Hometown Manor Assisted Living Community

Our experience has been great. The staff has been incredibly patient and caring during my mother’s transition into assisted living. They helped to connect us w the PA assigned to Lawrenceburg Hometown manor who has been a Godsend!

After 2 1/2 months our mother seems happy and she likes the staff and other residents. She likes the food and is eating more than she did in her home before she moved. She says she stays warm, which was one of her concerns about moving from her own home. She enjoys sitting on the front porch with the other residents and likes watching the birds around the feeders. My brother and I live out of state but we spend a few days each month visiting with her and we feel welcomed and comfortable there. The staff are great. It’s taking a long time to resolve her long term insurance coverage apparently due to some communication issues between companies and that has been frustrating and unsettling.

I love everything about this place.

My mother is a current resident of Hometown Manor Assisted Living, Lawrenceburg. The facility is clean, everybody has their own rooms, and they do showering twice a week. I believe there are 12 residents in the facility. They cook three meals a day. It's just a very nice facility for anybody that needs assisted living and the employees are very kind. The rooms are nice, everybody has their own half bath, you have a closet, they're nice size rooms. They have two different sized rooms, they have mostly your regular sized rooms, and then they have a couple of the larger sized rooms. It's just a basic house. The activities they do, they play bingo, on holidays they paint and do things that fit with the holidays. They don't do a whole lot, but they try to keep the residents happy and have little things to do for them. The staff is good and my mom is enjoying the meals. I think they can have more activities, but I would recommend it to people.

We love Hometown!!! They are always so sweet and staff truly care about their elders!!!! A great partnership between Heritage Hall and Hometown!!!!

Wonderful place to call home! Inviting and sweet with the best staff around. Residents are happy here and you can tell it when you walk in the door!

My grandmother is a current resident there and we all LOVE it. She has dementia and uses a walker, making it unsafe to live with the family due to us having multiple sets of stairs, but I think she prefers to stay there anyways. She tells me every time I see her, “When I retire (she’s been retired for 10+ years), I think I’m going to move there for good!”. The other elders are super friendly and welcomed her to their family right away, and now, she watches old western movies on the couch (she even has a certain spot), with her new boyfriend. It is overall a wonderful, safe place with an amazing staff that is SO helpful and sweet. 10/10 would recommend!
