Awful. Food was bad. They were very rude with my grandmother at times. Heating issues repeatedly. Best I can say is she survived. How ever it is clean.

Some of the aids are HORRIBLE!!!! They don’t bathe the residents like they are suppose to. They run & hide, to avoid taking care of the residents. They steal people belongings. It’s a NO for me. I would NOT refer anyone to this place.

I've come a long way to recovery but I didn't get there alone. If it wasn't for the care of the trained staff at Seneca Place who brought me from a wheelchair to being able to walk on my own two feet again. God only knows where I'd be.

At this exceptional nursing home, residents experience a welcoming and caring environment that truly stands out. The facility is spotless, with a strong emphasis on cleanliness and comfort. Residents can relax knowing they’re in a hygienic, well-maintained space. The food is another highlight, with nutritious, delicious meals prepared daily, including special meal options tailored to individual dietary needs or preferences. The staff is incredibly friendly and compassionate, always eager to assist and provide support to both residents and their families. Above all, the administrator runs the facility with amazing efficiency, warmth, and dedication, creating a positive, family-like atmosphere. Whether it's the care provided, the quality of the food, and not forgetting the amounts of activities for the lovely residents and this 2 ladies treating them as family, the or the overall environment, this nursing home excels in every way, making it a truly outstanding place for loved ones to call home.

This place was horrible for my father. I could never get a hold of any one for a care plan. If he needed help to get to the bathroom they would tell him just to go in his diaper. This time we chose a different place and there is no comparison. This place should be shut down.

Unspecified · December 2024

Not enough staff. Patient care needs are compromised by too little staff.

Unspecified · October 2024

My father was in there had to remove him from there do to poor employees never check on him he would push button and it would take them at least 30 minutes or longer! They dont have enough staff to attend to there patients or staff is just lazy. Was there to get rehab but they would do rehab maybe once a week. He would ask for tea of juice with his meals and they would only bring him milk

Seneca is a wonderful place. I recommend this facility to everyone. The facility is clean and staff there are friendly and compassionate.

Unspecified · May 2024

I was here to visit a person I consider being like an sister to me. We needed a CNA to change her clean the bed I was here over 4 hours or more . First when I walk in she was hanging off the bed not knowing how long so I got three ladies which was here after their break came and fix her in the bed after I asked them to. Now it's very late someone needs to clean her.

I liked the admissions and therapy team. I love the activities department, Yahtzee and Bingo was my favorite.

Unspecified · May 2024

if I could give this place a negative star I would please do not put your loved one in this place

Unspecified · April 2024

If zero stars were possible that is exactly what I would give this facility. There is an extreme language barrier. The kitchen staff is disturbingly rude to the residents. The staff generally ignores the residents until they see fit. I could go on and on about this building but I don’t think any of us have time to sit here. My grandmother is currently a resident there for rehabilitation and I hear a new concern every single time that I come up there. I understand being short staffed but that is no reason to ignore or mistreat people. And furthermore, if you’re understaffed maybe it would be best to stop accepting new patients. Then I don’t see the professionalism in telling a patient they complain too much or ask them what they want now. That’s just blatantly disrespectful.

Unspecified · April 2024

If I could rate this place at 0 stars I would. Seneca place in Louisville Kentucky is horrific. My grandfather was there for almost 2 weeks and had a terrible time. This place is severely understaffed. This place is suppose to be a rehabilitation center. Far from it. Huge language barrier. One staff member at night and residents told if there were to poop at night they wouldn’t be changed until the morning. My grandfather needs to be fed by the staff and the staff refused to feed him. When he needs any sort of help, the staff ignores him. He hadn’t had a shower since he’d been there and there response was because they are short staffed; if short staffed then why take in new patients. A commotion was heard in the hallway of a husband yelling at staff due to his wife lying in her own poop for hours and they refused to change her. This place needs to be shut down.

Unspecified · January 2024

Fun exciting atmosphere, caring staff, lots of fun activities for resident enjoyment.

Unspecified · January 2024

Most horrible experience I’ve ever had with any medical facility. If your loved one is able to walk and use the bathroom on their own it may be a different experience but they are not equipped to handle a patient that has extra needs ie can’t get up to use the bathroom. My mother inlaw was left on a bed pan for extended periods and call light not answered for over an hour at times. She was finally told that she needed to just wear a brief if she couldn’t wait and was told multiple times that she wasn’t the only one being cared for. The last straw was me coming in finding my mother inlaw on the floor covered in diarrhea and tangled in her cords yelling as loud as she could for help. If I hadn’t come when I did, no clue how long she would have been there. I was told that falls are part of this but “I’m sorry you had to find her.” She had some confusion and slurred speech and I brought to the attn of NP on a Thursday and was told a call would be put in to doctor and he would be there Monday. And this after saying it could be neurological in nature. There are language barriers with the staff, no sense of urgency, food is marginal at best and one of the most annoying things on top of everything else is you have to be buzzed in and out of the door. If no one is at the desk , you have to wait for someone or wait for 15 seconds after you pull or push on the door consistently and then alarm goes off till someone comes. It’s very much a stressful noise that goes on day and night. Do not be fooled by the nice rooms and decor. The people I talked to in PT department at least understood English and spoke it well and seemed to have a clue and be caring. The 1 star is for them.

The unit manager Nada was very helpful and kind. Tammy and Anita made the activities fun. The nurses and assistants were were always friendly and kind. The rooms had a lot of storage for personal items and were clean. And the food was good.

Unspecified · July 2023

Nada , UM, was just the greatest!! We love all of the PT staff and the way they worked with my son! Tammy, AD, is super friendly and talented!! Pat the receptionist was always nice

Unspecified · July 2023

Do not send your loved one here. Nadia the rehab manager is very unprofessional I have videos of her arguing in the hallway. My sister was only given small maybe 1oz cup of water to take meds. I have pictures. My sister would call her daughter saying noone would answer her call light. I went to see my my sister she was lethargic and Josh the weekend manager did not want to send her to the er he said based on his nursing judgment she was ok. our family insisted and he said the hospital would send her right back. We packed her clothes immediately. When she went to the hospital she was dehydrated and her kidneys were failing. Josh even had the nerve to call the hospital that night and the nurses refused to give him any information. This placed needs to be shut down. Again I have videos. The assistant DON even said the Cuban nurses don't even know how to do basic nursing things. Please do not trust this place. We come from a family of medical professionals. This is not acceptable.
