Overall, we feel like they promised more than they could deliver. The staff are good for the most part, but there are not enough staff to adequately care for all the residents. It is not uncommon to wander the halls on all floors and not find any staff. It is a lovely place, but I think it is better for those requiring less care or at least without any dementia.

Acquaintance · May 2025

My mom drinks decaf coffee. She has to for medical reasons but they will not serve it. I keep getting lots of promises but I never see it as an option and mom says she takes coffee with her to dinner so that she can have some. And the meals are her biggest complaint. She says nothing is really very good that it's just so-so and jumps on the opportunity to eat out. The biggest thing mom would say is friendly staff. She loves that everyone is always so friendly and willing to help she says

Acquaintance · April 2025

Unfortunately, our experience with Fields of Florence was so bad that our loved one was moved out of the facility in 30 days. Too many empty promises and disappointments with subpar food, mediocre care, and insensitive local management when it came to our legitimate concerns. We will never recommend Fields of Florence to anyone. They need to tell the truth at the start and keep the promises they make to new residents and their family members.

Acquaintance · April 2025

My Mom had dementia and wasn't receiving enough attention in the assisted living. She was taken to the ER 3 times. She never got see the podiatrist or get her hair cut. I cleaned her unit because it wasn't vacuumed and the toilet l was obviously dirty. Once no one took out the garbage or another time her laundry wasn't done. She stopped going to the dining room so they brought food to her but she didn't eat it. On her last trip to the ER t g ey diagnosed her with a failing heart and said she needed hospice. So I moved her to facility in Cincinnati. She's at [community removed]. It's costly room and board but they have their own listing Primary Care, Psychiatrist and Podiatrist. They have regular PT staff. Each floor has a head nurse, and assistant nurse and at aides. It's very nice. And it's what she needed. Maybe if she'd been moved to your Memory Care unit she'd have done better. With her failing heart and other medical needs, she's best at a nursing home with hospice services. I know it's difficult to hire good aides and housekeeping staff, but that is one major thing that would make your facility better. Also, if you have dementia folks, don't leave them sitting alone day after day. Personally I wouldn't recommend the facility at all and I'd never want to live there myself.

Acquaintance · April 2025

The cleanliness and the staff would get a 0. Awful! Don't send people there. What they could improve on would be Cleanliness!!! My mom's room hadn't been cleaned for weeks, if not longer, and smelled of feces. They tried to argue that it was checked after I complained and was clean.

Acquaintance · April 2025

Overall things fairly good. Am having problems with medicines, mostly insulin records. Food ok but often not as advertised. No condiments , butter or jelly. Actives every day but often not so much for men. Most of staff very good and friendly. Some of problems incurred due to staffing problems being worked on with new supervisor.

Acquaintance · April 2025

The staff is very caring and works together to ensure the residents are taken care of. My mother would prefer that the food be more healthy. I have only personally eaten there once. I had the turkey tetrazzini. It looked like it had been sitting in the pan a very long time. The taste and texture were not good and I was only able to eat a few bites.

Acquaintance · February 2025

They do a great sales pitch but don't actually do the things they said they would do. They don't escort mom to meals as promised. They are ok with her sleeping all day and not eating. They don't reach out to let us know she isn't doing well

Unspecified · February 2025

Fields of Florence does not offer all the things that they said they did when I signed my mother up. They are supposed to do several things like accommodating dietary restrictions, but they cannot do that. They never have enough staff. They even made care plans and they don't abide by it (I've spoken with the doctor multiple times). The bus for transportation that they're supposed to provide doesn't work. It's been down for months and they have no estimated time on when it's going to be fixed. They charge for literally doing nothing. The lady there was nice, though. They serve weird foods that they don't like. The facility is very nice-looking. It looks professional, pretty, and they keep it decorated. They have a lot of activities that they offer on-site that are really good. My mother enjoys them.

Unspecified · January 2025

Great place and very friendly. Mom is always happy every time I'm there. Very clean as well. Thank you all for recommending this place and convincing us to take her there. I can tell it's really helpful

Visitor · January 2025

I had been looking for a nice place for our mother & when I toured this facility, I felt it was perfect for our mom-it's designed for wht's in the patients best interest - and having such a great & friendly staff just adds to tht scenario- I was truly amazed how well & how fast my mother adjusted to her new "apartment"! It is such a lovely facility & has different features to accommodate activities or having a lounge area just to relax- my mom is in the memory care unit & it appears to fit her needs perfectly- which is a huge relief to myself & my brothers- I would highly recommend this facility to others looking for a nice place for a loved one!

Acquaintance · January 2025

I think for the price this place is great. The facility itself is very clean and all of the workers are super friendly. Never once did I see a worker on their cell phone which really caught my attention. Once my mom started declining, she needed more assistance and I feel like the attention was not given to her like it should have been. Also, please ensure that all of the paperwork is on file at all times.

Acquaintance · December 2024

Overall smooth transition for my mom. There was some confusion with when and where my mom was receiving her medicine but the staff was quick to attend to it. Beautiful facility with many opportunities for socializing, staff is very approachable and willing to help.

Unspecified · December 2024

I worked here for close to a year I quit because it's slowly turning into a nursing home and the patients who are there cannot get the proper care due to the ones that should be in memory care and they treat staff like crap and don't want to pay them especially what they are worth. I worked fourty plus hours and they changed your hours and don't pay you! Wouldn't recommend working there nor staying there

Acquaintance · November 2024

Its a nice place no big complaints other than i feel they could ask residents if they need help with tv, phone etc everyday. My mom doesn't ask because she thinks shes bothering them. It would also be nice if they would provide toilet paper.

Acquaintance · November 2024

I’m not sure what the issue is, but this place is not where you want your loved one living. They sometimes forget to bring meals, don’t return laundry timely, new employees weekly due to turnover, poor quality food, and poor leadership. Just keep looking, don’t go to this place.

Acquaintance · October 2024

My bro was there one hour before eloping Went back about a week later to the secure area and lasted 24 hours before elopement Oversight / security/ observation lacking Met with administrator ( he was not forthcoming ) Made promises in regard to refunds that still have not happen -- ( that meeting was 2 months ago ) He won't return phone calls Talked with corporate - awaiting on return phone call that they said would happen 2 days ago. I have never as much sent a complaint letter in my life or even done a review I understand that some places my not be good fits, and I accept that Our family accepted that after what happened and was ready to move on. But the follow up meeting is what pretty much set things off with misrepresentations, promises that we're not kept , and subsequent radio silence. Improvements needed: -better screening -actually do what you say you will do( if you don't know how to redirect an Alzheimer's patient , don't say you can - return phone calls -when mistakes are made, admit them, and move on , don't misrepresent, or lie about them - follow up on what you say your going to do - there is no reason for someone to be spending hours/days trying to get you to do what you said you would do

Acquaintance · October 2024

He was "living" there for 3 months but spent all but about 48 hours of that time in the hospital or in PT rehab. We moved him out as we feel going forward he will need more care than they can or will provide. The staff was friendly in passing, but the two times he needed their help and called for them, no one came for over 45 minutes

Unspecified · October 2024

I can’t say enough about the staff at Fields of Florence. From the director to the caregivers, office, housekeeping, bistro, maintenance, they are the friendliest and most caring humans. I am so grateful to them. I sleep well at night knowing that my father is in good hands. Highly recommend!

Acquaintance · September 2024

The care services gets a 5+. They have gone above and beyond taking care of my mother's needs and integrating her into their facility. When it comes to the activities, they provide a variety of activities for the residents to participate in. Yes, we would definitely recommend this community to other families based on the experience

Visitor · September 2024

A place for mom was very helpful in giving me the options I wanted. They gave me places to call in the tri-state Cinci area which is where my mom lives. I didn’t have to do a lot of research trying to find assisted living places as they did the work for me. Thanks

Acquaintance · September 2024

The experience has been good. I picked this community because it was referred by you.

Acquaintance · September 2024

When my Dad reached the point of needing assistance with daily activities, finding the right place for him seemed to be an overwhelming task. He lived independently and very actively, even at the age of 94, so accepting the help of others wasn’t easy. We knew it would take a special place with just the right people in order for him to thrive. After touring several places, Fields of Florence stood out as the clear choice, and that decision was reinforced after we moved Dad into his apartment there. The care team, the support staff, and the administrators all exceeded our expectations. To a person they were caring, compassionate, accommodating and deeply engaged in getting to know my Dad and helping him get the most out of his new home. At a difficult time when my Dad was losing his independence, the Fields of Florence team managed to turn that loss into an uplifting and encouraging experience. We are very grateful to have found them.

Resident · September 2024

They are very good. They keep our rooms nice and and clean. Give assistance when needed. Help us in whatever way possible .i like the atmosphere and the activities. I like the staff . They feel like family!

Acquaintance · September 2024

We chose this facility because of the price for length of time my mom may have left. We want the money we have to house mom for as long as possible. And they were very welcoming, friendly, treated us like family immediately when i toured. I love Fields of Florence and their staff. They are great with my mom. This facility is the cheapest around. The staff is very personable and treats you as if you are their family not just their customer.

Acquaintance · September 2024

My loved one doesn't need a lot of care but they do check in with him and early appointments they make sure he's up. My loved one doesn't participate in bingo or coloring but he does enjoy the times they're in the Bistro or outside concert loves going with some of the gang to eat out. I feel the cost is in line with the rest of the places.

Acquaintance · August 2024

The memory care team was phenomenal, going above and beyond what they were required to do. The temporary administrator was great as well making the paperwork and understanding of care provided easy to understand, explaining everything in detail. The next administrator did not even last a month when we found out that the Louisville administrator from that location had taken over and that's where all communication had broken down. The woman that performed my mother's admission evaluation was telling us all was fine but the nurses lead aide was telling us she needed to be moved to a skilled facility. At the next appointment with the hospice nurse she was asked to call me and tell me that my mother was no longer able to stay at Inperations of Florence. We met with the new admission woman after the previous was let go I'm assuming because of this conflict between all parties, at this time we were asked to remove my mother which I said no because we did not have another facility to take her, at that time she said an eviction notice would be sent which I told her to do what she had to. (Not a very understanding individual) but at least that gave me some time to find another facility (Wrong) now they are sending my mother out every time she is found out of bed claiming a unseen fall had occurred, after several of these claims I asked the EMT for the last incident take her to the hospital and keep her there until the Warsaw facility was ready for her arrival which the social work had found and helped setup, she stayed in the hospital until her move to [name removed] for her final days. I commend the team at both memory care units for doing a excellent job taking care of my mother but the management at what was Inspirations of Florence is possibly why the name for that facility has been changed again

Acquaintance · August 2024

The Fields of Florence is a beautiful facility with friendly and helpful staff. I’m glad A Place for Mom suggested a tour. My father has been there for a couple of months now! It’s like a hotel but with the support one needs. I enjoy visiting him there and know he is in good hands.

Acquaintance · August 2024

Great place to have your elderly parents or grandparents! The staff is fabulous… the facility is clean and tons of daily activities for their residents! Highly recommend a tour if you are looking for assisted living or memory care for your loved one!

Unspecified · August 2024

It is a very nice place to go. Both people working there and the clients all seem to have smiles on their faces when I went. The entrance is gorgeous, and parking is quite ample for visitors. The entryway is certainly ADA accessible if you're looking to have your loved one picked up for social gatherings and medical appointments.

Acquaintance · July 2024

The location seems to be a benefit to us and I think the price is reasonable. I am waiting to see if there is a large increase the first of the year as this new company took over in late February. The biggest issue we have is the food which is a major deal for seniors. I'm hoping to schedule a meeting with the director to see why they are doing some of the things. My loved one was offered a bologna sandwich for dinner last night which was not what they considered dinner.

Acquaintance · July 2024

This is a great facility! It is under new ownership and now called Fields of Florence. It is a fairly new facility, clean, and has a small memory care unit. Those were just a few reasons we decided to go with this facility over others. I would recommend them to others looking.

Acquaintance · July 2024

All of the staff are friendly. The activities gets a 5 but our loved one is unable to participate in them. It would have helped if he had full nursing care but it was not available at that time. Over all we were very satisfied. I would absolutely recommend this community to other families based on the experience I have had so far.

Acquaintance · May 2024

Overall. Seems lower than total due to a few minor issues like getting into mailbox has went unresolved. Cleanliness of facility is good but for a 5 needs to clean room more consistently.Great leadership staff gives them a 5 for friendliness. But other workers are coming and going quickly

Acquaintance · May 2024

Things are going really well Everyone is friendly and helpful. When it comes to the activities, they seem to more activities with other residence and not so many with memory care. For the value for cost, although it is expensive, it was very helpful getting a companion suite and I appreciate them working with us on that. Even when her first roommate did not work out, they worked on finding a good fit for her.

Acquaintance · February 2024

It has been a good choice all around. I picked Inspirations because, it was narrowed down to 2 and they offered a 15% discount. It was good timing so I jumped on it. I would recommend to others. I would like a Sunday service made available on a regular basis whether in person or televised...

Acquaintance · December 2023

Don't believe everything they tell you before you move in. We told them exactly the condition my brother was in. When he got there and they found out that he was exactly like we said he was, they sent us a CERTIFIED LETTER - EVICTING him - and we had 30 days to get him out. For a religious institution, that was most UN-Christian.

Acquaintance · November 2023

Overall we are very happy. The staff is awesome. It is always very clean. Is there a perfect place , I'm not sure but this one comes close. The minute I walked in there was a feeling of home. A Place for Mom told me to listen to my gut and I did

Acquaintance · September 2023

Nice and clean people friendly food good and close to family. Very positive experience.

Acquaintance · August 2023

The price was most reasonable out of all the places we investigated. Some individuals were top notch. There was not proper room for memory care patients, ours only had a recliner...no bed. It sort of worked in our case, but had to share a room with patient with a bed. They are priced fairly and do negotiate and I would recommend, but not for memory care patients unless they make substantial changes.

Acquaintance · August 2023

The reason we gave it an overall 4 out of 5 rating is because the management changes to often. However our loved one is on the memory care side and the staff members there are caring. They have a nice structure to day. Inspirations of Florence is an awesome community.

Unspecified · July 2023

I've been here almost 3 years (Aug 2020). It took awhile to adjust to my new environment and to be honest it was a struggle at first. We now have a new administration and its working out very well. I am very pleased with our New Chef, Miss Kennedy and up to the top, our new Director, Elise Sebastian. As a matter of fact, I now feel like it's home for me and the community is now my family! Our RA's are wonderful and the housekeeping is great too, they are are part of my new family, as my family live in Massachusetts and Florida.

Acquaintance · June 2023

They went out of their way to accommodate our needs and they continue to work with what is best for Mom.Mom had a bumpy start, but they worked with us, and she seems alot more comfortable now. Everyone is very friendly. I have walked in when they are doing group activites. They have gotten to know about Mom and use that information to help guide her. I would strongly recommend.

Unspecified · June 2023

Unfortunately there is not too much good to say about this community. It has been destroyed by a company that wants money and not care about their residents. They are trying to revamp their image but there have been too many State investigations of abuse and neglect. Many people were fired because of abuse of their memory care residents. It's a shameful situation because it's a beautiful community. They keep deleting people's bad reviews, so it goes to show what they are about.

Acquaintance · June 2023

As a family we were very pleased with the care of my father in law. When he first got there he could socialize with the other clients. As time passed ( quickly) he became more isolated within himself. The staff continued to encourage him ( and the family). It was sad he had to leave his home but he was at a great place. We appreciate all the help and care your organization gave. Thank you.

Unspecified · May 2023

Well kept and updated facility in a excellent location. The monthly rate is a good value for 3 meals a day and all other services included. Its a good option for our loved one to age in place with reasonably priced additional tiers of care available. The apartment is secure and private with well equipped kitchen and bathroom. The main entry is secured as well. Overall it gives our loved one a feel of home and comfort. Sara was excellent to work with and made the sign up experience hassle and worry free.

Unspecified · April 2023

I’m the hairdresser here at inspirations, I hardly have time to eat but I grabbed a quick lunch today and it was amazing! The residents said the dining experience has greatly improved since Kennedy Jones has started and I got to see for myself! Great job Kennedy!

Unspecified · April 2023

Inspirations of Florence is a beautiful community with exceptional care. I had the pleasure of working with Sarah which made this process way less daunting. Anyone sending their loved one to this community should feel very confident. My family is beyond grateful for the personal care Sarah and the care staff gave to us

Acquaintance · April 2023

The interaction with the staff, sas been good. I am very happy with her care. She is in the memory care unit. I recommend it. They offer; Arts crafts, beach ball kick, word (phrase) games, movies, spa day (nails). Activities is listed on board in the activity area.
