Providence Point was not the right fit for my mother who had just had a full hip replacement. We thought having my mother go to a skilled nursing facility after surgery would be the best way to get her back on her feet. We decided on Providence Point after insurance wouldn’t let her go to our first choice out of state because we heard good things about their facility. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by friendly staff. After I left my mother in their care to finish my own work day, she was treated disrespectfully by some staff and was not fed dinner after the Nurse I left her with said she’d make sure she’d get dinner. They threw together something after she asked about it in the evening. They didn’t provide my mother with a walker and were very slow in assisting her to the restroom if they did at all. I can understand being understaffed, but to allow someone walk to the bathroom after a hip replacement with not even a walker or a nurse is not acceptable. Eventually a kind staff member did leave her with a wheelchair. Come night time, we decided we no longer believed Providence Point to be the right fit. When we went to the desk to let them know we wanted to leave and they were trying to prohibit us from doing so. After a scene was made by the nurse working that night, who was disrespectful, and my distressed mother, we were able to leave. Again, there were several friendly staff members, but the ones who were not weigh on the experience heavily. I wouldn’t recommend this skilled nursing facility to anyone going there in hopes of a full and happy recovery.

Beautiful place and staff is on point.

ALL of Providence Point staff are God sent! After the negligent care my mom recieved from Country Side Nursing Home in Baldwell, Ky, we had to demand xrays were taken. Come to find out she had fallen weeks earlier & DID have a broken femor at the hip & required surgery for 2 rods to be placed. we then moved her to Providence Point for rehab & care. ALL of their staff members were gentle & caring for each and every resident.. I could not have asked for a better place to entrust with my mom's care! EVERYONE, from laundry attendants, janitors, maintenence, meal servers, therapists, nursing staff, Administation, to the front desk attendant....all staff were always smiling & genuinely care for the residents... not only physically, but mentally... which meant a world to us. I could not thank them enough...

Absolutely wonderful staff. Jennifer and her team truly go above and beyond daily for all residents. The love and compassion is evident as soon as you enter. The facility is clean. The staff is hospitable and well-groomed. The food is fresh, and the diets always accommodate resident preferences. I cannot say more good things about this place. Highly recommend!!

The whole facility is very nice. I was specifically visiting 300 hall. The staff there were very friendly and helpful. The quality of care is amazing.

Angelica and Misty are very knowledgeable and compassionate and they show the utmost respect to the family and always answers any and all questions I may have in the care of my family members...I want to thank Angelica for her caring and compassionate ways I couldn't have asked for a better Nurse...thank you

Providence Pointe is such a beautiful Skilled Nursing Facility here in Paducah Kentucky. The staff are passionate and professional and have a true heart for what they do. Very knowledgeable when it comes to seniors and their care.

Providence Pointe is an absolutely AMAZING place! My mother recently had surgery and we ended up having to find a Rehab/Nursing Facility to get her back on her feet. I toured multiple facilities in the Western KY area and Providence Pointe is by far the best! The staff here treats you like family with so much love, compassion and kindness! They truly care about making you feel at home and about giving the highest level of care possible. I cannot say enough great things about them! Providence is the only place we would ever consider for any future needs!

Wow! I was so impressed with the cleanliness and comfort this place exudes. They are prompt, proficient, personable, professional, and passionate. Jennifer Lindsey runs a beautiful and smooth ship. Her dedication to maximizing and maintaining Providence Pointe reflects in the environment. Jennifer has gone above and beyond implementing core values in her employees and is an equitable and valuable team player. This facility displays a wonderful balance between being sympathetic and empathetic to others. This facility is the prize at the end of a Cracker Jack box.

Our brother recently had a stay at PPH for physical therapy. My sister and I both live out of town. We were worried at first bc we were far away. We should not have been bc he received the most amazing care there. Every staff member we talked to was professional, patient, caring and kind. The receptionist, Admitting, social workers, nursing staff, dietary(he loved the food) and PT really went above and beyond. When we left with our brother he kept saying he wanted to come back to visit. God bless you all and most importantly- Thank you all for putting your heart into your job. You are all a blessing on earth.

The residents are this facilities first priority. The team that works her are loving and caring and do all they can do every minute of every day. Everyone here works together and does the best they can do.

Best place in the area

Wonderful staff and facility. You can tell they truly care about their residents. Residents have plenty of activities to partake in if they’d like. Residents are truly the number one priority .

This place is more than just a nursing home. This facility is a place the residents can comfortably call home and trust that they are being taken care of with the highest amount of quality and concern. The staff is amazing (especially the receptionist!!!) The first person that greets you at the door is so pleasant and helps uplift spirits of the staff, guests, and others...I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for exceptional daily care for a loved one or loved ones.

Both my parents have spent time at Providence Pointe over the last couple years and have received excellent care. Staff was always willing to answer questions, caring, helpful when discussing medications, etc, and polite. Holly in admissions was always very accommodating also. Response time of staff to room when called was great, much better than other places my parents have been.

Providence Pointe truly has some of the best nurses, nurse aides, and management team. They go above and beyond for their residents every single day.

The team of directors are among some of the most dedicated I've ever seen. Nowhere is perfect, but this group works very hard to hit the mark. (It also happens to be one of the most beautiful facilities anywhere around.)

Providence Pointe has wonderful staff that truly loves their residents!! The building is beautiful!!

My brother is now at Providence Pointe Healthcare. It has two rehab centers and therapy centers. It has two separate nursing stations. It has rehabilitation from release from the hospital onto 24-hour care, so you have time to be oriented. It has two cafeteria areas, a patio area, and a flat area for barbecuing and other events or family planning if somebody wanted to be outside the facility. It has personal hygiene care such as pedicures, manicures, and haircuts at the facility. It has vision, dental and hearing access about every six months at the facility. It has good COVID safety measures that would be good for your health both for the visitors and the residents. I was able to attend live music and live bingo, and they have prizes. The director of the activities is very nice. It's a nice place, it's big, and there's plenty of room and different levels.

They seemed nice, but than started sending only 1 person into a room to move a patient for a bath, toilet time, etc. Then refused to send additional help when asked. Blamed it on anyone that was a "superior"

This place is horrible. Majority of Staff is invisible when needed, Food is terrible, Meals that are supposed to be hot are quite often cold. God help You if You are having severe pain and waiting for Your Medication.

My work

My mother had a negative experience here. The staff was nice enough, but she was basically neglected to the point that my sister and I removed her and cared for her at home. It was a sad situation which I hope is unique to us. If you put your loved one there, BE VERY INVOLVED and aware of that person’s care!
