIBLE! For at least the last 3 weeks whatever she has chosen for breakfast, lunch, or dinner has been mostly incorrect. She informed me about this 2 weeks ago and either my wife or myself have been a witness to the errors. For 3 days in a row she was served a cheeseburger because according to the nurses, the kitchen didn't have the food that was supposed to be served. My wife has asked the nursing staff about it and she was told that they have a new manager for the kitchen and that he is very inept to the problem, saying that he tells them that he doesn't know why these things are happening or he ordered it and it wasn't delivered. I was there this past Friday and she was supposed to get a fried fish sandwich but was served a baked piece of chicken and French fries. Nothing that was supposed to be on her plate was there. Again it least it wasn't another cheeseburger. During this visit the patient that she shares a room with has also received the incorrect food. Once again the staff told us that the items were unavailable. We pay roughly $13000 a month for her care and one would think that for that amount they should be receiving the food that they are expecting. But that hasn't happened in weeks. Shame on you Jefferson Manor! Please do better! If your food matched the quality of care that is given you would be the best facility in our state. But alas it isn't. Not even close. Please fix this or unfortunately we will be looking for another facility soon. Lastly I want to commend the nursing staff and their assistants for the exceptional care that has been provided. That is the most important thing. Being served a cheeseburger for 3 days isn't but maybe letting them know prior would be beneficial. I hope that this review will help all of the patients and Frontline staff in the future.

Loved the trunk or treat! Everyone was so kind and our kids had an absolute ball! Petting zoo, games, candy, hot dogs, sno cones, popcorn and prizes. Jefferson Manor staff should be proud of putting on such a great event!

This place is amazing!! We are the neighbors and came to the truck or treat and every resident looked so happy and all the care staff were so wonderful!! Thank you all for a fantastic time for the kiddos 😀

My partner Keith has been a resident at Jefferson Manor for a year and a half, and during that time the care he has received has been nothing short of excellent. The physical therapy team has been phenomenal, especially Dennis and Jennifer, whose expertise and encouragement have made a real difference in Keith's recovery. Their dedication and compassion have helped him progress and maintain a better quality of life. Kim and Donna are always there when Keith needs anything providing thoughtful care that gives both of us peace of mind. I also want to give attention to the evening and weekend reception team, Chrystal and Nora. Chrystal, in particular, goes out of her way to make sure residents are taken care of. Her kindness and attentiveness don't go unnoticed. Simply put, Keith receives excellent care at Jefferson Manor and we're both very grateful to be a part of this community. Terry

My father in law was admitted to Jefferson Manor in late 2024 with multiple health problems. He has now been there for 9 months and has improved immensely! The staff — from nursing and therapy to housekeeping have all been exceptionable. If you’re looking for a long term care facility there’s not a better place.

This is the nastiest nursing home ive seen. This is my grandmothers nasty motel type very old room smh. I will say Alisha my grandmothers nurse & the 3rd shift cnas was very helpful with caring personalities. The 5pm nurse was very rude mad just cuz i asked to help with a bedpan, she actually said no she has to wait to pee til after dinner so tell her she can wait or pee in her brief😡. Im thankful 3rd shift ladies are nicer.

If you are looking for a place that cares Jefferson manor goes above and beyond to do just that. From entry you are welcomed and get the welcome home feeling. The staff is friendly and greet you with a smile. The place looks great and there is no smell. Environmental services works hard to ensure the place stays clean. The admissions lady Neeka I think is very nice and bubbly from the first phone call and works hard to keep that place full, before long they will need a waiting list. The Director of Nursing, Amanda I believe is very inviting and knowledgeable. I have never met a Don that would even take the time to introduce themselves. She knows every patient and everything going on with them. She makes it her business to know her staff and work right beside them. The nursing team shows care and compassion for the patients. You and your loved one are the heart of this place and you can feel that. The therapy team collaborates well and works hard to ensure you leave better than how you came. Tori& Meme are great social workers and do all they can to ensure your loved one is heard, safe and enjoying their time at Jefferson Manor. I have been to a lot of places but I must say Jefferson Manor has done a 360 on every level and I know the best is yet to come.

I've had a wonderful experience visiting Jefferson Manor! The home has a new, fresh look about it. Nick, the CEO has led this team to much success with his leadership. Amanda, DON and her team shows the compassionate care in the care they are giving to the residents. I had the opportunity to speak directly with one of the residents who has been residing in the home for quite some time who told me she really likes being in the facility and stated the care she has been given has not disappointed. Please take time to stop by for a visit, no appointment required.

My Husband went in this place for Rehab and It turned out to be a nightmare. The place looks nice when you go to check it out but the staff was horrible and the feed the residents like dogs. I would highly recommend that you DON'T send your Loved one to this place.

Jefferson Manor has been a wonderful facility for our brother. The thing I love most about Jefferson Manor is that each time we visit there are at least 5 - 10 nurses, aides, other staff available for questions, assistance, etc. Our family members have lived in multiple Assisted living and nursing homes around Louisville so for comparison sake, Jefferson Manor is the most well-staffed facility and we are grateful every day that our brother can live there and enjoy all that Jefferson Manor offers, including a lovely outdoor patio that’s accessible from all hallways and a nice lobby with a piano. Dr. Nick Cooper, the director, is approachable and always available for discussions about medical needs, etc. We highly recommend this facility and appreciate all they have done for our loved one.

My disabled brother (65) has been a resident at Jefferson Manor for 18 months. He initially went there to rehab after an injury, but liked it so much he wanted to stay. I visit often and am thrilled with the care he receives. The care staff and the management team are excellent. They have great attitudes, treat him like family, and do their jobs with pride and professionalism. He regularly states that he hopes to live there forever.

The staff and administrator at Jefferson Manor have been great. They make my father feel welcomed and comfortable. They answer any questions we have and address his needs.

A huge shoutout to the Business Office Manager Brooke is so helpful, professional, and genuinely caring. They made the entire process smooth and stress-free for our family. The CNA’s and nursing staff are absolute rockstars! Their kindness, patience, and dedication to residents truly stand out. They treat everyone like family, and it shows in every interaction. My dad was in Jefferson Manor in February 2025. He was in another rehab in November 2024 and that was an awful experience. I was worried about what his second placement would hold, but read all the reviews and they were spot on. Jefferson Manor is a great facility for rehab and wound care. The staff really do care and get to know the patients and their needs and likes. My dad is very particular, as are most older folks, and they were so good with him. He really, really like and enjoyed Nurse Tyson on night shift. He was SOOOO attentive, personable, and caring. Nurses Lynn and Kim on dayshift were equally kind, caring, and personable. If my dad asked for anything, staff would do anything in their power to meet that need/request. Everything from chocolate pudding to a different bed. They made it happen!! I couldn't believe it!!! Staff at Jefferson Manor communicated with me every step of the way. Discharge was seamless. The social worker was amazing and super skilled in her job. Our last rehab left us with NO referrals upon discharge, and the social worker never called me back at that facility. The social worker at Jefferson Manor made going home super easy; a true seamless transition. Again, I couldn't believe it!! Seriously, if you need a good rehab place for your family member, please consider Jefferson Manor. I would definitely take my Dad back, if needs to be there. The first rehab was horrible, but the facility was beautiful and impressive. Jefferson Manor is an older building facility, so it does not "wow" you with its appearance. But it is clear that they spend their money on people. People who care and provide great care.

If you are looking for a place to work then I 1000% recommend Jefferson Manor. You walk in and are instantly greeted with smiles. Everyone is extremely helpful, caring, and friendly. This facility is highly recommended.

Jefferson Manor is a top notch facility! Staff is always friendly and it is obvious that they care tremendously about each resident. Their therapy team is amazing and has lots of great success stories! JM is a smaller facility so I believe that the care is very personalized in every aspect! JM has a very personable, positive and professional atmosphere. Everyone works as a team to create the best outcome for each individual!

I was recently able to take a tour of Jefferson Manor. I was very impressed with the knowledge of the staff that answered my questions without hesitation. Extremely friendly, clean and professional atmosphere. I could not imagine sending any of my love ones or myself to any other facility. Jefferson Manor 100%

I will like to thank everyone from the nursing team to the dietary office for the exceptional care my father received. Charles Ward. He went in on his back and walked out 20days later thriving. My father was admitted to Jefferson Manor for rehab with a broken hip and femur. I couldn’t be more pleased with the entire staff! They have been exceptional! Especially the administrator who has been with us every step of the way, always checking in with the family to see what we need.

I had the chance to tour Jefferson Manor with their Administrator, Nick. Finding a skilled rehab and long term care that can show how much they care for your loved one is not easy. However, when I walked around I met so many friendly employees and happy residents, and could really feel the positive energy. The community has been going through a renovation to update its halls and rooms so if you haven't been in lately, I highly suggest you take a tour. Their therapy team is all their employees as well so your loved one will get consistency with the same staff. I was very impressed with this community and will continue to recommend it to anyone needing skilled rehab and long term care.

I cant recommend this nursing and rehab facility enough! The staff is incredibly friendly and caring, and the facility is always clean. The clinical team is exceptional - knowledgeable, attentive, and truly dedicated to providing top-notch care. The rehab team is equally impressive, tailoring their approach to each residents needs. I have a family member at Jefferson Manor.They are thriving, have made many new friends and enjoy the activities. It’s a very hard decision on where to place a loved one. The fit is great. Our decision was spot on. The staff is knowledgeable and very friendly.

I toured Jefferson Manor, and I must say it has an inviting feeling and the residents that were out and about looked happy. The staff were welcoming, especially the executive director, Nick who took the time to explain the different care areas and services offered at his facility. this team obviously knows what they are doing!

Jefferson Manor is a top notch facility for your loved ones! Not only is the facility clean and well maintained but the staff really care about their patients. The Social Services Department is always ready to assist with any issues that arise and also willing to provide services needed for your family to the best of their ability. If you are looking for a great facility for short term rehab for a loved one, Jefferson Manor is the place to go! Not only do they have high care reviews, but they are also one of the only facilities in the city that offers in-SNF dialysis service, so no more going out to an outpatient center for long hours for your dialysis care! The company has great values, the staff is warm and inviting, and I would recommend this place to anyone!

My 95 year old grandmother came here after a bout of Covid. The staff is top notch, the facility is very clean and smells good. The rooms are large and private. The staff were personable and spoiled her during her stay. I would recommend 1000 times over!

If you want to be uncomfortable and ignored unless family is present...this is definitely the place. Room ceilings are dirty. Food is cold and horrible and staff is either on their phones or busy doing nothing. My brother is very unhappy with the service at this facility. We need to move him ASAP.

Yes I would like to say that my two weeks here have been wonderful between my physical therapy all the people there are terrific I just love them all ❤️ And all the staff and everyone that helped take care of me all the ladies are so lovely and kind and they work very hard I just love them all they all know who they are I'm not good with names because I have a short-term memory problem. Let’s face it nobody wants to go to a facility for short term rehab or long term care or even work at one!! But I picked Jefferson Manor!! I love it!! They have the best caregivers in the business!! The management staff is top notch!! If you have to put your loved ones in a facility, here’s the one that is the closest to a home environment you will ever find!! For anyone that needs short term rehab or long term care, this is the place to go! The staff are very friendly, helpful, and they actually care about your needs! They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable while you are recovering at their facility. The facility is clean and well maintained. Their daily activities help to keep the residents entertained during their stay and it boosts the morale of the home itself. I would recommend a stay at this facility!

I am the last to write a review unless it’s positive, but I do want it to be known. The mistreatment to the patients absolutely blows my mind. My sweet grandfather begs me everyday to be removed from this rancid facility. The low staff, the horrid food, I could go on. MAKE CHANGES! He stayed in feces for over 3 HOURS!

Jefferson Manor has a wonderful staff and provides a great working environment. The staff always puts the residents and patients first in order to ensure they enjoy their time at Jefferson Manor.

This is a for-profit business. I hope you will invest in some bariatric bed sheets Or even regular bed sheets, so people don't have to be laying on mattresses. As a visitor I was appalled that some of the residents don't have sheets to sleep on. Also, some of the aides are walking around with earbuds on, you can't catch their attention. I think you ought to have that for after hours or lunch break only. This place needs to tighten up.
