Morning Pointe of Richmond

I cannot speak highly enough of Morning Pointe of Richmond. The entire staff are kind, attentive, and truly dedicated to making residents feel at home. They go above and beyond. The facility is always clean, beautifully maintained, and designed for comfort and accessibility. Great dining options for all residents. There are plenty of activities to keep residents active and connected with others. There is a sense of community and genuine care which is evident by the way staff treat residents like family. I would highly recommend Morning Pointe of Richmond.

We moved my 92 year old mother into her apartment less than one week ago. Her transition was far better than anyone could have ever expected. The staff and residents are super friendly and knowledgeable, they made her and our family feel right at home. The facility and landscaping is immaculate and well maintained. This is the best place for Mom. It allows her to have independence, while helping her with her everyday needs, Social, Physical and Medical.

My Mother has an apartment at Morning Pointe of Richmond and has a form of Dementia. My birthday was about a month ago and I had written it on my Mom’s calendar, but she still didn’t realize it was my birthday. I was feeling kind of sad that day because I don’t have a parent that can wish me a happy birthday anymore. The evening of my birthday I received a call which was the assistant working with Mom that evening. She said she was calling for my mom and proceeded to put Mom on the phone to talk to me and reminded Mom it was my birthday. Mom was able to tell me Happy Birthday because the staff saw it was my birthday and went above and beyond to help Mom call me!! This meant the world to me!! This employee did this all on her own and that’s the kind of compassion families need in these situations! Kudos Morning Pointe!!

Our family had to make the tough decision on where to place our Mom when she wanted to stay in Richmond. We are extremely pleased with the care, attention, activities and food at Morning Point. We are thankful for their care and concern. It is like one BIG family with great individuals caring for and about her. Thank you ALL!!!

Morning Pointe of Richmond has been a wonderful fit for my family. The entire staff is knowledgeable and caring, the facility is welcoming and well-maintained, and the overall environment has helped my loved one find a renewed sense of purpose. The staff at Morning Pointe made the transition to assisted living smooth and served as trusted experts in helping my family adjust. My mom has now been living at Morning Pointe for nearly two years, and she views the entire staff and fellow residents as her family. The social opportunities and activities have given her a sense of purpose and belonging. As well, she maintains her independence by continuing to drive herself on shopping outings (and there are plenty of options for that nearby). Our entire experience has been positive, and I highly recommend Morning Pointe of Richmond.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Morning Pointe of Richmond. My father passed suddenly and I needed to move my mother closer to me where she could have community and involvement. I visited several assisted living centers and this just felt like home. It has been exceptional for my mother. I rest at ease knowing she has the best care. The communication is wonderful if anything comes up. They are like family. Blessed to have them!

My 90 year old father, who is healthy and lived in his own home, decided he no longer wanted the responsibility of taking care of a house, cooking meals for himself, and living alone. After checking out different options, we found Morning Pointe of Richmond, KY and it wasn’t long before he was able to move into an apartment at their facility. My father is absolutely loving this new chapter of his life - he is enjoying great meals, activities, the socialization, and the comfort of knowing that if he needs help with anything, it is at his fingertips. The staff- all the way from the director… to the nurses….to the one who sits at the front desk ….to the man who hooks up the cable tv- they are all eager to assist my father immediately. The facility is clean, there are no bad odors, the staff is competent, friendly and they have a positive demeanor. As his daughter, I was concerned that this move would be a step toward my father having to give up his independence, and that he and I wouldn’t be able to go and do things that we normally did together. This has not been the case- I have been very impressed that Morning Pointe gives their residents the freedom to continue living their lives to the fullest. If my dad wants to go outside and walk- he can! If he wants to stay up until after midnight watching the UK Basketball Game and sleep in the next day, he can! Both my father and I are now free from the worries of things like- a fall in the night or what’s for supper? It has been a positive move for my father and my mind is at ease, knowing that he is cared for and living at his new home- Morning Pointe of Richmond! Highly recommend!

My aunt recently moved into the Richmond location of Morning Pointe. She needs some assistance with remembering and was feeling a bit too lonely living alone. Since moving in July 1, she has begun to thrive! She's happier, loves the food, brags about how friendly the staff members are, and genuinely has improved in all areas of her health. We are so thankful for the new friends she is making and know that she is safe, well-cared-for by all her Morning Pointe family.

I toured Morning Pointe of Richmond. It's one of the favorite ones I visited and it's right along my drive to work, which is just super convenient. It is very close to a park with a lot of activities and dog walking. My dad has a little dog as well as a golf course, and my dad plays golf. There is a medical community near him. There's a grocery store about two blocks away so I can pick him up and take him to the grocery store very conveniently. It's on the edge of town in a nice community. So it's scenic in all directions. The food looked good. One of the big things was, that they encouraged the residents to come to all the meals and participate in social activities. I felt like it was important not to let him isolate in his room. I haven't had any real personal experience with the staff yet but everyone's been friendly and helpful. They had a library space and they had an exercise space. It wasn't a full gym, but they do bring in occupational therapists and physical therapists twice a week. They also have full-time nursing staff.

My wife and I moved my father-in-law here about 3 weeks ago. Every interaction I have had with a staff member since then has been fantastic. Every time I've observed someone working with a resident I saw professionalism and caring. It should be noted that great staff reflect great leadership. - Kevin Moore

I have been caring for residents at Richmond Morningpointe for over a year. During this time, I have been very impressed with the level of professionalism, empathy, care and genuine excitement that the leadership and staff bring with them to work every day. They love on their residents very well and have fostered an environment in which the residents thrive! The residents are engaged physically, mentally and emotionally on a daily basis. The residents know that they are part of a special community, one that feels very much like a family! Keep up the great work Richmond Morningpointe!

What a precious community!! My family visited for the Easter event and had a wonderful time. It is a beautiful, spotless facility and you can tell just how much the staff cares about their residents. It was very refreshing to experience such a wonderful assisted living community.

Ever since I walked into the doors of Morning Pointe almost 8yrs ago I've felt like I've found my second family.. From the residents to the staff making me feel welcomed from the beginning. It's very rewarding knowing I'm making a difference in someone's life whether big or small. Those that work at Morning Pointe give their heart and soul to ensure the residents receive the best care possible each and every day. I'm proud to be an employee.

Great facility and staff. Very comfortable and amenable atmosphere.

My mother-in-law has been placed in Morning Pointe of Richmond Senior Living. It's more like a home than a disinfected hospital sort of feeling. It's more homey. The staff are very friendly and caring; I couldn't ask for more. I would say the food quality is good, but I guess it could always be better. There are two or three activities going on every day. They take trips, they play cards, they do crafts, they have music that comes in, they have a local place where they go for Tai Chi, and they have daily exercise. There's a multitude, more than I could remember.

Morning Pointe of Richmond was small and more expensive than the other place we toured. The rooms were small. The staff was very nice and friendly. Cable TV was separate. Laundry was available for an additional charge. They provide transportation. They seemed to have a full range of activities. I saw a calendar. The amenities were individually priced.

We visted every other facility in the Richmond KY area for Assisted Living with a checklist. Two others were brand new and beautiful, with nice staff and immenities. But those others were all institutional with 10' ceilings and huge corridors and gathering spaces...not cozy or homey at all. Morningpointe is cozy, friendly & homelike, with fantastic food, and a doting professional staff. A local homecare company told me it was their favorite facility. Mom is settling in, loves the food, and the nursing staff. She likes the activities and participates as she can. I am confident we made the right choice.

Morning Pointe was a such blessing to find for my mother! It was a difficult decision to make but we found the atmosphere, the caregivers and the residents warm, accepting and friendly. The family environment, meals, activities and community centered relationships support their goals to involve families in remaining as active and healthy as possible for as long as possible!

I could not have imagined a more positive experience for my mom and our entire family! Christy and the entire staff have been exceptional! Extra special touches include welcome gifts, and really go above and beyond. Mom feels at home! Thank you thank you!

Mom is thriving and seems to love it. The staff is absolutely wonderful with her. It has a very warm and friendly atmosphere. We looked at a few other communities before choosing Morning Pointe. They looked nice but, they didn’t seem to have that genuine, home feeling that Morning Pointe has. The rooms and bathrooms are large and mom has a choice of different activities to participate in.

Its been a week since my Sister made the decision to have our Father live at Morning Pointe while he recovers from a rare illness that limits his mobility while he recovers. We are thrilled with the staff. They are kind, patient, and caring to my Father who is going through a rough patch. And after a very rough stay at Cardinal Hill he feels comfortable and unafraid. I can't say enough about how much better we feel and confident in knowing he is there and being cared for.

My uncle was well cared for at Morning Pointe in Richmond KY for 4 years. I found a wonderful loving community at all times.

My Aunt, [name removed], moved to this facility several months ago, and we cant be any happier with the care and service she gets. The team there is very much a team with [name removed] as Executive Director. The residents are fed very good, and balanced meals under the direction of [name removed]. The nursing staff is very attentive by the direction of [name removed]. The activities are very balanced with a full schedule thanks to [name removed]. When you walk in you think you are in a luxurious hotel that is keep very clean and orderly by [name removed]. And last of all there is a very nice and caring receptionist that always has a smile and makes you feel very welcome, Thank you [name removed]. Hats Off to you all ! [name removed]

Friendly

Morning Pointe of Richmond was very nice and homey. It was almost like home. They had activities and good food. The staff seemed to be engaging, caring, and friendly. The people living there seemed to be able to approach them and felt secure with them. They had creative activities, dominoes, cards, different exercises, and outings at different times of the year and to go shopping. They had things to do.

I sit with a lady here. These folks are absolutely phenomenal! This isn't a nursing home, but they do offer a level of assistance, such as showers, dressing & bathroom breaks. The apartment consists of 1 bedroom, a living room with a couch, there's also a full bathroom. Also in the living room area is a small dinette set, a sink, microwave, & mini fridge. You get a key to your apartment and keep it locked so folks are not free to just come and go. The meals are amazing! All meals are taken in the dining room. They also have snacks such as yogurt and ice cream.

Very thorough interview with the manager. Authentic caring. Very impressed with professional interview.A+ Facility was clean and all residence we encountered seemed very happy and at home. Older facility but very nice decor. Staff was friendly and informative. The facility was a distance from our house and a little inconvenient for what we were looking for. There is waiting list deposit that will go towards the community fee charged when you get in.

Everything is going very well for my aunt at this community. The community is very clean and looks very nice. The staff has been very welcoming and helpful. She trying out new activities. She is more active now more then she has ever been. Family members have gone to visit her and they love the food. It has been a good experience and I would recommend it.

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about Morning Pointe of Richmond. Mother is happy there, I am happy too. Any time I have had a question there is no hesitation in the staff answering it. The staff is just great. There are no complaints on this facility from me.

I like the communication that I have had with the staff so far at Morning Pointe at Richmond. They have nursing on staff and a PA who has access to doctors. They transport on Tuesday and Thursday with no fee, but on other days, there is a fee. They have given me schedules of monthly activities to look over through the entire facility so I can see their various styles of rooms, their meeting room, and their dining room. My overall impression was very good. The place was clean, and the staff was friendly. I have seen the menu, and it looked acceptable. I've seen their activities, and I felt that was fine.

Morning Pointe was nice. She seemed to be well satisfied.

Morning Pointe is a home for my 92 yr. old mother-in-law. She is cared for in the most beautiful way. The staff is like an extended family to her. We could not ask for a better place!

Good place, best food, nice staff.

As a caregiver coming into the facility to treat the residents for therapy, the staff helps me out with plenty of information I need to treat the residents. Everyone on staff from the Director to caregivers, to the kitchen are very nice and treat all the residents with awesome care.

I met one of their workers in the Richmond are whose name is connie. I think they have one of the most sweetest people to help them market their business. And, I hear others in the public say the same things. You guys have done a good job chosing a people person to represent morning point. Just wanted to give you that tidbit.
