Reviews
for Grant Healthcare and Rehabilitation
Great place and great staff that really care about the residents and treat them like family.
Great place! 10/10 recommend! Administer here is great! Everyone really cares about the residents!
The staff here truly care about the residents, it is a fun environment for all, it is very clean and you'll always be welcomed with a smile. This is a small town and the facility treats everyone like family.
Grant is a great place to work.people are friendly and it's family oriented.it is all about family and taking care of our residents
Activity department rocks! Nursing department very good! Top notch therapy department!”
Staff cares deeply about the residents.
I wrote a long review and deleted. But..all I will say is...if your loved one is here..that you care for and have visited on a monthly basis, driving from Ohio to Kentucky...if they die, they may not even notify you...yep. it really did happen.
Dedicated to Clients and family’s!
Great first impression. Clean, great staff. Feel parent is safe and taken care of.
I know the office staff go the extra mile to make sure their residents are happy and live the best life they can. They’re always there to advocate for their residents and put together things for the holidays to keep their residents included in the holidays seasons.
I am really impressed with how management and staff are going above and beyond to include residents. Treating them with love and understanding, I have seen several residents with smiles on their face as they feel involved. A place that strives to be a family.
Anytime I’ve visited the staff are very friendly and place is very clean they take good care of their patients.
Great clean healthcare facility. The staff cares for their patients and provides the quality of care I would want for myself if I were a patient. I have had family members as patients in this facility, and was very happy with the care they received.
Grant is the best place to work, great team work, good staff
Great environment to work!
Grant is a great place to work.
Good place for senior care and very friendly
I have been at Grant for close to 4 years now. We have made some changes in our Nursing staff and management team. These changes have created a caring and kind environment for the residents and the staff. I am pround to be a part of it.
The worst place to put your loved one. Only one good nurse out of the whole staff. My child was not taken care of. Left in urine, wasn't rechecked for a uti when she clearly had a bad one, was told they would check several times. Refused to send to hospital on several different occasions when she passed out. I informed them she had a heart condition they said it was due to her being a paraplegic. She had no ac for over a month until I let them know I would be calling board of health. On top of everything they didn't send discharge paper work to ssi, we are fighting for her to get her check now. The windows are screwed down so you can't get out. Tom messes with people who smoke trying to say he's going to stop smoke breaks or that they are allowed to only have one cigarette. The worst place to ever put someone.
I just want to give the entire staff at Grant Health and Rehab a great big Thank You for a great experience while dealing with moving my sister to the facility. Everything about this facility is professional yet personable to a tee. What I was told would happen did and they went to extra lengths to help me during this time of stress. They have been the only facility to do that since I’ve been dealing with this situation. Thank you to everyone and great job Thank you all. Ronnie Sechrest
Very nice place, they take extremely good care of my mother in law.
Everyone was excellent and very courteous and kind. Very good group of workers at Grant Healthcare and Rehabilitation.
My Mother has been here a year. She is well taken care of. Staff is great.
It is a Great place 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂 I love it here.
I think it's great here, if you need help this is where you want to be. I wanna stay here, everyone is so good to me.
Great people to work with. Very nice staff
While nursing facilities all have their shortcomings they need to work on, the staff was good to me and I am grateful for the care I received.
YEARS AGO THIS PLACE WAS AWFUL....UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT IT HAS TURNED AROUND. THE STAFF ARE WONDERFUL. THE CNA'S ARE GREAT. JILL IS THE BEST WE LOVE HER.
Great place to get placebos! When your loved one is admitted to the ER and tests negative for drugs they were prescribed, it will leave you wondering how the scheduled drugs are administered and overseen. This would have meant at least 18 missed/substituted/diverted doses administered by nursing staff according to average metabolism. There are some great staff that make your stay worthwhile, and really care for you on a personal level. There are some that are under investigation for abuse by the Ombudsman's office. If you have a loved one here, please visit often. Take time to meet the staff and especially administration. Make sure they are comfortable, well fed, and treated with respect.
My niece has been in here for less than a year in that short time she has become wheelchair bound ,she was walking when she went in ! put on 30 lbs.,not giving therapy .has had 2 UTI, falling 3 times, broke her foot in 4 places and layed in pain for 2days before they had it checked out.Do not put your loved ones in this place. She is dirty, clothes are dirty, chin has hair on it all the time. She had a brand new shaver it disappeared a week after she got there .desperately looking for a new place to place her .
I live at grant for about 7 years and it's recently been taken over by silver view and their dietary is run by level two and the food they put out there is awful for example macaroni product with corn that's it or hot dog on the bun and just coleslaw and it's in some and small portions p so it's hard to live on that. And it's getting worse by the day!
Needed to get my mother in law into a nursing home asap as her health is declining rapidly. We got put on a waiting list for what they said would be a couple months and they said they would be proscessing her insurance. We called after a couple months and they couldn't find her info. So back to waiting, then there was a covid break out at the facility and we had to wait longer. Finally, no more covid outbreak, they are finally processing her insurance, and it will only be a couple more weeks. After insurance was processed, they must not have liked how much they were going to be getting from Medicaid cause all the sudden, they can't take in a patient that need her level of care, even though we've been in contact with them for months. Thanks for wasting our time when we could have been looking elsewhere. Now we are desparate. Completely disorganized and extremely hard to get a hold of anyone who knows what they are talking about.
Fiance was sent there by drs to get help with getting strength back after his massive heart attack and TIA. He was there over 8 hours without his medication and when I called they said they are waiting for them to come from pharmacy. They knew he was coming 2 days in advance and still weren't ready for him. That's not a good thing since his life now depends on those medications.
Grandma's in here. She says they're really good to her. My mind is somewhat eased hearing her say that.
No TVs,smells terrible .got to buy own cold drinks. Place is a joke
Great staff.
This place is ran by genesis corporation for profit. With a substandard for the quality of care the staff wear there corparate mask and turn a blind eye to what they know is wrong your family wont recieve treatment unless you request forr your family to recieve care and if you say anything to the staff about your careplan they will call the cops and trespass your family which is against xyout federal rights this place is a replica to bridgepointnursing home in florence. Ky
The staff are always involved with the residents. You can tell the co workers have a good relationship with one another. The aides and nurses are always working hard to make the residents happy. It's a great place!
I absolutely love the staff!! Couldn't ask for a better group of people
This place smells like urine and they don't want to do anything except tell patients what they want to hear and tell family what they want to hear they leave patients lay in beds soaked in urine any facility that does this should be shut down apparently the head housekeeper doesn't know what the state requirements are
This is a wonderful place! I've been having some health issues and they haveven been right on top of it! They are great!
This Nursing Home is great, the staff really care about residents and you can tell as soon as you walk in the building. Keep up the great work!!
I have had a great experience here and if anyone needs therapy I greatly recommend this facility for all your therapy needs the aides and nurses are top notch as well and they all need raises
The staff is great and so involved. I really enjoy watching them interact with residents. They are so engaged and helpful. I love watching the staff always go above and beyond for their residents.
Cool place will return
Had a lot of fun at the Easter party. I loved how involved the staff was!!
I was invited to attend their 1st annual Easter egg hunt! Was very impressed with staff involvement. So refreshing to see people do what they love!!! Many residents were out enjoying all the festivities, egg hunt, cake walk, tattoo table, food and a great basket raffle!!! What a great community they have made for their residents!❤️
