My family and I are deeply disappointed and heartbroken by the care our family member received in this facility. She was treated with a shocking lack of respect and compassion. After suffering a stroke, she was left sitting in bed for extended periods without proper repositioning or hygiene, ultimately developing painful pressure ulcers鈥攁 clear sign of neglect.
She fell multiple times under their care, hitting her head multiple times never taken to the hospital to check for a brain bleed and each incident was preventable. These falls were brushed off without adequate follow-up or concern. It wasn鈥檛 until her condition worsened dramatically that she was finally sent to the hospital.
This facility failed to provide basic standards of care, ignored her medical needs, and treated her with indifference instead of dignity. No family should have to watch a loved one suffer like this.
If you care about your family member鈥檚 well-being, please reconsider entrusting them to this facility.
I was fired for having a allergic reaction to the cockroaches in. The pt's rms at night. Residents are so scared of the bugs, infested with big black flying cockroaches. At night. Check on your family members. Please
I am so thrilled at the care and cleanliness of this facility!! My brother has been here for 2 months now for rehab...Ally, Sondra, and many more I know I have forgotten the names...sorry...but also Rick Seal the main Director has gone above and beyond to help my brother in many ways! Not just physically but mentally and caring... my brother had been on 2 other facilities that could care less about the human person...our family was so scared for his well being... Until I found this place (Klondike)... we all are at ease with him being there... Thank You so Much to All the staff... from the Laundry to his meals... each and everyone of you I gi e Praise!!!! May God bless you as you bless your patients and permanent residents!! Well done my friends 馃А

Unspecified 路 February 2025 Exceptional Care and Compassionate Staff!
As the Administrator of Klondike Nursing and Rehabilitation, I am incredibly proud of the exceptional care our team provides every day. Our staff is dedicated to ensuring every resident feels safe, comfortable, and truly at home.
The cleanliness of our facility, the delicious meals prepared by our dietary team, and the attention to detail in every aspect of our care make Klondike N&R a wonderful place for residents to thrive. We are honored to be a part of their journey and will continue to provide the highest level of care possible.
If you鈥檙e looking for a place where your loved one will be treated with dignity, respect, and kindness, I highly recommend Klondike Nursing and Rehabilitation!

Acquaintance 路 September 2015 Some people were very nice... And that's it. Medical care non-existant. Treatment of patients shamefull at times and they knew I was there in the room! [removed] Refused to give medication. Caused great distress to myself, from having to fight for patients. Set back treatment, valuable time, of dementia for months. I will never know the damage that was done -- and still had to pay a large bill due to Medicare no longer paying.
Unspecified 路 November 2013 My husband is at Klondike Care and Rehab Center. The staff is very caring. They interact with the patients constantly. Even on their breaks, they were outside with their patients. They always speak to them by name. They are more like a family that staff. The administrator in the nursing facility always makes it a point in helping and they are always out with the patients during the day. They don't stay in their offices. I think the care that they give the patients is better than what my husband had received in other nursing and rehab places. They have private room. But my husband is in a semi-private room. The rooms were very clean and adequate. They have a lot of daily activities. They have people who come in and provide entertainment. They have outings once or twice a month for people who are able to go out. The food is adequate. However, I don鈥檛 think the food is as good as it can be.
Dad lived here for about two months. We chose this facility in large part because it was close to Dad's friends and church. Initially, we found the staff very helpful and attentive. The facility seemed small for the number of residents, especially given the high percentage using wheelchairs. And there were body/fecal odors occasionally, which concerned us a bit. Before moving Dad there, we talked with the staff at length about some dementia-related behaviors which could cause trouble. They assured us they could handle it, perhaps with medication adjustment if necessary. But when the behavior manifested, they sent him out to a geriatric psychiatric facility for an extended stay, with no prior notice to us or other options given. It was quite traumatic for Dad. After trying to work with staff to find out if Dad would be allowed to return and what measures would be taken to avoid this in the future, and getting completely different answers from various staff members, we decided Klondike was not the place for Dad. We moved Dad to a different facility, where he has lived peacefully, well-cared for, and without incident for the last six months.
