Morning Pointe of Louisville

Residents are ignored! Residents are left dirty from urine and poop and the aids get an attitude when asked to clean up the residents. The activity director is a horrible person as well. The director does not make the residents happy by planning activities they enjoy and love. The activities that are planned are for the convenience of the director only. It is a shame that our seniors and family members have to endure a horrible and uncaring staff as this. Also, the residents windows are nailed shut! Isn't this a fire hazard? Water drips from the ceiling when it rains and mold exists throughout the building. This place needs a complete overhaul and restaffing with people that actually care.

I’ve been with Morning Pointe for nearly five years, and I can confidently say our nurses are among the best I’ve ever worked with. Each one brings unique experience and dedication, allowing us to provide exceptional care to our residents. We go above and beyond to create a supportive, family-like environment where both staff and residents thrive. Morning Pointe is a fantastic place to work, and we take great pride in helping our residents live active, fulfilling lives.

Don’t have anything to do this people ; Don’t say l didn’t warn you . Go and find out for your self and discover what we discovered. A word is enough for the wise !!!

Morning Pointe Louisville is a great building, it looks very nice, home like, the vibe is very warm. All staff speak to you when you walk in and are very friendly. The management all work together great and it shows that they lead by example! Couldn’t recommend more.

The staff at this community is so caring with my loved one. They always know what's going on with them and are always keeping me informed of any changes that may occur. My mom loves it there and she loves the caregivers and the nurses. I would recommend this place to any of my friends or families looking for some where to live their best life.

My mother-in-law was there and the attention she received was phenomenal. She loved it there.

The care the residents receive in this community is top notch! The staff here love these residents like their own family. Everyone knows everyone and anticipates their needs. It is a lovely community

We are in the process of moving my mom to a new facility due to their neglectful care. Since we turned the 30 day notice required to end the contract with them, the minimal care given has gone down to practically zero!! It's ridiculous to have to repeatedly have meetings with administration to get them to do their job!! We have caught them in lies and they have an overall attitude of indignince. We have paid a lot of money for these people to care for our mom and they are basically doing little to nothing for her. I truly feel for those residents there that have no one to advocate for them!!!

I can’t thank the morning point staff enough here in Louisville for helping show my mom and me around their awesome facility last week as we start to consider the best options for her moving forward . They have so many friendly faces who work there and help make life and growing old a little easier. The food and volunteer evening entertainment were great . The building itself is a cool place to call home with Louisville street names , derby themes and statuary in the court yards. . Thank You so much , Kris and his mom , Pat !!!

My sister and I searched high and low for the perfect place for our parents. Morning Pointe provides that and more. The staff is hands down the nicest, most professional and caring people we've met. My parents said the feel safe and cared for. All the staff members have a wonderful attitude and you can tell they really do care for their residents. Facility is always neat and clean and well kept. . My entire family are beyond pleased with the care and compassion with staff. You can't go wrong with Morning Pointe.

I love Morning Point Louisville. The campus is very clean. Smells refreshing when you walk into the building. Management and staff are fabulous. I’d highly recommend Morning Pointe. It’s a place to call home.

Morning Pointe is a great facility. Everyone is kind, sweet, and ready to greet any new family members with a smile on their face.

It's hard to find a place in Louisville with the longevity in leadership that Morning Pointe has. The executive director, maintenance director and business office director have all been there 2 years or more along with several of the floor staff members and kitchen staff. This shows the dedication and passion these individuals have for the residents and their community. It feels warm and welcoming when you walk in and if you get the privilege to taste the incredible food, you will not be disappointed. The building is full of heart and love and you won't find that many places.

My mom really enjoys Morning Pointe. Once she settled in she started to attend several of the scheduled activities. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would recommend Morning Pointe to any senior and/or family looking for a comfortable place to live.

Patient complaining about bad treatment by staff.

We recently moved our mom into Morning Pointe, ironically on her birthday! MP made her first day so very special. It was a very emotional day and knowing that we were moving her to a place that took the time to make her day easier was so very comforting. We were able to set her room up with her belongings a few days before her actual move. It made a huge difference for her to see the room with her belongings. It made it feel a little like home. Everyone at MP has gone above and beyond to help us in anyway necessary to make mom happy. I highly recommend calling MP if you are looking for a safe, clean forever home for your loved ones!

When I Applied for employment here I only applied to work in assisted living personal care in the senior living assistant living building I DIDN'T APPLY AT LANTERN MORNING POINTE!!!! I was called to come in for a job interview last week and yesterday I went in which was supposed to be for my interview the job interview never happened because they tricked me into working for the Lantern which I never applied for so I left! BEWARE WHEN APPLYING TO WORK HERE THEY WILL LIE TO YOU!!!!!! And send you to work over in Lantern morning pointe when that's not where you applied to work.

We are reporting this facility to the Ky General Attorneys office. Our loved one was severely neglected multiple times. She was left sitting in urine soaked clothing and furniture. Her bathroom was atrocious and feces was everywhere. She had recently returned after a hospital visit and was unable to care for her bathroom needs. Morning Pointe was made aware of this and assured us she would be cared for and checked on every hour. This obviously didn’t happen. Due to her needing more skilled personnel care we began looking for another placement upon release from the hospital. This takes a few days and we expected Morning Pointe to follow hospital orders which they did not. We are shocked that people paid to care for others would be so neglectful.

Morning Pointe is actually prettier than the pictures show, and you can’t photograph atmosphere. Such a positive, loving place for my mom to call home!

When it came time to find care for my Mom, a good friend recommended Morning Pointe because of the wonderful care her Dad received there. I researched several places and agreed with my friend that Morning Pointe was perfect for Mom's needs. Over time, we are very pleased and happy with this decision. Everyone has been warm, attentive, knowledgeable, and professional in caring for Mom, and we are very grateful to know that she is receiving the care and attention she needs.

Friendly staff, very nice facility.

Traumatizing a patient and Deceptive actions: My mother stated to me that she was traumatized by a nurse at Morning Pointe by having several pills shoved down her throat all at one time. The Executive Director, [name removed], and the Regional VP, [name removed], at their Louisville location refuse to discuss this with me and only want to cover this up. This probably happens to other patients also since they just outright refuse to address such issues with me.

This place is not equipped to handle anyone with Alzheimers. The staff does not even know symptoms or how to care for the patients. My Dads bathroom was left with urine on the floor, stool on the toilet. He has to wear TED hose didnt have them on so he had severe swelling in his leg and no underwear on because no one helped him dress. They will charge you for services you did not receive and say sorry part of the lease you owe us for 30 days even though we did not care for your loved one properly.

I had a poor experience with my Dad in the memory care section. They were ill-equipped to handle my father's needs due to a lack of staffing. Personnel told my dad repeatedly that he could use his Depends and they were unable to get him out of bed telling him if he laid down at 2 pm, he could not get up the rest of the day. Holidays especially did not have proper staffing. I thought the facility oversold itself and two of the reviews here (Otis) are by the mgrs family. It was not a dignified experience for my Dad and was smoke and mirrors on care.

This place is beautiful with great customer service.

Very friendly, very clean, my grandfather really seems to love it. He claims it has really great food also - multiple options daily. Book clubs, painting/art, great activities. The facility is really nice. Update, unfortunately my grandpa passed away a few months ago. Morning Pointe staff was AMAZING through the most difficult of times. If there was an option for 6 stars they would get it. My Mom was very satisfied with how everything was handled shortly afterward as well.

Poor food choices....my aunt just recently moved from there. During her stay you would see the same options for lunch and dinner. Mashed potatoes is usually the main side that they offer for 2 of the 3 meals. Better hope that they don't run out of soup, for it's the same soup for lunch and dinner. Serve cold pitiful awful looking sandwiches for dinner and a LOT of fried food is always offer for both meals. A lot of the time the menus are changed due to not having enough food. Writting this review after seeing a huge difference in the food area; since moving my aunt to her new home. This is only her second facility, and we see this to be her final home. She is so much happier here. We now join her for lunch and sometimes for dinner.

From a close and personal , one year, experience at Morning Point Senior [removed] I am sure whoever is looking to relocate a Mom or a Dad to a senior living community would relate to our story.When it came to pass that it became absolutely necessary to do just that, our loved Mom furiously objected and rejected the idea and no one was going to persuade her to leave her home behind. That being understandable we went ahead and started to do an extensive search and visited numerous facilities in the east side of Louisville, KY. Having done that ,there was no doubt in our mind that we finally found everything we were looking for in the Morning Pointe Senior Living . To mention a few are the following-The convenient location, the fact that it is a one floor building with less than a hundred residents, the surrounding and indoor beauty, the different choices of apartments , the safety within and without, the close proximity to Restaurants, shopping centers, Pharmacies, grocery stores, the 24 hour nurses on duty, the doctor-on-call availability, the loving and prompt attention and care given by the Resident Assistants , the transportation means available for the Residents , the food, the nostalgic soft music one enjoys throughout the hallways, the different activities Residents enjoy, the Wellness Center led by top notch Physiotherapists and Occupational therapists, the Beauty salon, the hospitable and loving Staff and the most involved, most personable, Executive Director, Mr. [name removed], who deservingly is embraced as a 'Beloved son' by the Residents . Above all, the feel of a close-nit-family atmosphere is the icing on the cake. Our 90 year old loved one, fell in love with her new life at Morning Pointe, and never looked back. I highly recommend that anyone looking for a facility for a Mom or a Dad , must not make a decision before they visit Morning Pointe Senior Living. Through the eyes of an RN

This community is brand new only been open a few months. The community is very close to my home which is a nice feature. I feel very comfortable placing my mom here. The nursing staff is wonderful here very nice and attentive and professional. There is room for improvement in the staffing of the aides. Mom has been doing the activities and going to social events since day one and she is enjoying them. She loves the food I am very pleased with the care she is receiving and I would recommend the community.

Caring Staff, Beautiful Building, Engaging Programs — this place has it all!

Morning Pointe is a beautiful campus with caring staff. The food is a is excellent and Fun activities are always going on. I am very pleased with this facility.

We liked the staff who have been caring for my fathers' needs. The community is clean and the staff is always attentive to his needs for care. The menu has been appealing. We would recommend this community for good care.

I can not say enough good things about this community. My uncle is doing very well, and he is very satisfied with his move to this community. I have noticed positive changes in him, and his behavior. He wasn't a very social person before his move here, but he is starting to come out his shell. He is getting involved in the community, and the activities they offer. The meals are amazing, and they do a good job with the cleanliness of the community. I would give this community an A+ rating in everything, and I would highly recommend it.

My father lived in the memory care section for a few short months until his health required different care. Morning Pointe quickly became his home and his caregivers became his second family. They were patient, caring, and helped my father and our family weather the storms of his disease. The staff truly cared for him and made this transition so much easier for us all. I would recommend this warm and caring environment to anyone!

My Great Aunt says staying here, a great facility with amazing service, I never have to worry about her here.

Morning Pointe of Louisville is a beautiful, new Personal Care community in the Fern Creek community. The customer service and care by the team at Morning Pointe is outstanding. From the moment you walk through the door you can tell their staff care about their residents and everyone they come in contact with. Highly recommend this community for your family!

This facility is very well maintained. The staff is very polite and friendly, and my family was quite impressed by their competence in senior care. My loved one gets plenty of opportunities to participate in activities and she is getting plenty to eat. I am pleased with my loved one's stay!

My Grandmother wore depends and had dementia and spit (which is a symptom) and she fell once and Morning Pointe made her move out of the facility. A friend of the family's mother lived there to and she fell once and they made her leave as well. Luckily she is now at a much better facility!

This is a newer looking community. I Liked it very well and it did look fancy. The people I met were nice and the community was clean.

Morning Pointe of Louisville was a very nice community, and it was fairly new. It seemed like they had a high turnover and that was probably one thing that kind of turned us against it. It just was a different atmosphere too. A friend of mine has her aunt in there. We checked out her room, and it was really nice.

Morning Pointe is brand new, I liked the rooms, they were better than the others I’ve seen, and from a financial standpoint, I could afford to live there with my wife. The amenities were fine, and they were probably better equipped than the others. However, the turnover in personnel was high.

My aunt is doing very well here at this community. We are satisfied with all they have done for us. The community is well maintained. They do a good job keeping everything nice and clean. They have a very helpful staff here. I know she is receiving great care. She is safe and in good hands here. I would recommend this community, it has worked out well for us.

Mom has made a smooth transition to Morning Pointe of Louisville. The staff are very nurturing and affectionate with my mom. We are very pleased with the level of care that she receives. The community is relatively new and is well kept.

I went to one of Morning Pointe's open houses. It was very clean and like a community. It was very, very good. I looked around quickly, and they gave me some good pointers. The dining area was nice. The atmosphere was wide open and nice.
