I was very apprehensive about placing my sister in a skilled nursing facility. However, from the beginning, Ronda made the admission process seamless, Bill (the administrator) was available to answer all of my random questions, and all of the nursing staff were wonderful. Communication with all levels of staff has been amazing. I’m very thankful to have somewhere that will take care of my sister as well as they do.
Rhonda was so helpful in getting my Mom placed in Life care. Since Mom has been at Life Care she has received very good care.
All the ladies treat my mom so sweetly and are very caring and compassionate.
Loved the nurses and the CNS's. Everyone went above and beyond. I was in a wheelchair when I went in and know I can walk with a cane or collateral because of the great therapy. I was ashamed to come out of my room and do anything but thanks to Ronda,Stella, Bill, the late Tony and the great CNA's for bringing me out of my shell.
Unspecified · February 2025 With the weather we’ve been having, I’ve seen a lot of posts and tiktoks bashing their workplaces for expecting people to show up. While I agree not all places are essential; mine is. Just because there’s snow and ice out, doesn’t mean my residents don’t need to be properly taken care of. And I take my job to heart, I love my little old people. This weekend is not the first time while being employed at life care that I have volunteered to stay the night and work my days off to cover shifts. It is however the first time I brought my kids. I am so thankful for a job that doesn’t care for me to bring my kids with me whether it’s days off from school, after school, weekends, or snow storms. Being a single mom to 5, it’s hard being away or finding people to keep them. I know how lucky I am for them not to only be able to be with me at work, but for them to be thought of. The kitchen ladies made sure they had breakfast lunch and dinner and snacks. My boss went out today to get everyone including my kids pizza. The kids had an entire room to themselves to sleep. I know there’s alot of complaining about jobs like ours, but I’m truly thankful and blessed to work where I do and with the people I do. ❤️
Unspecified · January 2025 I'm sad that 3 years ago my father had a medical emergency...(heart attack) and I had to leave early to assist him. I was then told I'm not rehirable due to missing a text message??!??!?! A TEXT MESSAGE when I'm at a hospital 3 hours away that I never got. I'm just sad that I loved my job, but I got marked non rehire due to my dad being elderly and sick. That's wild.
Unspecified · October 2024 I want too thank you of the staff of morehead Life Care with the care and love they showed my wife who recently just passed away after having some time. Spent there at Life Care again. The staff always came through and I wanted to make thank them very much.
Unspecified · August 2024 Outstanding clinical care! Staff members are helpful, kind and willing to help the patients and family members any way possible. Highly Recommend!
We recently had my mother transferred from the hospital to this facility. We chose this facility because her brother was also currently there. I want to say that it has been an easy and pleasant experience. Rhonda in admissions was very helpful in answering questions and getting my mom admitted seamlessly. She made sure that we could concentrate on mom and guided us through the financial process with little effort on our part. The nursing staff is top notch and very caring towards my mom. I would highly recommend this facility.
I am very very pleased with the care being given to my mother.
Unspecified · December 2023 Ronda in patient admissions is an absolute angel along with the two Jen’s that are nurses in the North wing. All of the staff we encountered (I apologize for not knowing everyone’s names) in the few days that my mom was a resident were so genuinely wonderful. They were kinda hearted, had a great sense of humor, and were always very attentive to her needs. Thank you so much for all you’ve done for us!
Unspecified · December 2021 This place was amazing when my mother in law was a patient there. The staff was so kind and always willing to do whatever she needed! They were like family to us!
Unspecified · December 2019 My father was at this nursing home and they took very good care of him. They treated him like family. The staff is kind and very caring to the patients and the family’s. I highly recommend this facility.
Unspecified · December 2019 This place should be called Death care.
Horrible.
My experience with this assisted living provider was negative. The facility seemed to always be under-staffed. It was very smelly and somewhat dirty. Many times the residents would be pressing their call lights (help button) for several minutes before a nurse would get around to checking on that person. My grandpa developed bed sores during his stay at this facility.
