Bardstown Health and Rehab has been a great place for our Mom to stay. My sister and me really love the special care the staff provides!
My mother is receiving excellent care from all of the staff.
Such sweet and caring staff. They take such good care of my mom. Thank you, Bardstown Health & Rehabilitation 馃憦
Wonderful place with a great staff
We had a wonderful experience with this rehab facility. The staff was incredibly patient, compassionate, and attentive with their clients. After my mom fell and broke her hip, she was sent here for recovery, and they had her back on her feet and walking again much sooner than we expected. They always took the time to answer my questions and made sure we felt informed and supported every step of the way. I鈥檓 truly grateful for the care they provided.
Bardstown Health and Rehab is a wonderful skilled nursing facility that truly cares about its residents. The staff are warm, professional, and attentive, creating a comfortable and supportive environment for both short-term rehab and long-term care. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the team goes above and beyond to make residents feel at home. From nursing to therapy to dietary services, every department shows dedication and compassion. I highly recommend Bardstown Health and Rehab to anyone looking for quality care for a loved one.
Bardstown is a great facility to place you loved one. Great experience!
My dad was at Landmark of Bardstown for 20 days. All the staff from when you enter the front door to the ladies who bring in the meals, were very kind and compassionate. His therapy was wonderful. They prepared him to be able to be mobile on the different terrain that he has at his home. Instead of just going to the gym every day, they would go outside and walk in like a rocky area because his driveway has rocks. I was just very happy with the total staff. The nursing home was very clean. There were lots of activities. I noticed that some of the senior residents had crafts and door decorations, and they tried to make it as homey feeling as they can. I would give it a 5. If he ever had to go back, I would go that route.
I can't be any happier. When my dad left, all the staff got in line and cheered for him. They have a beauty/barber salon, they have church activities, they have bingo, they have crafting, and of course, they have the different therapies that come in. They have a separate gymnasium with different types of equipment. He was only there for 20 days, and he didn't participate in any of the bingo or the social activities that they had. Every patient's room had a calendar for the month, and they had whatever activity going on for that day listed on the calendar.
Unspecified 路 October 2021 We placed my mom in the Landmark of Bardstown yesterday. It's a nice nursing care community. My father was there too when he got sick, so she's in the same place he was in.
They have activities, nursing on board, rehabilitation, and 3 meals a day plus snacks.
So far, the staff has been pretty accommodating. They moved her to another room, they already had one room readily available for her, but they decided they wanted to move her to another room that was closer to the nurse's desk so they could keep a better eye on her. They moved her closer to where they could monitor her.
The facility is very clean. They have built on the facility and remodeled it since my father was there.
I saw their activity calendar while I was moving my mom in yesterday, and they've got activities and therapy planned every day.
Unspecified 路 October 2018 If I could leave zero stars I would! Had a family member here for rehab and it鈥檚 like the staff expected her to be able to take care of herself! Waited for over 30 min to have assistance to use the restroom! I don鈥檛 really know what鈥檚 going on here, but they need to figure it out and quickly. The food wasn鈥檛 good ether. My family member was served dry spaghetti noodles with what looked like lasagna next to it and was expected to eat it. Gross! Also, what kind of health care establishment only gives patients baths twice a week!?!?!
If you are looking for a place with little or no care. Send your loved one here. The nurses and Nurses assistants they have are awesome. Very caring and nice. Just very overworked and stretched way too thin. Not near enough . I am guessing but ratio I can see is about 41 patients to a Nurse and 2 PA's. So get ready to stay with your loved ones.
My Grandma in here for rehab. Not sure a PA at all assigned for rehab unit. I have spent day after day with her. Food is not good. Housekeeping very scarce. Bathroom changes scarce. Sorry to say. I wish I could say it was wonderful. I really do. I appreciate all the Nurses. PA"s. And all the help that you people gave to my 100. Year. Old Grandma. Thank you. You will always have a special place in my heart.
Unspecified 路 September 2017 I feel sorry for anyone who has to be there very poor service most of staff doesn't care about the old and sick at this place very very poor care here staff said my father was ready to go home after complaint was made about poor care from staff he was made to fight for air because his trake was blocked nurses were to busy to help him for 1 hr made him go home Saturday at 100 pm he died at 120 pm going through the front door to his home staff said he was fine or maybe to much care needed there fault he is dead that's what I think beware people not all is right at this place
Unspecified 路 September 2012 My experience with the facility was a positive one. During the meeting with the staff, it was apparent they were very hands on with my client. They were extremely involved in his care and well-being. The facility was clean for the most part. However; upon entering the consumers room, it smelled of urine. The room was dark and uninviting. Residents of the facility were spread out in a room sitting in wheelchairs. Although it is difficult for them to get around, it would have been nice to see them interacting with others more. Overall, the facility was serving its residence in a positive way.
